bloXroute Labs

Founded in 2017, the company built its Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN) to move transactions and block data across a globally distributed set of high-capacity relays faster than the public internet alone allows. The practical effect is reduced latency and lower variance in when a transaction lands — measured in milliseconds, but consequential for anyone who competes to execute first.
The Blockchain Distribution Network
The BDN is bloXroute's core product and the substrate everything else is built on. It operates as a private relay layer: transactions submitted through bloXroute are routed through geographically distributed nodes that maintain persistent, high-bandwidth connections optimized for minimal hops. Public peer-to-peer gossip protocols propagate data across the entire network on every step; the BDN takes a more direct path.
For Solana specifically, the network's value shows up in two places. First, transaction submission: a bot or trading firm routes its transaction through bloXroute's gateway, which delivers it to validators more reliably and in less time than relying on Solana's native gossip. Second, data access: bloXroute's data streams surface mempool activity — pending transactions, swaps in flight — before blocks are confirmed, giving latency-sensitive strategies a window to act.
The company supports Solana alongside Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Hyperliquid, X-Layer, Monad, and TON. Not every product is available on every chain, but the cross-chain presence reflects that the BDN architecture translates across proof-of-stake networks with active trading communities.

Bundle submission follows the same logic. bloXroute accepts bundles and routes them to block builders and validators who can include multiple transactions atomically, which matters for MEV strategies that require transaction ordering guarantees.
bloXroute's documentation notes that the network can deliver transactions faster, but that on-chain execution quality depends on separate factors: compute budget configuration, priority fee levels, and program-level correctness. The propagation service is a speed advantage, not a correctness guarantee.
Data Streams
bloXroute publishes real-time streams for mempool transactions, blocks, swaps, and shred data. For algorithmic traders and market makers, the mempool feed surfaces pending order flow before it settles — information useful for adjusting positions, detecting arbitrage, or measuring execution conditions.
Shred data is Solana-specific. Validators produce shreds (fragments of block data) as they process transactions; receiving shreds earlier means a faster view of what's about to land on-chain. bloXroute distributes shred streams with lower latency than the base gossip layer.
Shreds Premium Region
In April 2026, bloXroute launched a Shreds Premium Region service, beginning with a Toronto endpoint powered by [[PROJECT:854]] infrastructure. Figment controls over 10% of staked SOL, making its validators a significant block producer. By connecting shred distribution directly to Figment's validator cluster, bloXroute reduces the propagation delay between when shreds are produced and when a subscriber receives them. The service targets trading firms, market makers, and MEV searchers for whom microsecond advantages translate to execution edge.
Validator Solutions
bloXroute offers tools aimed at Solana validators seeking to capture MEV revenue while managing the order flow they receive. The exact mechanics center on private channels that protect certain transaction flows from being front-run and routing configurations that let validators selectively accept bundles. This positions bloXroute in a space Jito also occupies — providing MEV infrastructure to both the extraction side (searchers) and the sequencing side (validators).
Pricing Model
bloXroute moved to a modular pricing structure in March 2026, replacing its previous tiered bundle approach. The old model — Enterprise, Elite, and Ultra — required customers to buy fixed capability packages; a team that needed expanded mempool capacity but not additional tracing had no way to buy only what it used.
Under the new structure, customers select individual services per chain: gateways, data streams, transaction propagation, and optional advanced features such as state diffs or private routing. All users can submit transactions on supported chains at no base fee, subject to rate limits. Enterprise, Elite, and Ultra subscribers retain their existing pricing; Professional tier customers transition to the modular options at renewal.
The freemium entry point lets teams test integration before committing to paid tiers, while long-term contracts lock in reduced rates for production deployments.
Who Uses It
The primary audience is latency-sensitive: trading bots, MEV searchers, algorithmic trading firms, and market makers who compete on execution speed. A second group is infrastructure-adjacent — wallet providers and application developers who want more reliable transaction delivery without building custom relay infrastructure.
Validators are a smaller but distinct segment. bloXroute's validator tools offer a way to optimize fee capture and manage exposure to MEV without requiring validators to build their own bundle-acceptance logic.
bloXroute's documentation is candid about the service boundary: the BDN speeds propagation, but it does not change the on-chain outcome of a badly structured transaction. Teams using the service still need to calibrate priority fees and compute budgets correctly — fast delivery of a poorly configured transaction loses to a well-structured one arriving slightly later.
Context on Solana
Latency competition on Solana is structural. Slot times are short, blocks fill quickly during periods of congestion, and many of the most active trading strategies depend on being processed within a narrow window. The BDN is one approach to that problem; colocation, direct validator relationships, and priority fee auctions are others. bloXroute positions itself as complementary to on-chain fee mechanisms rather than a replacement for them.
