Sleepagotchi is a gamified sleep-to-earn wellness application built on Solana that turns consistent bedtime habits into on-chain rewards. Users set sleep goals, track nightly rest through their smartphone health data, and receive NFTs and token rewards proportional to how closely they hit their targets. What began as a sleep incentive game has since evolved into an AI-powered wellness platform that positions real-time biometric data as an asset users can own and eventually monetize. The project was founded in early 2022 by Anton Kraminkin, who graduated it through the eleventh cohort of Alliance DAO. It was incubated by CoinList and Alliance DAO, with seed funding of 3.5 million dollars from Shima Capital, 1kx, Sfermion, 6th Man Ventures, and Santiago R. Santos. Kenny Wood, a 20-year games industry veteran, now serves as CEO. Dmitry Zaulichny is CPO. The core loop centers on sleep consistency rather than raw duration. Players configure a bedtime and wake window; each night, Sleepagotchi scores performance against those targets and awards rewards. The default cadence provides one free daily NFT, with a second when goals are met. Users accumulate vSLEEP, the in-game preview currency, through sleep streaks, referrals, leaderboard placement, and Hunt Mode battles, a lightweight idle RPG layer. No wearable is required: sleep data comes from smartphone health sensors. For those with wearables, the platform integrates Whoop, Oura, and Apple Watch. Under CEO Kenny Wood, Sleepagotchi has pivoted toward what it calls the intelligence layer for the wellness economy. Four AI agents now cooperate: Sleep Coach for causal explanations and personalized chat; Wellness Agent for mood, diet, caffeine, and alcohol inputs; Meal Planner for recipe suggestions; and Shopping Agent for ingredient or supplement sourcing. Roughly 75 percent of users open the app within ten minutes of waking, a signal that underpins the longer-term vision of users owning and monetizing their AI-derived health records on Solana. The companion character Dino grows with the player across an expanding narrative world; mid-2026 content introduces Koalo Village. The game also includes hero gacha mechanics and an idle RPG combat system via Hunt Mode. Sleepagotchi uses a two-layer token structure. vSLEEP is the in-game preview currency earned during beta; it informs eventual airdrop allocation. The planned on-chain token is SLEEP on Solana, through which users are intended to own processed health records. SHEEP appears in third-party coverage as an alternative ticker; a pre-TGE airdrop campaign ran through the Telegram Lite app. NFTs serve as daily rewards and customizable assets including character upgrades and home decor items. The platform is live on iOS and Android. Sleepagotchi Lite, a Telegram mini-app that does not require sleep data, reached over two million all-time users and ranked in the top five grossing apps on the platform in Q1 2025. The project also expanded to LINE through a version on Sony Soneium blockchain, a Layer 2 Ethereum solution, reaching markets in Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea. Third-party retention data shows 41 percent of users remain active a full year after joining, compared to 10 to 20 percent for conventional sleep apps. Within Solana, Sleepagotchi occupies the intersection of GameFi, consumer wellness, and decentralized health data, positioning itself alongside efforts to bring real-world biometric signals on-chain in ways that give individuals, rather than platforms, control over the generated value.
