RocketX Exchange

RocketX Exchange is a non-custodial hybrid aggregator that routes cryptocurrency swaps and cross-chain bridges across more than 500 centralized and decentralized exchanges simultaneously. Rather than operating its own liquidity pools, RocketX acts as a meta-layer — querying prices across partner CEXs and DEXs in real time and executing the trade through whichever venue offers the best combination of rate, slippage, and fees. The result is a single interface that covers more than 20,000 tokens on more than 200 blockchains, including Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and SUI.

From Rocket Vault to RocketX

The project originated in 2020 as Rocket Vault, an AI and machine-learning tool for crypto value investing. The company, initially headquartered in Singapore, pivoted its focus and rebranded to RocketX Exchange in November 2021 to reflect its shift toward infrastructure-level aggregation. The native token, RVF, launched in April 2021 ahead of the rebrand. The platform has been led by founder and project lead Kiran Mannam and co-founder and CTO Davinder Singh, with Ian Friend — a co-founder of Ferrum Network — also associated with the project's early development.

How the Hybrid Aggregation Model Works

Most crypto aggregators target either DEX liquidity or CEX liquidity, not both. RocketX connects to both simultaneously, pulling quotes from decentralized protocols and centralized order books in the same routing pass. When a user initiates a swap, RocketX fans out quote requests to its 500+ connected venues, scores the responses on effective price after fees and slippage, and executes through the winning path. Because execution is handled at the venue level, RocketX itself never takes custody of user assets.

The platform supports several swap modes:

• Standard cross-chain swaps: Any token on a supported source chain to any token on a supported destination chain. The routing may involve a bridge hop, a DEX swap on the source chain, or a combination.
• Walletless swaps: Users can specify only a destination wallet address, removing the need to connect a wallet to the RocketX interface.
• Privacy swaps: An opt-in mode that obscures the origin of on-chain activity, intended to prevent wallet profiling by third parties and reduce MEV exposure.
• Fixed-rate swaps: Locks an exchange rate at the time of quoting, insulating large orders from price drift during execution.

Solana Integration

Solana is a fully supported chain within RocketX's routing graph. Users can swap into or out of native SOL and Solana SPL tokens from any other supported chain, with RocketX handling bridging and liquidity routing transparently. Cross-chain paths that touch Solana are executed through RocketX's partner bridge and DEX integrations rather than requiring users to source bridge contracts or intermediate assets themselves.

For Solana-native traders, RocketX's differentiation lies in its CEX dimension: it can route a Solana-to-Ethereum swap through a centralized venue if the CEX rate beats what on-chain bridges and DEXs offer at that moment. Competitors focused purely on on-chain routing cannot access this liquidity, which is particularly relevant for large orders where on-chain price impact is significant.

Developer API and Partner Integrations

RocketX offers a public API and embeddable swap widget for developers who want to add cross-chain swap functionality to their own wallets, dApps, or platforms. Integration is documented as achievable in under three minutes for the widget, with full API access covering all 200+ chains and routing intelligence. Partners that drive swap volume through the API participate in a fee-share arrangement, allowing wallet developers and dApp builders to monetize their user flow without building routing infrastructure themselves.

The platform also partnered with Onramper to integrate a fiat-to-crypto onramp, letting new users purchase crypto directly within the RocketX flow rather than requiring an external exchange account as a prerequisite.

RVF Token

RVF is the native utility token of the RocketX ecosystem. Holding RVF grants users free access to the platform with no additional fees deducted on swaps — a direct fee-reduction incentive for active traders. The token launched in April 2021 and is listed on multiple exchanges. RocketX has at various times run community programs such as "Publish to Earn" competitions that distribute RVF to content contributors, functioning as a grassroots growth mechanism.

Security and Audits

RocketX's smart contracts have been audited by Zokyo and Network Intelligence, two security firms focused on blockchain protocol review. The team states that audits are revised whenever major platform updates are shipped, rather than treating the initial audit as a permanent certification. The platform's non-custodial architecture limits the attack surface relative to exchange models that hold user funds: assets pass through routing contracts briefly during execution but are not held in a RocketX treasury or vault.

The platform reports having processed over $2 billion in cumulative trading volume across more than one million completed swaps, and carries a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot based on user reviews.

Ecosystem Position

RocketX occupies a distinct position in the multi-chain trading stack. While Solana-native aggregators like Jupiter dominate intra-Solana routing — handling the large majority of aggregator-routed volume on-chain — RocketX's value is explicitly cross-chain: it serves traders moving assets between Solana and other ecosystems, or traders who want a single interface to access both CEX and DEX liquidity regardless of the source chain. The platform's lack of KYC for DEX-routed swaps, combined with its walletless and privacy swap options, also targets users who prioritize accessibility and on-chain discretion over the features of a full exchange account.

For developers and wallet teams, the single-API access to 200+ chains reduces integration complexity compared to maintaining separate bridge and DEX connections per chain — a particularly compelling pitch for multi-chain wallet builders who need Solana coverage alongside EVM and non-EVM chains.
