GameFi.org
Web3 Launchpad for Games, AI, and RWA — powered by GAFI staking tiers and IGO fundraising.

GameFi.org
GameFi.org is a Web3 launchpad and gaming hub founded in August 2021 by Icetea Labs, a Vietnam-based blockchain incubator, with early backing from DAO Maker, Animoca Brands, Morningstar Ventures, and Polygon. The platform was built to consolidate the fragmented blockchain gaming ecosystem under one roof, combining fundraising infrastructure, a game aggregator, an NFT marketplace, and community tooling into a single destination for players, investors, and game studios.
What GameFi.org Does
At its core, GameFi.org operates as an Initial Game Offering (IGO) launchpad — it was among the first platforms to pioneer the IGO model, which extends the IDO format specifically to blockchain gaming projects. Studios seeking early funding can raise through Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs), Initial NFT Offerings (INOs), or IGOs, with GameFi.org providing project verification, marketing support, and community access in exchange for a share of the raise. Users who stake the native GAFI token gain access to these fundraising rounds and receive allocations proportional to their staking tier.
By the end of 2023, the platform had conducted more than 90 IDOs and INOs, raising approximately $13 million across its launch history. The platform's best performers delivered an average all-time-high ROI of 45x, though individual outcomes varied significantly across the portfolio. Notable launches included Drunk Robots, Rebel Bots, Spellfire, Uforika, and Heroverse — all products of Icetea Labs' incubation network.
The GAFI Token and Staking Tiers
GAFI is the ecosystem's utility and governance token, with a total supply of 14.95 million tokens. Holders stake GAFI to unlock one of five launchpad access tiers: Rookie, Elite, Pro, Pro Max, and Legend. The first three tiers compete for allocations through a lottery, while Pro Max and Legend holders receive guaranteed allocations in each launch. A loyalty point system accrues points at 0.5% of staked amount per day, determining upgrade eligibility between tiers. Unstaking requires cooldown periods ranging from 12 to 72 hours depending on tier level.
Beyond launchpad access, GAFI provides trading fee discounts, governance rights for platform parameter decisions, and yield from the GameFi Earn product — a savings feature offering flexible and fixed-rate staking pools.
Product Suite
GameFi.org expanded well beyond its launchpad origins. The Game Hub aggregates data on 1,000+ blockchain games, covering tokenomics, game modes, studio backgrounds, and IGO event schedules. A unified NFT Marketplace allows cross-game item and virtual land trading. The Guild Hub connects casual players with scholarship opportunities, a model popularized during the 2021-2022 play-to-earn boom when guilds delegated NFT assets to players in exchange for revenue splits. DMission, built on the TaskFi Protocol, is an engage-to-earn product that rewards users for completing off-chain tasks.
GAFI 2.0: Expansion into Bitcoin and Premium Launches
In January 2024, GameFi.org announced the GAFI 2.0 initiative, its most significant architectural expansion. The upgrade introduced two distinct sub-products:
CONCHA is a gaming-focused Layer 3 built on Bitcoin, using a zkEVM architecture constructed on Polygon CDK with Celestia providing data availability. The ambition is to enable fully on-chain games (FOCGs) with deeper decentralization guarantees than existing gaming chains. Its testnet went live in February 2024, supported by the Vietnam Onchain Gaming Alliance (VOGA).
CATIA is a premium launchpad sub-brand within GameFi.org designed to select and incubate fewer, higher-quality projects than the standard IGO pipeline. CATIA launches are positioned as infrequent and exclusive, targeting institutional-grade game studios.
The GAFI 2.0 announcement also outlined a token migration at a 1:100 conversion ratio, though the full migration timeline has not been publicly confirmed.
Market Context and Current State
GameFi.org entered the market at the height of the play-to-earn mania in late 2021, when GAFI reached an all-time high of $351.70 in November of that year. The token has since declined sharply alongside the broader sector collapse: as of mid-2026, GAFI trades near $0.10 with a market cap of approximately $1.5 million, representing a drawdown of more than 99% from peak.
The GameFi sector broadly experienced a severe contraction. Industry data shows that approximately 93% of GameFi projects became inactive by 2025-2026, with funding falling roughly 85% from its 2022 peak. GameFi.org itself remained operational through this period — the platform is online and GAFI continues to trade on major exchanges — though public announcement cadence slowed markedly after the GAFI 2.0 launch in early 2024. The platform's docs subdomain has been discontinued, and social activity is sparse relative to the 2021-2022 peak when it maintained 2.4 million Telegram subscribers.
Despite a reduced profile, GameFi.org retains its position as one of the earlier-established Web3 gaming launchpads with a verified track record of 90+ completed raises. Its pivot toward AI and real-world assets (signaled in its updated tagline: "Game - AI - RWA") and CONCHA's on-chain gaming infrastructure represent attempts to reposition ahead of the next cycle of blockchain gaming adoption.
