MetaKeep

How It Works

Behind the scenes, MetaKeep's wallets are backed by FIPS 140-2 Level 3 Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). The model is self-custodial — MetaKeep does not hold keys on behalf of users, and the company cannot access funds — while the user experience resembles a simple email-linked account. Even if a user loses their device, the wallet persists and is recoverable.

Solana Integration and Lambda Engine
MetaKeep provides first-class support for Solana through its Solana Lambda product, a runtime and API layer that allows developers to deploy smart contracts and execute transactions at enterprise scale without managing the underlying operational complexity.
Solana Lambda handles gas abstraction completely: neither the application developer nor the end user needs to hold SOL to pay transaction fees or account rent. MetaKeep covers those costs and invoices developers monthly. Solana Devnet usage remains perpetually free. The platform targets approximately 65,000 peak transactions per second in throughput, backed by redundant infrastructure across QuickNode, Alchemy, and reserved nodes, with a stated reliability target of 99.999% uptime.
Intelligent fee management is built in. AI and statistical models dynamically price priority fees to keep transactions competitive during network congestion, with automatic surge protection against fee volatility. The system also handles nonce management, transaction retries, parallelization, and third-party RPC outages autonomously — removing the operational overhead that typically makes enterprise blockchain deployments expensive to maintain.
For EVM chains, MetaKeep offers an analogous EVM Lambda service supporting smart contract invocation, batch operations, and transaction import. Both Lambda products work transparently with already-deployed contracts, requiring no contract modifications.

MetaKeep was co-founded by Naga Samineni and Rohan Sharma.
