CoinsPaid
CoinsPaid — operating commercially as CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid — is an enterprise crypto payment gateway that has been processing digital assets for businesses since 2014. Founded in Tallinn, Estonia, the company builds blockchain-based payment infrastructure aimed at merchants, financial institutions, and platform operators that need to accept, hold, convert, and pay out cryptocurrency at scale. In 2024 the platform processed EUR 9.1 billion across more than 800,000 monthly transactions, generating EUR 32.4 million in revenue with profit margins above 50%.
What It Does
CoinsPaid functions as a custodial payment processor. Merchants integrate via API or dashboard; customers send crypto to addresses generated by the platform; CoinsPaid confirms receipt on-chain, credits the merchant balance, and — if instructed — converts the amount to fiat or another cryptocurrency for settlement. The gateway handles the full custody lifecycle: address generation, transaction monitoring, balance management, conversion, and payout. No direct user wallet is required on the merchant side.
The company serves more than 500 active online casino clients, and iGaming accounts for over 70% of its revenue. That concentration shapes the product: instant settlement, zero chargebacks (a structural property of on-chain crypto payments), and automated KYC/AML screening built around Chainalysis and Crystal Blockchain are prominent selling points for regulated gambling operators. Named clients include 7Bit Casino, King Billy, PlayAmo, Joo Casino, GunsBet, iWild Casino, and Vavada.
Products
CoinsPaid Enterprise is the company flagship for financial institutions and large operators. It provides a ready-to-launch digital asset processing platform with integrated merchant management, settlement, reconciliation, and compliance tooling — suited to organisations that need to offer crypto services to their own clients rather than simply accept payments.
CoinsPaid Core targets businesses building their own wallet, custody, or payment products on top of CoinsPaid infrastructure. It offers full key control and granular transaction permissions, making it more suitable for fintech developers than for direct merchants.
CryptoProcessing API (documented at docs.cryptoprocessing.com) exposes deposit address generation, withdrawal submission, payment-link generation with rate locking, exchange between crypto and fiat, and mass payouts to multiple recipients across currencies. Webhooks notify merchant systems when transactions complete, with balances updating after the required on-chain confirmations for each network.
Crypto PoS terminals extend the offering to physical retail, letting brick-and-mortar merchants accept crypto at point of sale.
CPD token is CoinsPaid's native token, used primarily for fee discounts. Holders receive up to 50% reductions on processing fees, creating a loyalty incentive for high-volume clients.
Supported Assets
CoinsPaid supports over 140 cryptocurrencies for send and receive operations. Assets actively processed for business payment flows include Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, SOL (Solana), ADA, XRP, DOGE, TRX, and LTC. The platform has added layer-2 networks, with Arbitrum and Base available to reduce transaction costs on Ethereum-based flows. Merchants can settle in more than 40 fiat currencies via automated crypto-to-fiat conversion.
Solana Integration
Solana (SOL) is a supported payment currency within the CoinsPaid gateway. Merchants can accept SOL deposits and route them through the same settlement and payout workflows available for other supported assets. CoinsPaid maintains a dedicated product page for Solana acceptance, reflecting active support rather than incidental listing. Solana's low block times and low transaction fees make it an operationally attractive option within a multi-chain payment stack, and CoinsPaid surfaces it as a selectable payment method for merchant customers.
Security and Audit Status
CoinsPaid holds two significant security certifications. ISO 27001 certification, issued by Bureau Veritas, covers the company's information security management system. In 2026, CryptoProcessing by CoinsPaid achieved CCSS Level 3, the highest certification available under the Cryptocurrency Security Standard (CCSS) as defined by the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4). The independent audit was conducted by Hacken, a C4-approved cybersecurity firm, with assessment beginning in Q4 2025. The CCSS Level 3 scope covered key generation and wallet creation, secure key storage and backup, access management, transaction authorization, logging and monitoring, risk management, and key compromise procedures. Operational reserves are held in Ledger Enterprise cold storage.
The company's security history includes two serious breaches. In July 2023, North Korea's Lazarus Group stole USD 37.3 million from CoinsPaid operational reserves after a six-month infiltration campaign combining social engineering, DDoS, and brute-force attacks before exploiting a vulnerability in the company's cluster. In January 2024, a second Lazarus-attributed attack extracted a further USD 7.5 million. In both incidents CoinsPaid stated that client funds were unaffected — losses came from the company's own reserves — a claim the company attributes to its segregated custody architecture. The FBI confirmed Lazarus Group attribution for the first attack. The CCSS Level 3 certification is positioned by the company as the formal culmination of its post-breach security overhaul.
Team and Background
CoinsPaid was founded in 2014 with Max Krupyshev serving as Executive Leader. The company operates under Dream Finance OÜ (registered in Estonia as Coinspaid Solutions OÜ) with more than 200 employees across five continents. It received 19 industry awards in 2024, including Best Payment Provider at the European iGaming Excellence awards.
Licensing and Regulatory Status
CoinsPaid held Estonian virtual currency service provider licence FVT000166. That licence lapsed on 1 July 2026 when the MiCA regulatory framework transitional period concluded across the European Union. Lithuanian operations were separately suspended in January 2026. As of mid-2026 the company operates in restricted-activity mode while a MiCA CASP (Crypto-Asset Service Provider) application is under review at Estonia's Finantsinspektsioon. Merchants evaluating the platform should verify current licensing status before onboarding.
Fit in the Solana Ecosystem
CoinsPaid operates at the layer of crypto-to-commerce adoption. By supporting SOL alongside dozens of other assets within a single API integration, it gives Solana a route into the merchant payment stack without requiring merchants to manage Solana custody, address derivation, or on-chain transaction handling independently. For iGaming operators in particular — where settlement speed has direct operational value — CoinsPaid provides a compliance-wrapped, CCSS-certified path to accepting SOL from players globally. The platform does not build on Solana on-chain program architecture; it is an off-chain, custodial gateway that routes and settles Solana payments as one leg of a broader multi-chain offering.
