Solana Mobile Launches Seeker Summer Round 2 with Moonwalk Fitness Step-to-Earn

The official announcement drew 86,000 views and 414 likes within 24 hours, with high engagement for a consumer dApp launch on the platform.

Round 2 introduces two quests, both accessible now to Seeker genesis phone holders.

The Fuel Up and Solo Run Quest Mechanics

Fuel Up requires depositing 100 MF MF tokens through the Seeker's Seed Vault Wallet and converting them to in-app credits. The deposit uses the Seed Vault specifically (the Seeker's hardware-backed secure enclave) rather than a standard software wallet. Moonwalk Fitness confirmed the quest details minutes after the official announcement and noted the quests are visible on the app home page and under the quest tab. According to CryptoBriefing, the deposit window for Fuel Up runs through July 28.

Solo Run asks users to create and participate in at least one new solo game mode inside the Moonwalk Fitness app. Unlike Fuel Up's token deposit, Solo Run is a behavioral quest: completing it requires interacting with the app's fitness game format rather than moving tokens.

Users who complete both quests recover their deposit plus a share of stakes forfeited by participants who miss their fitness targets, according to CryptoBriefing. Seeker phone owners also receive a 20% XP boost on completed challenges.

How Moonwalk Fitness Uses On-Chain Stakes for Fitness Accountability

Moonwalk Fitness runs step-challenge pools on Solana. Participants deposit assets (the app supports SOL, USDC, and BONK) into shared pools and earn rewards by completing their fitness commitments. Those who fall short forfeit part of their stake; those who complete their goal share both the forfeitures and experience points that convert to additional MF tokens. The model turns fitness consistency into a financial incentive, with on-chain settlement handling the redistribution.

The project raised $3.4 million in seed funding from Hack VC and Binance Labs in October 2024.

Seeker Summer's Structure and Round 1 Context

Seeker Summer launched July 7 and runs through August 30, covering four rounds across 16 apps on the Solana dApp Store. Round 1 featured TokenRun by GEODNET, a real-world geolocation treasure hunt. Solana Mobile opened 25 million SKR claims for Round 1 participants last week as that round closed.

The campaign's design keeps each round dApp-specific, pairing Seeker hardware features (Seed Vault, the SKR token ecosystem) with app mechanics that require the phone to participate. The Moonwalk integration extends that pattern into fitness: the Seed Vault handles the deposit, and physical step completion drives the reward pool.
