RocketX Exchange
RocketX Exchange is a DEX aggregator that routes swaps and cross-chain transfers across 200+ blockchains by comparing liquidity from 450+ CEX and DEX partners in real time. The system supports single-chain swaps, multi-hop cross-chain swaps, and bridge transfers for 20,000+ tokens, selecting the optimal route based on price, gas cost, and execution time. A partner API and embeddable Swap Widget allow third-party platforms to integrate the aggregation layer directly, with configurable fee sharing based on RVF token holdings.
RocketX Exchange
RocketX Exchange is a hybrid centralized-exchange (CEX) and decentralized-exchange (DEX) aggregator that routes crypto swaps across more than 200 blockchains through a single interface. Launched in April 2021, the platform aggregates liquidity from more than 500 exchange partners simultaneously — spanning DEX aggregators, CEX order books, and cross-chain bridges — and surfaces the optimal route for any token-to-token swap or bridge.
The Problem It Solves
The fragmentation of crypto liquidity is the central problem RocketX addresses. A trader wanting to move an asset from Solana to Arbitrum, or from Bitcoin to a BNB Chain token, historically needed to navigate multiple applications, bridge interfaces, and exchange accounts, each with different fee structures, slippage tolerances, and security assumptions. Locating the best price across hundreds of venues manually is impractical, and concentrating on a single DEX or CEX means accepting whatever liquidity depth that venue happens to have.
RocketX attempts to collapse this complexity into one routing engine. It compares live quotes from DEX aggregators such as ParaSwap and 1inch alongside CEX liquidity simultaneously, then executes through whichever path returns the best outcome for the user parameters.
Core Mechanism
The routing engine operates in three stages. First, a user connects a self-custody wallet — MetaMask, Rabby, and similar wallets are supported — or initiates a walletless swap. Second, they select source and destination networks and tokens from the supported set of more than 20,000 tokens across 200+ chains. Third, the aggregator fans out quote requests across its partner exchange integrations, ranks results by price or speed according to user preference, and executes the chosen route.
For CEX legs of a route, the platform temporarily accesses centralized exchange liquidity without requiring the user to create an account on that exchange. Execution completes within seconds on the CEX side before settlement reaches the user wallet. Transaction times across the full route average one to fifteen minutes depending on network congestion.
The non-custodial design means users sign every transaction from their own wallet. Private keys are never held by RocketX. For users concerned about on-chain visibility, the platform offers a Private Mode feature intended to obscure transaction patterns, which has become a core marketing focus — the platform X account branding reads "RocketX | Privacy Swaps."
Key Features
Lightning Swaps are the platform fast-execution path, prioritizing speed over price optimization for time-sensitive trades.
Bridge functionality handles same-token, cross-chain transfers as a distinct flow from token swaps, allowing users to move an asset from Ethereum to Solana or similar single-asset moves without performing a full token swap.
Fee transparency: the platform charges a dynamic fee starting from approximately 0.2–0.4%, displayed before confirmation with no hidden fees according to its documentation. KYC is only required for fiat on-ramp flows handled through third-party providers Transak and Onramper; crypto-to-crypto swaps require no account or identity verification.
Developer API and white-label widget: RocketX offers a RESTful API for application developers who want to embed cross-chain swap functionality. Integrators share in fees generated through their integrations. A copy-and-paste swap widget is also available for simpler embedding use cases. The platform targets crypto wallets, DeFi applications, and institutions seeking a unified cross-chain liquidity API.
The RVF Token
RocketX native token is RVF (originally branded Rocket Vault Finance), launched on April 13, 2021. The token primary in-protocol utility is a fee waiver: RVF holders are not charged platform fees on swaps. The token is listed on CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap, with a market capitalization of approximately 2.3 million USD as of mid-2026, placing it outside the top 2,500 assets by market cap on CoinGecko.
Beyond the fee-waiver mechanic, RocketX documentation references future governance and staking utility for RVF, though these capabilities are described as forward-looking rather than currently live.
Security and Audits
RocketX smart contracts have been audited by Zokyo and Network Intelligence, two blockchain security firms. According to the platform, audits are updated with every major release. The non-custodial architecture limits the attack surface: because user funds flow through user-signed transactions rather than being deposited to a central contract, the principal counterparty risk for most swaps is the underlying DEX or bridge protocol rather than RocketX itself. For CEX-routed swaps, some partner CEXs apply their own AML and KYC policies, which can result in transaction holds in edge cases.
Platform Metrics
RocketX reports having processed more than two billion USD in total volume and more than one million swaps. The platform holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot. The project GitHub organization is at github.com/rocketx-labs.
Solana Ecosystem Fit
Solana is one of the 200+ chains supported by RocketX, meaning Solana-native tokens can be routed through the aggregation engine into assets on any other supported network, and vice versa. Within the Solana ecosystem, Jupiter dominates native DEX aggregation by volume, offering deep integration with Solana-specific AMMs and liquidity programs. RocketX differentiated position relative to Solana-native aggregators is cross-chain reach: it connects Solana liquidity to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and EVM-compatible chains through a single interface rather than optimizing within the Solana ecosystem alone.
For traders who want to move assets between Solana and other major chains without managing separate bridge and DEX steps, or for developers building cross-chain wallets and applications that need a unified API across ecosystems, RocketX hybrid routing model is the relevant use case. The platform Privacy Swaps feature may also attract users who want a reduced on-chain footprint when moving assets involving the Solana network.
