LootGO
LootGO is a location-based walk-to-earn mobile game that rewards players with sponsor-funded cryptocurrency for physical movement, operating as an official launch partner of the Solana Mobile Seeker.
What LootGO Is
Founded in February 2025, LootGO combines the geolocation mechanics of Pokémon GO with crypto reward distribution. Players walk to earn treasure chests, which they open to claim tokens, NFTs, and raffle tickets sourced from brand partnerships rather than a native inflationary token. The app is available on iOS and Google Play, with no upfront purchase required to begin playing.
The core loop is simple: every 1,000 steps converts to one treasure chest, which appears on the player's in-app map. Chests come in four rarity tiers — Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary — each requiring a corresponding unlock window (10 minutes to 12 hours). Players can hold up to four chest slots simultaneously, with the capacity expandable through the COMPASS genesis NFT.
Reward Mechanics
LootGO's central design principle is avoiding the failure mode that has killed most move-to-earn applications: issuing a native token, watching the price collapse as users farm and sell, and losing the player base as rewards devalue. Instead, the platform aggregates reward capital from sponsor campaigns run by crypto projects and brands that want geo-targeted user acquisition.
The primary in-game currency is Gems. Players accumulate gems through steps, daily card draws, referrals, and other activities. Gems convert at 1,000 gems to $0.10 in redemption value and can be exchanged for raffle tickets entering sponsor pools.
Reward pools operate at three levels:
- Weekly Pools: Tiered distribution across 35 winners, with first place receiving 40% of the pool and descending allocations from there.
- Sponsor Pools: Partner-funded raffles distributing partner tokens, NFT whitelists, ecosystem points, and other assets. LootGO has run campaigns with $BONK that distributed over $70,000 in rewards, and completed seventeen consecutive weekly raffles with hardware wallet provider SafePal.
- Daily Rewards: A card-draw system where players spend 10 gems plus an advertisement view for variable gem returns.
This model allows LootGO to position itself as a location-based marketing platform. Sponsors fund reward pools because LootGO can track the full consumer journey — from initial app discovery through physical store visit to on-chain payment — an attribution chain that traditional digital advertising cannot close.
COMPASS Genesis NFT
LootGO's primary monetization mechanism is the COMPASS utility NFT, which launched on Monad mainnet. COMPASS is non-custodial and activates when transferred to the player's in-game wallet. Four rarity tiers provide increasing reward multipliers: Rare (1.5×), Epic (1.6×), Legendary (1.8×), and Mythic (2.0×).
COMPASS holders receive stacked benefits depending on how many they hold. A single COMPASS adds five energy capacity slots and reduces energy regeneration from two hours per unit to one hour. Holding three raises the energy cap from the default five to twenty-five and cuts regeneration to one hour per unit. Five COMPASS NFTs push the maximum energy to thirty and regeneration to once every twenty minutes. Additional perks include extra treasure chest slots, expanded daily step caps (up to 40,000), exclusive raffle access, no reward advertisements, and a visible OG frame on the in-game map and leaderboard.
The contract address on Monad is 0xa3522ea57c0bc48e602e2fe9f3929309d9618d96. COMPASS trades on MagicEden and OpenSea.
Solana Ecosystem Integration
LootGO's most prominent Solana touchpoint is its partnership with Solana Mobile as an official launch partner of the Seeker. During Seeker Summer Round 3 in August 2026, LootGO hosted two dedicated quests for Seeker device holders: "Loot Goblin" (open five loot boxes) and "Boost Seeker" (buy and deploy one SKR Booster on the map). Completing these quests earned a Seeker Summer badge distributed through the Seed Vault wallet.
The SKR Booster mechanic, integrated for the Seeker Summer campaign, lets players purchase and place location-based reward boosters on the map, adding a social layer to the treasure hunt and providing Seeker holders a reason to open LootGO specifically on their Solana Mobile device.
Beyond Solana Mobile, LootGO has run reward campaigns for Solana ecosystem projects including $BONK and MonkeDAO, and has established working relationships with communities across the Solana and Monad ecosystems. The team won the Mobile Track at Solana Colosseum and reached the finalist round of Monad Madness.
Team and Background
LootGO's founding team carries prior enterprise experience in Japan, having worked with Japan Airlines, Tokyu Corporation, and Japan Railways on location-based programs. The advisory bench includes former game designers from Pokémon GO and Axie Infinity. Strategic angels include the co-founder of ETHGlobal and Superteam leads from Japan, Singapore, and Canada. Specific founder names are not publicly disclosed in the project's documentation.
Security and Audits
LootGO uses a non-custodial embedded wallet architecture: the platform states it cannot access or touch user funds directly. No third-party security audits are disclosed in the current documentation. The COMPASS NFT contract on Monad is publicly verifiable at the address above, but no audit report for that contract has been published.
Context and Positioning
Location-based advertising is a large and growing market, projected to expand from $120 billion in 2023 to roughly $300 billion by 2030. LootGO's argument is that crypto rails — fast settlement, programmable payments, on-chain attribution — let it offer advertisers something mobile-first platforms like Google Maps and Foursquare cannot: verified, transaction-level proof of consumer behavior in exchange for a specific reward.
For Solana specifically, LootGO represents one of the few mobile-native applications in the ecosystem that requires users to physically move rather than stay at a desk. The Seeker integration positions it as a flagship application for the Solana Mobile hardware line, bridging on-chain incentives with real-world foot traffic in a format accessible to users unfamiliar with DeFi mechanics.
