Jupiter Wallet Adds Gasless Swaps, Mobile App Ships Redesigned Home Screen

Jupiter JUP$0.220-3.0% pushed two product updates in less than 24 hours on June 25–26: gasless swaps are now live in Jupiter Wallet, and Jupiter Mobile has shipped a redesigned home screen built from community feedback.

Jupiter Wallet Gasless Swaps: No SOL Required Before Your First Trade

The friction point Jupiter Wallet is removing is familiar to anyone who has tried to onboard a new user to Solana. Before you can swap anything, you need SOL to pay for the transaction. That means new users who receive USDC, JUP, or any other token first have to acquire SOL separately just to move their funds, an extra step that interrupts the flow before it starts.

With gasless swaps, that step is gone. "Trade without SOL in your wallet," @jup_wallet announced on June 25. "Pay gas with the token you're already trading. No separate SOL funding step before your first swap. Just deposit and go."

The mechanism works through Jupiter's fee abstraction layer. Rather than requiring the user to hold SOL separately, the system calculates the gas cost of the transaction and deducts an equivalent amount from the swap output, so the user receives slightly fewer output tokens but does not need SOL in their wallet at all. Jupiter's developer documentation describes two paths: the Ultra gasless mechanism, which kicks in automatically when a user holds less than 0.01 SOL and the trade size clears a minimum threshold of approximately $10, and the JupiterZ RFQ route, where market makers cover the network and priority fees directly with no minimum trade size. In both cases, the gas cost is settled on behalf of the user; the user's wallet does not touch SOL for the transaction fee.

The practical effect is that a user can receive tokens for the first time and swap them immediately, without a prefunding step. For Jupiter, which has been building toward a broader consumer audience across wallet, mobile, and exchange products, reducing first-use friction is a logical priority.

Jupiter Mobile Home Screen: Community Feedback Shipped

The same day, Jupiter Mobile announced a redesigned home screen. The new layout, which @jup_mobile described as built directly from user feedback gathered during an early-access testing period, consolidates key account information into a single view and reduces interface clutter. The team described the release as "the new base for everything we're building next."

The redesign had been in development since late 2025, when Jupiter opened early access to a prototype and invited community testers to shape the final version. The shipped design reflects what came out of that process.

The two updates cover different surfaces (Jupiter Wallet is a browser extension, Jupiter Mobile is the iOS and Android app) but target the same layer: the experience a user encounters before they do anything else. The scale of what's behind both is visible in Solana Compass analytics: over the trailing seven days through June 25, the Jupiter aggregator processed 14.5 million swaps and $3.89 billion in volume, averaging around 121,000 daily signers.

Jupiter has been moving quickly across product lines this week. Jupiter Spot added Pulse and Smart Money dashboards to its trading interface, and Jupiter Offerbook entered public beta with fixed-rate lending against tokens, NFTs, and trading card game assets.
