Decimated

Decimated is a survival game for PC, set on a ruined future Earth. The studio Fracture Labs builds it in Unreal Engine 5. You play online in an open world as a human citizen, a cyborg cop or a wasteland marauder. You fight other players and AI enemies, run missions and drive vehicles.

It is also a crypto game. Its money, DIO, is a token on Solana. Players can earn it, spend it in the game's shop and stake it.

As of October 2026, the official site says the game is in open alpha and still being built. You can get it on PC from the Epic Games Store. Steam, console and mobile versions are planned.

How Decimated gameplay works: factions, missions and vehicles

Decimated is a PvPvE game. That means you face other players and AI enemies in the same world. You pick one of three sides, then earn your way up through missions, loot and trade.

The story is set on an Earth that people left after hundreds of years of climate damage. The game's About page describes lost cities, now covered by jungle and swamp. Players hunt for parts, fix vehicles, build bases, collect bounties and trade.

The open alpha notes from December 2024 listed 150 missions. They come in three types: delivery runs, races and scouting trips. The notes also listed more than 30 vehicles and more than 20 weapons. A safe zone called the Trader Outpost lets you meet and trade with no fighting.

A July 2025 update added squads, voice chat with nearby players, and a way to revive a downed teammate. It also added melee weapons, plus AI raiders and gangs that attack on sight.

Decimated release date: Epic Games Store, Steam and console

Decimated has no full release date. The game has been in open alpha since late December 2024, and Fracture Labs has not said when it will leave alpha.

You can download it today from the Epic Games Store. The Steam page lists the game as an Early Access title that is "coming soon", with no date. It names Fracture Labs as both developer and publisher. The official site says Steam, console and mobile versions are planned. It gives no dates for PS5, Xbox or mobile.

Fracture Labs said in September 2026 that about 400,000 people had signed up for the alpha. It also reported a peak day of 12,000 players online at once. Those are the studio's own figures.

Decimated system requirements on PC

Decimated needs a fairly strong gaming PC. The Steam listing asks for Windows 10 (64-bit), DirectX 12 and 25 GB of storage.

An alpha build can run worse than these numbers suggest, so treat the right-hand column as the real target.

DIO token: what the Decimated crypto is used for

DIO is the money of Decimated. It is a normal Solana token: DIO. Players use it to buy things in the game's shop, such as characters, vehicles and skins. They can also win it as a reward, then claim it to their own Solana wallet.

No more than 1 billion DIO can exist, per CoinMarketCap's listing. Price trackers do not agree on how many of those tokens are in use, so we do not quote a number. The live price and trade data are in the widgets on this page.

The game also has Credits, a second balance that stays inside the game. The invite scheme shows how the two differ. You earn 1,000 Credits when a friend you invited completes a mission. You earn 100 DIO when that friend buys something in the shop.

Fracture Labs also lists a Genesis Collection of avatars that are stored on Solana.

DIO staking and rewards: how players earn

DIO rewards in Decimated now depend on how much players spend in the game. In its September 2026 update, Fracture Labs says leaderboard rewards "scale to real activity rather than empty emissions".

The change dates to April 2026. Gaming site eGamers reported on 17 April 2026 that the game had stopped paying rewards from newly issued tokens. It quoted the studio's summary: "No spend = no rewards / More activity = more rewards / No inflation."

In plain terms, the DIO you can earn depends on what other players spend. If the shop is quiet, rewards shrink.

The official site also has a staking panel for DIO. Staking means you lock your tokens for a time to earn more of them. You can stake, claim rewards and unstake there. A "force unstake" button lets you leave early, but the site warns that you lose all pending rewards. We could not find a current official page that states the rates or lock times, so we quote none here.

Who Decimated is for

Decimated suits PC players who like open-world survival shooters and are happy to test a game that is not finished. You need a recent graphics card. You should also expect bugs, balance changes and the chance of a progress reset.

You can play without holding DIO. The token matters if you want to buy shop items or chase leaderboard rewards.

It is a poor fit if you play on console or mobile, since those versions have no date. It is also a poor fit if you want steady income from playing. Rewards depend on what other players spend, and the game is still in alpha.

Is Decimated legit? Risks to weigh

Decimated is a real game that you can download, made by a named studio. Fracture Labs was still posting updates in October 2026. The main risks are slow progress, a small token and thin documents.

• The game has been in alpha since late 2024. A May 2022 press release was titled "Decimated Launching Soon on Steam". Steam still shows "coming soon".
• DIO is a small token with thin trading, so its price can move sharply. Check the live figures on this page.
• The whitepaper and token pages on the official site returned "not found" errors when we checked on 7 October 2026. That leaves the token split, unlock dates and staking terms with no current official source.
• We found no public audit of the staking system or the shop. We also found no published on-chain addresses for them, so we could not check who controls them. Shop purchases are tied to a game account that Fracture Labs runs.
• The studio's time is now split. Its two newest launches are not part of the game.

Fracture Labs: team, funding and new projects

Fracture Labs is the studio that makes Decimated. Its staff work from Europe and South America. The team page names Stephen Arnold as the creative lead and lists a team of artists and Unreal Engine coders.

A May 2024 notice on HackerNoon said the studio had won an Epic MegaGrant and raised $3.5 million. It named Mechanism Capital, Spartan Capital and Polygon Ventures among the backers. The same notice said the game went up on the Epic Games Store that month.

In September 2026 Fracture Labs launched two new products. Gaming SZN is a site that helps you find Solana games. It shows live token prices too. Game Foundry came next, at the end of that month. It is a set of tools that run in a web browser. They help small game makers with art, sound and code, and some of them use AI.
