Rekt

Rekt is a mobile-first perpetual futures and prediction markets platform built on Solana by Asymmetra Labs LTD. Launched in 2025 with the explicit goal of making leveraged trading accessible to everyday users, Rekt positions itself as the antidote to the complexity that dominates crypto derivatives — its tagline is "perps trading that does not require 180 IQ."

The project is built around a deceptively simple premise: that the dominant barrier to retail participation in perpetual futures is not capital, but cognitive overhead. Most perps interfaces were designed by and for professional traders, with dense order books, margin calculators, funding rate dashboards, and liquidation engines that presuppose deep market knowledge. Rekt strips that away, framing the experience as social, gamified, and approachable — closer in feel to a competitive mobile game than a trading terminal.

Architecture: Phoenix CLOB, Not an AMM

Despite its consumer-friendly surface, Rekt's underlying architecture is more sophisticated than many comparable apps. Rather than building a proprietary automated market maker (AMM) — the standard path for DEX-native perps — Rekt routes orders through Phoenix, Solana's central-limit order book (CLOB). This matters for several reasons.

Phoenix operates as a fully on-chain order book, meaning trades are matched at discrete price levels with no slippage from AMM curves. Counterparty risk is eliminated because positions are settled on-chain without custody intermediaries. Traders using Rekt access genuine price discovery from Phoenix's established liquidity rather than pricing derived from an AMM's bonding curve, which can diverge meaningfully from spot during volatile periods.

The practical result is that Rekt gives retail traders access to institutional-grade order book infrastructure wrapped in a mobile-native interface. The platform supports leverage up to 500x, though accessible leverage tiers are determined by position size and market conditions. A flat 0.10% fee is charged on the notional value of each position, and the minimum trade size is $1 — a figure designed to make the platform usable regardless of account size.

Prediction Markets via Polymarket and Jupiter

Rekt extends beyond perpetuals by integrating prediction market access through a Polymarket and Jupiter combination. Users can stake on the outcomes of real-world events — elections, sports results, macroeconomic announcements — directly within the Rekt interface, without navigating to Polymarket separately.

Liquidity for these markets is aggregated through Jupiter's routing infrastructure, giving Rekt access to Polymarket's existing market depth. This means Rekt is not building standalone prediction market resolution infrastructure or oracle systems; it is acting as a distribution layer, making Polymarket's established markets accessible to a mobile audience.

The combination of perpetual futures and prediction markets in a single app is relatively unusual. It broadens Rekt's appeal beyond directional traders to include users who are more comfortable staking on event outcomes, and it creates a unified point of entry for speculative activity on Solana.

Gamification and Social Competition

Rekt's differentiation is not primarily technical — it is experiential. The platform is designed to make trading feel like a game, with social competition mechanics sitting at the center of the product vision. Users can compete with friends, earn points, and participate in live trading competitions.

A points system is part of the longer-term roadmap, adding a rewards layer to trading activity. The social competition angle is deliberate: by making it possible to compare performance with friends and participate in structured contests, Rekt attempts to generate the kind of engagement loops common in consumer gaming rather than the utility-maximizing behavior typical of DeFi protocols.

This approach reflects a broader shift in how Solana-native apps are targeting retail users. Where earlier DeFi products competed on fee structure or yield optimization, Rekt competes on experience — the premise being that users who would not ordinarily engage with perpetual futures can be drawn in through a familiar mobile gaming frame.

Solana Mobile Integration

Rekt is available on the Solana dApp Store, Solana Mobile's native application marketplace. This positions it within Solana's hardware-adjacent ecosystem alongside apps optimized for the Saga and Chapter 2 devices, and potentially eligible for seed vault wallet integration and other Solana Mobile native features.

The mobile-first emphasis is reflected in everything about the product: the interface, the minimum trade size, the gamification layer, and the decision to integrate Polymarket rather than build bespoke prediction infrastructure. Rekt is built for a user who has a phone, a small amount of capital, and an appetite for risk — not for a trader managing a professional book across multiple venues.

Asymmetra Labs

Rekt is developed by Asymmetra Labs LTD, which describes its mission as "building instruments for accelerated financial discovery" and frames its work around the idea of asymmetric outcomes for unconventional thinkers. The studio's philosophical bent — "past losses do not guarantee future losses (but they help)" — suggests a team comfortable with risk-taking as a first principle, which aligns with Rekt's positioning at the speculative edge of consumer finance.

Asymmetra Labs operates support through [email protected], and the company's website at asymmetra.xyz currently highlights Rekt as its primary product.

Position in the Solana Perps Landscape

Solana hosts a competitive perpetuals ecosystem that includes Drift Protocol, Flash Trade, Adrena, and several other established venues. These platforms tend to target active traders and offer deep feature sets. Rekt occupies a different market position: it is not trying to win on liquidity depth or fee efficiency relative to these incumbents, but on accessibility and engagement for users who would not otherwise trade perps at all.

By routing through Phoenix, Rekt avoids the technical and liquidity bootstrapping challenges of launching a new order book from scratch. By integrating Jupiter for prediction market access, it avoids building bespoke infrastructure for a second product category. The result is a platform that punches above its size in terms of what it can offer users, while remaining focused on a specific audience: mobile-first traders who want simple, social, and fast.

For Solana, that audience represents a large and largely untapped cohort — users who engage with consumer apps and games but have not yet found a trading product that feels native to how they use their phone. Rekt is one of the more deliberate attempts to reach them.
