On-chain activity
Zypto
Zypto provides integrated crypto financial services through self-custody wallet technology and merchant payment processing infrastructure. The platform supports cross-chain asset management, bill payments, crypto card services, and business payment gateway solutions with MoneyGram integration for cash-to-USDC conversion.
Zypto
Zypto is a crypto payments ecosystem launched in February 2022 with the stated mission of bringing blockchain-based financial tools into everyday use for ordinary people and businesses worldwide. The project operates through two aligned entities: Zypto Company, which builds and maintains the products, and the Zypto Foundation, a Cayman Islands-registered nonprofit that oversees community governance and growth initiatives. The tagline — "Simple blockchain payments, for life and business" — captures its dual focus on consumer-facing wallet tools and a merchant-facing payment gateway.
Zypto App
The primary consumer product is the Zypto App, a non-custodial multichain wallet available on iOS and Android. The app supports over 24,000 assets across more than 20 blockchains, including Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and others. Users hold their own private keys; Zypto does not custody funds at any point.
Built-in capabilities include multichain token swaps and DEX access, plus fiat on-ramps and off-ramps through more than 130 payment methods. One notable integration is a MoneyGram-powered cash-in and cash-out feature, which allows users to convert between USDC on the Stellar network and local currency at participating MoneyGram locations worldwide — without requiring a bank account.
Real-world spending from the app spans several tools. The Zypto Premium Visa Card (physical and virtual) carries no monthly fee, loads with crypto, and works wherever Visa is accepted, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Bill payment covers 87,000-plus billers across 120-plus countries. Mobile top-ups reach more than 800 operators across 170-plus countries. Gift cards from more than 8,500 brands can be purchased with crypto and scheduled for delivery by email. A "Pay Abroad" feature launched in Brazil via Pix and Colombia via Nequi allows users to pay local merchants in local currency from their crypto balance. KuCoin Pay integration lets users pay directly from a KuCoin exchange balance through the Zypto App checkout flow.
Security-conscious users can add a Vault Key Card — an NFC and biometric hardware device that functions as cold storage and integrates with the Zypto App for DeFi access.
Zypto Pay
The merchant-facing product, Zypto Pay, is a crypto payment gateway designed for businesses of all sizes. It accepts over 100 cryptocurrencies across 20-plus chains — including Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and major stablecoins — with zero merchant-side transaction fees and no setup cost. Network gas fees are paid to the respective blockchain, not to Zypto.
Three integration paths are offered. An online drop-in checkout widget supports WooCommerce, PrestaShop, and Adobe Commerce via plugin, with a REST API and webhooks for custom builds. The API is described as Stripe-compatible in event shape, with SDKs available in Node, Python, Go, PHP, and Ruby and a sandbox environment for each supported chain. An in-person soft-POS or hardware terminal option confirms payments via dynamic QR code or wallet connect after on-chain settlement. Funds are held in an MPC (multi-party computation) multichain vault pending settlement, which merchants can take as crypto, auto-convert to local fiat, or split between the two. Zypto Pay also offers a white-label option for crypto exchanges, fintechs, payment processors, and banks.
ZYPTO Token
The ZYPTO token is an ERC-20 on Ethereum with a maximum supply of one billion tokens. Approximately 10.3 percent of supply has been burned to the dead wallet. As of mid-2026, circulating supply is roughly 896 million tokens, placing market capitalization around $2.64 million (CoinMarketCap rank 1,456). The token reached an all-time high of approximately $0.0625 in March 2024.
The token is also available on Solana, Base, BNB Chain, and Arbitrum through CCIP bridging. It trades on Uniswap, MEXC, BitMart, ChangeNow, and Exolix. The token carries a 0% buy tax and a 2% sell tax, split as 1.5% to the Foundation and 0.5% to the liquidity pool. The smart contract caps total buy-plus-sell tax at a permanent maximum of 4%, adjustable only by community vote up to that ceiling. The contract has been audited by CyberScope and carries a CertiK security rating of 4.1 out of 5.
Community: Zyptopia and ZYPs
Token holders who register their wallets in the Zyptopia section of the Zypto App become Zyptonians and gain access to a set of benefits managed by the Foundation. Zyptopia is described as a private members club, and membership requires holding ZYPTO and completing registration through the Rewards Hub.
Within Zyptopia, users earn ZYPs — non-transferable in-app loyalty points accumulated through app usage, referrals, and participation in campaigns. ZYPs can be applied toward card services, gift cards, bill payments, and fee discounts. A tiered Booster System increases Rewards Hub level based on lifetime ZYP accumulation and ongoing ZYPTO holdings, unlocking higher cashback percentages and bonus multipliers. Multiple wallets, including hardware devices, can be registered to a single user account.
Governance uses a quadratic voting model designed to limit whale dominance and broaden participation. Until in-app voting is live, proposals are handled on Snapshot. Governance topics include community incentive allocation splits, Foundation Council elections, funding decisions for campaigns and exchange listings, and ecosystem development proposals. The community controls at least 50 percent of all available incentive distributions, with the initial allocation set at 90 percent of Foundation-received incentives; quarterly votes can shift this by a maximum of 5 percentage points per quarter.
The Foundation roadmap published in Q2 2025 outlined: a Foundation referral program launch and Snapshot voting in Q2 2025; a Zyptopedia community wiki in Q3 2025; and quadratic voting integration in Zyptopia along with a community grant program targeted for Q4 2025.
Reception
The Zypto App holds a Trustpilot rating of 4.7 out of 5 based on 220 reviews, with users describing it as a full-featured daily banking replacement. The blog publishes over 865 posts covering wallet guides, DeFi explanations, weekly crypto news, and product tutorials. The project is available across 190-plus countries, with product availability varying by region and service type.
