Nightly

Nightly is a self-custodial crypto wallet, available as a browser extension and mobile app, that lets one account hold and use assets on Solana and many other blockchains. It started with a strong footing in Solana and Move-based chains and has since grown into a general multichain wallet. Its pitch is a single interface for users who move between ecosystems, not a separate wallet for each chain.

What Nightly does

The official site describes Nightly as "a multichain wallet created for every blockchain." The homepage names Movement, Solana, EVM networks, Bitcoin, Sui, NEAR, Aptos, Polkadot and Aleph Zero as headline chains. Its supported networks page lists more than 60 networks, grouped into SVM chains, EVM chains, Move chains (Aptos, Sui, Movement), Polkadot chains and a handful of others including NEAR, Tezos, Supra, IOTA and Canton. Support keeps expanding: in August and September 2026 the team announced on X that Cardano and Cosmos were live in the wallet.

Nightly is non-custodial. According to the project, private keys are encrypted on the user's device and "never leave your device", with an optional cloud backup for recovery.

Platforms

Nightly runs as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave and Opera, and it is one of the few multichain wallets that also ships a Safari extension. Native apps are on the App Store and Google Play. The team markets the Safari build heavily to Apple users who want the same wallet on desktop and iPhone.

Key features

According to Nightly's features page and blog, the wallet includes:

• Multi-account management. Users can run unlimited accounts and wallets from one interface, import existing seed phrases, and connect hardware wallets. Ledger is the device named in Nightly's materials.
• Social login. New users can sign in with a social account instead of writing down a seed phrase. Keys are encrypted in the app and recovery options are available.
• Built-in swaps. Nightly compares quotes across several DEXs. The project says it charges no fee on top of network costs. The homepage also advertises bridge-free cross-chain swaps between NEAR, Solana and EVM chains.
• Security tooling. The wallet simulates transactions to flag malicious ones, and also offers phishing protection and biometric unlock.
• Auto-Confirm. Described in a 2025 blog post, this mode lets users skip repeated signing pop-ups for apps they have marked as trusted, for a time window they choose. It covers Solana, Sonic SVM, Sui, Aptos and Movement. It is aimed at high-frequency activity such as trading and on-chain games, where every confirmation adds friction.
• Earn features. The homepage advertises staking and lending from inside the wallet. In August 2026 Nightly described an integration with Osero Earn that routes idle stablecoins to yield based on the Sky Savings Rate.
• NFTs. A gallery view lets users browse, manage and transfer NFT collections.

Nightly on Solana

On Solana, Nightly's Solana page lists native SPL token support, built-in swaps, NFT viewing, Ledger support and connections to common dApps such as DEXs, NFT marketplaces and liquid staking protocols. Nightly also supports other SVM networks. Beyond Sonic SVM, the team says it is fully integrated with Fogo, the SVM-based Layer 1 that launched its mainnet in early 2026.

For developers, the team publishes a Solana wallet adapter on GitHub under the nightly-labs organisation. It also built Nightly Connect, a wallet-selector and remote-connection toolkit. Connect lets a dApp show a modal of detected extension wallets, or pair with a mobile wallet by scanning a QR code tied to a session ID. It could run as a standalone selector or alongside the standard Solana wallet adapter via the @nightlylabs/wallet-selector-solana package. The Nightly Connect documentation now says the project is deprecated and no longer maintained, so new integrations should use the standard wallet adapter instead.

Team and background

Nightly comes from the team behind Synthetify Labs, a Poland-based Web3 studio. Synthetify Labs' product listing names Nightly Wallet as a flagship product alongside Neony, a perpetuals exchange. Norbert Bodziony is listed as Nightly's founder and CEO of Synthetify Labs. Synthetify was an early Solana DeFi project focused on synthetic assets, which helps explain why Solana was one of Nightly's first supported chains.

Adoption and security

Nightly reports more than 1,000,000 unique users, about 30,000 weekly unique users and around $1 billion in secured assets. These figures are self-reported on its homepage and have not been independently verified. Its X account has more than 200,000 followers.

We found no public third-party security audit of the wallet in Nightly's official materials or independent coverage. The security claims above come from the project itself.

Status

Nightly is actively maintained as of September 2026. The team publishes regularly on its blog, with recent posts on Fogo, on-chain cashback and tokenized Bitcoin, and posts frequently on X, where it has announced new chain integrations and ecosystem partnerships in recent weeks.
