Frontier Traders Launches Network-Wide Rewards and VIP Program for Solana On-Chain
Frontier Traders launches a Solana-wide VIP rewards program with five rebate tiers, trading campaigns, and 16 partner venues including Jupiter and Meteora.
Frontier Traders launched on September 14 as a network-level rewards and VIP program for Solana on-chain traders. The platform aggregates spot and perpetuals trading activity across 16 participating Solana venues and issues rebates and campaign rewards based on total activity across all of them, not tied to any single protocol.
The program was backed at launch by the Solana Foundation, which described it as tracking activity "at the network level rather than venue-level," and counts venues that together account for more than 90% of Solana's spot and perpetuals trading volume, according to the Foundation's announcement.
Solana's decentralized exchanges processed $39.9 billion in trading volume across the six days ending September 13, averaging about $6.6 billion daily, with roughly 8 million trading wallets active per day, according to Solana Compass data.
How Frontier Traders' Five VIP Tiers Work Across Spot and Perps
The taker-side VIP program has five tiers based on rolling 30-day volume and open interest. VIP 1 requires $10 million in monthly volume and pays a 0.001% monthly rebate. VIP 2 requires $100 million in volume and $5 million in open interest for a 0.002% rebate. VIP 3 starts at $500 million in volume and $10 million OI (0.003%), VIP 4 at $2 billion with $25 million OI (0.004%), and the top tier, VIP 5, requires $5 billion to $10 billion in volume and $100 million in open interest for a 0.005% monthly rebate.
Market makers have a separate track: $15,000 per month in rewards split proportionally by volume, with a spread requirement of less than 2.3 basis points on trades under $250,000. VIP members across tiers also receive priority RPC access through Triton One and Helius, plus direct introductions to Solana ecosystem partners.
16 Founding Venues Cover Jupiter, Meteora, Raydium, and More
The 16 founding venues span the main categories of Solana trading infrastructure: DEXes (Jupiter JUP$0.334+0.9% Jupiter, Phoenix, Raydium, Orca, Byreal, Dflow, Meteora MET$0.297-2.3% Meteora), perpetuals and structured products (Titan, Fomo, Backpack Securities, Ondo, xStocks, OKX DEX), and consumer wallets and discovery layers (Phantom, Axiom, Pump.fun). Trading activity across all 16 counts toward a member's single network-wide tier.
Meteora, one of the founding venues, endorsed the launch on September 14:
Trading Campaigns and Prize Pools for All Members
Beyond the VIP tier system, Frontier Traders runs time-limited trading campaigns with prize pools open to all members regardless of volume. Traders compete on leaderboards across a set period to earn rewards from a shared prize pool. Active campaigns are listed on the platform dashboard, with pools funded in partnership with ecosystem protocols.
The campaigns format gives traders who do not meet the monthly volume thresholds for taker rebates a separate path to rewards based on performance within a given window.
How to Join Frontier Traders
Anyone can enroll by visiting frontiertraders.com/join and entering a Solana wallet address. The platform is read-only and does not request transaction permissions or move funds. Each enrolled wallet receives a sequential Frontier Trader profile number and a dashboard showing trading history pulled from on-chain activity across the 16 participating venues.
