Solana's RWA Ecosystem Hits $4 Billion in Total Value for the First Time

Solana SOL$101.32+0.1% announced on August 23 that its real-world asset ecosystem had crossed $4 billion in total value for the first time, according to the official Solana account. The ecosystem has grown nearly threefold since January 2026.

Tokenized Treasuries Grow 16% as 30-Day Inflows Reach $263 Million

Capital flowing into Solana's RWA market reached $263 million over the 30 days ending August 19, per Motley Fool, bringing the total to $3.8 billion before the $4 billion threshold was crossed four days later. The 30-day growth rate was 10.6%, per the same analysis.

Tokenized U.S. Treasury products account for $1.2 billion of Solana's RWA total, a 16.1% gain over the same 30 days, per the same Motley Fool report. Ondo USDY$1.14-0.1% is among the issuers with active treasury products on the network. Maple Finance's on-chain credit markets add a third segment alongside treasuries and equities, contributing to the diversified base that underpins the $4 billion figure.

Solana's RWA market reached $1.4 billion in January and has grown in steady steps since: $2.01 billion by the end of Q1, $2.8 billion in May, $3.4 billion by early July, and $3.62 billion by mid-July, per CryptoBriefing, before the August run.

Solana's spot DEXs recorded $5.8 billion in tokenized equity trading volume in Q2 2026, capturing an estimated 95 to 97 percent of all on-chain equity DEX volume globally that quarter. Solana's tokenized equity supply reached $465 million on August 21, with Raydium crossing $4 billion in cumulative tokenized stock volume the same day.

Ethereum Posts $337M in RWA Outflows as Solana Closes on BNB Chain

Ethereum held approximately $17.2 billion in RWA value as of August 22, per Motley Fool, but recorded $337 million in RWA outflows over the 30 days ending August 19, while Solana absorbed $263 million in inflows. Its 30-day growth rate was 1.3% against Solana's 10.6%, with its tokenized equity segment posting 1.5 percent outflows, per the same report.

CryptoBriefing data from early July placed BNB Chain at roughly $3.9 billion in total RWA value at that point. With Solana now above $4 billion, current RWA.xyz figures will determine whether Solana has moved ahead of BNB Chain for second place. The more than 300,000 RWA holder wallets Solana posted in July already put it ahead of Ethereum, Plume, and BNB Chain on that measure.
