Due Global Accounts
Due Global Accounts is a multi-currency digital account system that enables users to hold, send, receive, and exchange stablecoins like USDC and EURC. Users can deposit funds through bank transfers, mobile money, or direct crypto deposits, and access virtual account numbers in multiple currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, MXN, NGN, and AED for receiving payments.
Due
Due is a global cross-border payments platform founded in London in September 2022 with the tagline "Money beyond borders." Built on open, decentralized settlement networks and regulated stablecoins, Due enables instant international transfers, multi-currency accounts, and a developer-facing payments API across more than 80 countries at a fraction of the cost of traditional correspondent banking.
What Due Does
At its core, Due connects local fiat payment rails — SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, PIX, and mobile money networks — to a stablecoin settlement layer, allowing users and businesses to send and receive money globally without the delays and fees of legacy intermediaries. Users can hold multi-currency accounts, transact in USDC, USDT, and EURC, and pay out to local bank accounts in the recipient's currency within 24 hours (or receive instant USDC settlement). Cross-border processing fees run 0.5–1%, compared to an industry standard of 4–6%.
Due's wallets are non-custodial: cryptographic keys are held by the user, and transactions are signed biometrically or with standard crypto-wallet credentials. The platform incorporates automated KYC/AML compliance, making it regulated-market ready out of the box. Due holds financial registrations in Canada (FINTRAC), Spain (as a Crypto Assets Service Provider under MiCA authorization from the CNMV, granted March 2026), Brazil, and the United States.
Multi-Chain Settlement Architecture
Due was designed from the outset as a chain-agnostic settlement layer. Rather than tying liquidity to any single blockchain, the platform routes settlement across whichever network offers the best combination of speed, cost, and stablecoin liquidity for a given transaction. As of mid-2026, supported settlement chains include Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Starknet, Stable, Tron, Solana, and BNB Chain.
Solana was added to the network in March 2026. Due cited Solana's $14 billion stablecoin market cap (up more than 75% year-over-year through late January 2026), sub-$0.001 transaction fees, and approximately 0.4-second confirmation times as the core rationale — material advantages over Ethereum mainnet for high-frequency payment flows. The Solana integration supports USDC, USDT, and EURC, and connects to fiat on-ramps via SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, and PIX. Institutional adoption of Solana by Visa (running global USDC settlements) and JPMorgan (issuing commercial paper on-chain via Galaxy Digital) reinforced the network's readiness for enterprise payment corridors.
Stablecoin Payments API
In July 2025, Due launched a dedicated Stablecoin Payments API aimed at fintechs, crypto platforms, banks, and payment service providers that want to embed cross-border stablecoin infrastructure without building it themselves. The API provides:
- Stablecoin swaps (USDC, USDT, EURC) at zero slippage
- Fiat collection via PIX, ACH, and SEPA with automatic stablecoin conversion
- Payouts to local bank accounts across more than 80 countries
- Virtual account generation (including named EUR virtual accounts, live as of July 2026)
- Bulk payouts and payout links for payroll, vendor, and remittance use cases
- Real-time FX rate locking and webhook-driven settlement notifications
- White-label and embedded wallet options
The API is positioned as a single integration point for multi-currency, multi-rail, multi-chain payment operations, with FX conversion locked at mid-market rates. Due charges 0.5–1% on cross-border flows. The infrastructure is SOC 2 certified, and KYB/KYC onboarding is automated within the API flow.
Target verticals include international payroll providers, trading operations moving treasury across regions, remittance platforms serving Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, Web3 on/off-ramp providers, and traditional banks or payment processors seeking stablecoin settlement rails.
Markets and Partners
Due launched publicly in November 2023 with initial coverage of Nigeria, the US, Europe, and the UK, prioritizing high-volume remittance corridors where correspondent banking friction is steepest. By mid-2025 coverage had expanded to 80+ countries, with local teams operating in Lagos, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Madrid, Warsaw, Cape Town, and New York in addition to the London headquarters.
Key partners include Coinbase, Bitso, YellowCard, Bitstamp, Bridge, Elliptic, and Sumsub — spanning on/off-ramp infrastructure, stablecoin distribution, compliance tooling, and identity verification.
Team and Funding
Due was co-founded by Robert Sargsian (CEO) and Alex Popov (CTO). Sargsian previously worked in revenue and crypto at Revolut and in product strategy at Bolt; the founding thesis grew out of direct experience with the cost and opacity of traditional international money movement.
The company raised a $3.3 million seed round in November 2023 led by Fabric Ventures and Semantic Capital, with participation from Polymorphic Capital, BlockTower, and angels from Argent, Bolt, and Revolut. In July 2025, Due closed a $7.3 million seed extension led by Speedinvest, with Discovery Ventures and Strobe Ventures also participating. The extension funded the launch of the Stablecoin Payments API and expansion of compliance and engineering teams across its eight offices.
Current Status
Due is operational and actively expanding its network. The blog has been updated through July 2026, with posts covering the BNB Chain integration, named EUR virtual accounts, MiCA regulatory authorization in Spain, and ongoing commentary on stablecoin compliance frameworks for fintech builders. The company continues to add settlement chains, deepen local payment rail integrations, and grow its regulated entity footprint across jurisdictions.
