xLabs is a blockchain infrastructure company that serves as one of the principal core contributors to Wormhole, the cross-chain interoperability protocol that connects Solana to the broader multi-chain ecosystem. xLabs' work spans the full stack of Wormhole infrastructure, translating the protocol's design into running, production-grade systems.

WormholeScan is the team's cross-chain block explorer and transaction tracker. It serves as the primary way to follow asset flows and message packets moving between Wormhole-supported blockchains, giving users and developers transparent visibility into cross-chain activity.

Portal Bridge is the flagship user-facing product built on Wormhole. Positioned as the leading bridge interface in the Wormhole ecosystem, Portal allows users to transfer and swap assets across 30-plus blockchains, including Solana, Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, and a growing list of L2s. The interface abstracts Wormhole's underlying message-passing mechanism into a straightforward transfer experience.

CCTP Relayer Network is one of xLabs' most operationally significant contributions. The company runs one of the primary relayer networks for Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol, which enables native USDC to be burned on one chain and minted on another without wrapping. xLabs' relayer processes millions of such transactions annually, automating the attestation and redemption steps on behalf of users transferring USDC across chains. Circle recognizes xLabs as both a Bridge App and Bridge SDK provider in its Alliance Directory, underlining the company's centrality to USDC's cross-chain infrastructure.

Wormhole Connect is a developer-facing SDK contribution that enables dapp builders to embed cross-chain bridging directly in their interfaces. xLabs contributed development work to this component alongside its other Wormhole commitments.

Wallet Aggregator SDK is a separate open-source SDK the team built to help dapp developers connect to popular wallets across multiple blockchains through a single, unified integration surface.

Guardian Node Operations

Wormhole's security model depends on a set of Guardian nodes — a permissioned group of validators that observe finalized transactions across blockchains and sign attestations that allow messages to be relayed. xLabs runs Guardian nodes on both Wormhole mainnet and testnet. These nodes are part of the core security machinery of the protocol: without functioning Guardians co-signing, cross-chain messages cannot be delivered. xLabs also maintains the RPC infrastructure the Guardian nodes depend on, operating more than 100 nodes across 35-plus blockchain networks for high-availability access.

Validator Operations on Solana

Beyond the Wormhole stack, xLabs operates Solana validators as part of a broader push to decentralize staking infrastructure in underrepresented geographies. The company became Argentina's first Solana validator and has expanded that presence across South America. Their bare metal Solana validators, co-located with Latitude.sh in Argentina, have recorded 100% uptime and a 0% skip rate over monitored periods — performance benchmarks that matter for delegators evaluating reliability. This regional focus is deliberate: xLabs describes itself as committed to expanding blockchain infrastructure in emerging markets where institutional-grade node operations have historically been sparse.

Canton Network Validator

xLabs has also extended its validator footprint beyond Solana, joining the Canton Network — Digital Asset's privacy-preserving institutional blockchain network — as a validator. This move signals the company's strategy of positioning itself as a multi-chain infrastructure provider for both consumer-facing DeFi applications and enterprise or institutional blockchain deployments.

Wormhole Foundation Recognition

In September 2023, the Wormhole Foundation awarded xLabs its first-ever Core Developer Grant, citing the team's contributions to accelerating Web3 connectivity. The grant formalized what had already been a deep, operationally critical relationship: xLabs had already built WormholeScan, contributed to Portal Bridge's front-end, designed and operated the CCTP Relayer, and maintained Guardian infrastructure before receiving the grant.

xLabs was co-founded by Pablo Yabo, Michel Dahdah, and Gabriel Zimmermann. The company operates as a remote-first organization with its primary team in Argentina and distributed staff across the United States and Europe.
