About

TransFi

TransFi is a payments infrastructure and orchestration company that enables businesses to move money across borders using stablecoin rails. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Dubai, UAE, with a Delaware C-Corp structure and offices in Tampa, Florida, TransFi sits at the intersection of traditional financial networks and blockchain settlement — connecting the patchwork of local payment systems across emerging markets to digital assets including native USDC on Solana.

The Problem TransFi Targets

Cross-border payments remain one of the most friction-laden experiences in global finance. A payment from Nigeria to Kenya, for example, typically routes through correspondent banking hubs in New York or London before landing on the African continent — adding days of delay, multiple intermediary fees, and foreign exchange exposure that compounds across each leg. For businesses in high-growth emerging markets, this infrastructure is both slow and expensive.

TransFi's thesis is that stablecoins, particularly USDC on networks like Solana, can replace correspondent-bank chains with a single, programmable settlement layer. Rather than building a traditional fintech on top of existing rails, the company rebuilds the settlement backbone while plugging into existing local collection and disbursement networks.

Core Mechanism

TransFi operates as a middleware layer between local payment ecosystems and on-chain settlement. On the inbound side, a business or user pays using a familiar local method — a bank transfer via UPI in India, a mobile wallet via GCash in the Philippines, or PIX in Brazil. TransFi's platform receives those funds, converts them to stablecoins, and routes them over blockchain rails to the destination. On the outbound side, the process reverses: stablecoin funds land in the destination country and are disbursed through that market's local payment network in local currency.

The company reports that this end-to-end process can complete in under ten minutes, compared to the one-to-five business days typical of correspondent banking. The platform connects to more than 250 local payment methods across more than 70 countries and supports more than 40 fiat currencies. It handles KYC, AML screening, and local regulatory compliance in-house, allowing enterprise clients to integrate without building their own compliance stack.

Product Suite

TransFi offers three primary products that serve different layers of the payments stack.

Ramp is TransFi's on-ramp and off-ramp solution, enabling retail and enterprise users to convert fiat to crypto and back. It supports more than 80 digital assets across more than 40 blockchains, including USDC and SOL on Solana. The product handles the full conversion flow: payment method collection, identity verification, blockchain settlement, and fiat disbursement.

Ramp Widget is an embeddable, API-first product built for developers and product teams. It allows any web or mobile application to add a native on-ramp or off-ramp experience without routing users to an external service. The widget integrates via a JavaScript embed or a REST API and supports mobile SDKs for React Native, Flutter, Android, and iOS. It includes built-in webhook management for real-time order status, KYC event notifications, and reconciliation.

BizPay is TransFi's business payments platform, aimed at accounts payable, payroll, and vendor disbursement use cases. It enables companies to collect payments locally from customers in one country and disburse to counterparts in another — settling over stablecoin rails with the goal of completing transfers in under five minutes.

JARVIS is TransFi's proprietary AI-driven compliance platform that consolidates KYC verification, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring into a single interface. The system integrates with Sumsub for identity verification workflows.

Solana Integration

TransFi supports native USDC on the Solana network as a settlement and distribution layer. When a Solana dApp integrates TransFi's Ramp Widget, a user in Manila can deposit via GCash and receive USDC on Solana in their application wallet, ready for use in DeFi protocols, NFT platforms, gaming applications, or peer-to-peer transfers. The platform reports that one Solana social application using this integration saw a 50% reduction in onboarding time and a 38% increase in funded wallets after enabling local payment methods.

TransFi cites Solana's transaction speed and low fees as the practical reason for prioritizing native support on the network.

Security and Compliance

TransFi manages regulatory compliance as part of its core infrastructure proposition. The platform handles KYC and KYB identity verification, AML transaction monitoring, and local regulatory adherence across the markets it serves. The JARVIS compliance platform automates screening and monitoring. The Ramp API documentation covers signed URL authentication, role-based access controls, and webhook signature verification for partners integrating directly.

Team and Funding

TransFi was co-founded by Raj Kamal (CEO), Rahul Sahni (COO and CPO), and Prateek Bhargava (Chief Banking and Network Officer). As of mid-2026, the company employs around 150 people.

In March 2026, TransFi closed a $14.2 million Series A equity round plus a $5 million committed liquidity facility, led by Turing Financial Group with participation from Blockchain Founders Fund, Cambrian Fintech, Dubai Future District Fund, and Everywhere Ventures. The company reported 16x revenue growth since its 2024 seed round and set a 2026 target of approximately $5 billion in processed transaction volume.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

TransFi occupies the fiat-to-on-chain entry point that determines whether Solana's speed and low transaction cost advantage translates into accessible financial products for users in emerging markets. Most Solana applications built around payments, remittances, stablecoins, or DeFi face an onboarding constraint: getting users who lack existing crypto infrastructure onto the network at all. TransFi attacks that constraint directly, providing the local payment method coverage and compliance infrastructure that allows Solana-based products to acquire users in markets where mobile money and bank transfers dominate and credit card penetration remains low.
