USD.AI (CHIP) on Solana

USD.AI, the AI compute financing platform developed by Permian Labs, has announced a joint venture with BSQ Capital Partners, a Singapore-based alternative asset manager focused on digital infrastructure. The partnership creates a financing vehicle targeting $300 million in initial deployments of senior secured, GPU-backed loans to AI compute operators across Asia-Pacific markets including Australia, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and India. The structure is collateralized by first-priority security over GPUs and their contractual cash flows, with the vehicle targeting up to $1 billion in capacity if early performance milestones are met.

Under the arrangement, USD.AI provides capital and programmatic underwriting technology while BSQ Capital Partners handles origination and transaction management across the region. BSQ Co-Founder David Woo noted that Asia-Pacific's AI compute buildout is outpacing traditional financiers' ability to respond, positioning the joint venture as a domain-expert alternative. USD.AI COO Conor Moore framed GPUs as among the most productive assets of the decade that should be financed as such.
