Dungeon Dot Cash

Dungeon Dot Cash is a decentralized, AI-powered role-playing game on Solana where real tokens are characters and players compete for their opponents liquidity by commanding an AI Dungeon Master through text prompts. The project emerged from the first-ever Solana AI Hackathon in January 2025, where it won first place in the Agent Token Tooling track.

How It Works

The core premise inverts the usual relationship between gaming and token speculation. In most crypto games, in-game assets are tied to a native token. In Dungeon Dot Cash, real Solana-traded tokens are the characters themselves. A token's fortunes inside the game are tied to its on-chain liquidity, which becomes the resource players fight over.

Players interact with the game through an AI Dungeon Master, the game's arbiter and narrative engine. To gain an advantage, a player crafts prompts directed at the DM, attempting to convince it to move liquidity toward their chosen token by directing attacks against rival tokens. The outcome of each exchange is determined by the DM's AI, making prompt quality and strategic framing central to competitive play. As the project stated on social media: "the real tokens are characters in our game, convince the DM to move liquidity to your token by prompting attacks."

This design places Dungeon Dot Cash squarely within the Agent Token Tooling category, a class of Solana projects focused on using AI agents to launch, manage, and route token liquidity through automated or semi-automated systems. The project frames itself using "OPOS + AI," referencing the ecosystem's "Only Possible on Solana" identity alongside its AI-driven mechanics.

Hackathon Origins

Dungeon Dot Cash was founded in December 2024 and emerged publicly through SendAI's inaugural Solana AI Hackathon, held in January 2025. The event attracted more than 400 project submissions across multiple tracks covering DeFi and trading agents, oracle tools, investment DAOs, gaming, and agent token tooling. Of those, 21 projects were named winners, sharing more than 275,000 USD in prizes and 3.3 million SEND tokens.

Dungeon Dot Cash won first place in the Agent Token Tooling track, earning 15,000 USD. The track was designed for teams building tools that let AI agents manage a token's full lifecycle, from fair launches and liquidity provision through locking and stake-to-earn structures. Dungeon Dot Cash's approach stood out by embedding those mechanics inside a game layer, where players' AI-prompted decisions drive the movement of liquidity rather than traditional financial inputs.

Pre-Launch Status

As of this writing, Dungeon Dot Cash has not launched on mainnet and has not issued a token. The official website at dungeon.cash operates as a pre-launch waitlist page, inviting users to connect their Solana wallet to receive notification when the game goes live.

In January 2026, the team posted updates indicating the UI had been revised in preparation for launch and that Season One was approaching. They also issued a warning to the community about scam tokens impersonating the project, emphasizing that no official Dungeon Dot Cash token had been released and that any such tokens circulating were fraudulent.

The project maintains an active presence on X as @DungeonDotCash, where it had accumulated more than 7,500 followers ahead of launch.

Ecosystem Position

Dungeon Dot Cash occupies an unusual intersection of AI agent tooling and on-chain gaming on Solana. Most Solana gaming projects build around NFT assets or play-to-earn rewards denominated in a native token. Dungeon Dot Cash instead treats existing tokens as playable assets and uses an AI layer to govern competitive outcomes, making it structurally closer to a liquidity management protocol with a game interface than to a conventional blockchain game.

Whether that design holds up at scale remains to be seen, as the project had not run a live season as of this writing. But its hackathon performance signals that the mechanic resonated with developers and evaluators focused on the application of AI agents to token infrastructure on Solana.
