Jupiter Bridge Launches in Beta, Comparing Five Bridge Providers for Transfers In and Out of Solana

Jupiter Bridge, now in beta, quotes GUM, Mayan, Relay, NEAR Intents and Circle CCTP to move tokens between Solana and 50+ networks, with no platform fee yet.

Jupiter Bridge Launches in Beta, Comparing Five Bridge Providers for Transfers In and Out of Solana
Five cut-paper shipping lanes cross a dark sea on an antique chart and converge on the Jupiter logo at a single harbour, with one lane picked out in lime green.

Jupiter JUP$0.279-0.3% launched Jupiter Bridge in beta on 27 October 2026, a bridge aggregator that asks five cross-chain providers for a quote and lets users move tokens between Solana and more than 50 other networks from one page. Jupiter's announcement, posted at 14:00 UTC, names Relay Protocol, Mayan, Circle USDC$1.000+0.0% CCTP and NEAR "and more". The Jupiter Bridge docs give the full list as GUM, Mayan, Relay, NEAR Intents and Circle CCTP, and say Jupiter "doesn't charge a platform fee for bridging at the moment."

Bridging is how money from other chains reaches Solana, and it has usually meant checking several bridge apps one at a time to find the best rate. Jupiter pitched the product with the line "Your favorite bridge doesn't always give you the best rate." Jupiter Bridge puts those quotes side by side, the way a flight-search site lists fares from several airlines. Unlike Jupiter's earlier bridge page, the docs describe the whole transfer, from wallet connection to tracking, taking place on Jupiter's page.

That puts incoming funds one click from Jupiter's swap venue. Transactions involving Jupiter's main swap program carried about $17.2 billion of spot swap volume across roughly 99 million swaps in the 30 days from 27 September to 26 October 2026, according to Solana Compass program data.

How Jupiter Bridge picks a route between Mayan, Relay, NEAR Intents and Circle CCTP

Jupiter Bridge ranks provider quotes by how much the user receives after paying the source network's gas, according to Jupiter's docs. Routes estimated to take more than about five minutes rank behind faster ones, and a route that would lose about 3% or more of the value sent is only preselected when every route would. Users can expand the route details and pick a different provider before signing.

Every transfer starts or ends on Solana. The token can also change along the way: the docs give the examples of sending ETH on Arbitrum and receiving SOL, or sending SOL and receiving USDC on Base. For transfers between two non-Solana networks, a "Bridge anywhere" button opens GUM's own bridge in a new tab.

The Circle CCTP route works differently from a wrapped-token bridge. Jupiter's docs say it burns USDC on the source network and mints native USDC on the destination, so the user receives Circle-issued USDC rather than a wrapped version.

The flow in the docs has six steps: pick a direction, choose the tokens and networks, check the quote and its warnings, connect wallets on both sides, approve and confirm, then track the transfer's status on the page. The live Jupiter Bridge page opens on an Ethereum-to-Solana transfer by default.

Jupiter Bridge fees, minimums and slippage

Jupiter takes no platform fee for now, but users still pay network gas, the bridge provider's fee and, on some routes, an extra source-network fee, per the docs. Those costs are taken out of the amount the user receives. If a provider refunds a failed transfer, the gas already paid is not returned.

The docs recommend sending at least $10 to or from Ethereum and $3 from other networks, though smaller amounts still go through if the user accepts the fee impact. Maximum slippage is fixed at 2% and cannot be changed by the user.

"At the moment" is the operative phrase in the fee wording. Jupiter's docs and launch posts do not say whether or when a platform fee will apply.

From a 2024 bridge comparator to an in-app aggregator

Jupiter has run a bridge page before. An earlier Bridge Comparator at jup.ag/bridge compared bridges and then used "front-end redirection to the appropriate bridge Dapps," according to a 27 August 2024 proposal on Jupiter's forum. The community member who wrote it argued for removing the comparator because third parties controlled the bridges, handled user support and added security exposure. Jupiter's 27 October announcement does not mention the older tool.

The new roster also leaves out some long-standing Solana bridges. deBridge DBR$0.015+10.4% and Wormhole W$0.013+3.5% are not among the five providers listed in Jupiter's docs. Of the providers that are, Mayan replied to the launch post six minutes later with "Mayan 🤝 Jupiter".

Jupiter Bridge is in beta, and Jupiter has asked for input: "Help us make it the best bridge on Solana. Tell us what to improve, we're listening," the team wrote in a follow-up post. The open questions are whether the zero platform fee survives the beta and whether Jupiter adds more providers to the five it quotes today.
