Tatum Platform
Tatum Platform is a unified blockchain development toolkit providing RPC nodes, APIs, SDKs, and developer tools for building Web3 applications. The system offers access to multiple blockchain protocols through standardized interfaces while maintaining cross-chain compatibility and enterprise-grade infrastructure.
Tatum
Tatum is a blockchain infrastructure platform that provides developers and enterprises with a unified abstraction layer for building and scaling Web3 applications across 130+ blockchain networks. Rather than managing separate RPC providers, indexing pipelines, and wallet systems for each chain, teams access standardized APIs, high-performance RPC gateways, and managed wallet infrastructure through a single platform.
Core Products
RPC Gateway gives developers JSON-RPC and gRPC access to mainnet and testnet nodes across 130+ chains, with intelligent load balancing, automatic failover, geo-routing, caching, MEV protection, and an RPC Accelerator. Tatum publishes a 99.99% uptime SLA and sub-50ms average response time. In December 2025, the company launched Tatum Gateway, giving operators explicit control over RPC traffic orchestration across providers.
Blockchain Data API provides a standardized indexed interface for wallet balances, token holdings, transaction histories, NFT metadata, DeFi positions, and exchange rates, with malicious-address flagging for security checks at the application layer.
Smart Wallets handle MPC wallet creation, transaction signing, and gas sponsorship. The Key Management System (KMS) extends this to custodial applications, enabling local signing without uploading key material to external servers.
Web3 Notifications delivers real-time webhook alerts for address activity, smart contract triggers, and token transfers across supported networks, with automatic retry delivery.
Solana Support
Tatum provides dedicated Solana mainnet and devnet infrastructure via JSON-RPC (solana-mainnet.gateway.tatum.io) and a low-latency gRPC streaming endpoint (solana-mainnet-grpc.gateway.tatum.io). The Data API covers token balances, full transaction history, exchange rates, and address security checks for Solana addresses. The Notifications system supports webhook delivery for any Solana address or program event.
Scale and Clients
Tatum reports $35B+ in processed transaction volume, 150M+ end users, and 170K+ developers. Clients include Binance, ZenGo, Anchorage Digital, and Celo.
Security
SOC 2 compliant, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, top 10% CertiK Skynet security rating.
Background and Funding
Founded in 2018 by Jiri Kobelka and Samuel Šramko, headquartered in Miami, FL. Total funding raised: $41.5M. Ecosystem partnerships with Polygon, Celo, Avalanche, Horizen, and Tezos.
Recent Direction
As of mid-2026, Tatum is focused on three areas: Smart Wallet adoption to eliminate seed-phrase friction, AI-blockchain integration tooling to help builders connect AI models to on-chain infrastructure, and prediction market data aggregation (Polymarket and Kalshi) through a single API endpoint.
