About

Transit Finance

Transit Finance is a cross-chain DEX aggregator that sources liquidity from 122 decentralized exchange protocols across 16 blockchains, including Solana, delivering real-time best-price routing and one-stop cross-chain swaps without requiring user accounts or KYC verification.

What Transit Finance Does

Transit Finance, operating primarily under the Transit Swap interface, aggregates on-chain liquidity from DEXs and four cross-chain bridges to execute token swaps at optimal rates. When a user submits a swap request, the platform queries price feeds across all integrated protocols in real time, splits or routes the trade through whichever combination produces the best output, and returns the resulting tokens to the user wallet in a single transaction. The approach mirrors the model of aggregators like Jupiter on Solana but applies it across 16 chains simultaneously.

Supported networks span Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Avalanche, Fantom, Tron, Klaytn, OKExChain, Huobi ECO Chain, Hoo Smart Chain, KuCoin Community Chain, Conflux, Moonbeam, Solana, and Aptos. Cross-chain transfers between these networks route through integrated bridge protocols, allowing users to move assets without abandoning the Transit interface for a separate bridging application.

The platform is tightly integrated with the TokenPocket mobile wallet, which acts as a primary distribution channel: Transit Swap functionality is embedded directly inside TokenPocket, giving that wallet user base access to multi-chain aggregation from within their existing wallet interface. The partnership also powers Transit Buy, a fiat on-ramp feature through which users can purchase cryptocurrency using traditional payment methods via seven third-party fiat providers.

Key Features

DEX Aggregation: Routes swaps through 122 integrated liquidity sources, selecting and splitting across pools to minimize price impact and slippage. Over 5 million token addresses are accessible through the interface.

Cross-Chain Bridging: Native cross-chain capability through four integrated bridge protocols allows asset transfers across supported networks. The user selects source and destination chains and the platform handles routing.

Market Analytics: An analytics module provides token holder data, profit/loss metrics, trading volume history, and TradingView-powered candlestick charts for on-chain tokens. The info.transit.finance subdomain exposes individual token pages with how-to-buy guides and market data.

Fiat On/Off-Ramp: Transit Buy connects to seven fiat providers, including a zero-fee integration with Banxa for specific assets during campaign periods.

NFT Functionality: The platform includes a Transit NFT marketplace and has released its own generative NFT collection, Transit-NFT-Meelons, extending its scope beyond pure token trading.

Inscribe Tool: A utility for on-chain inscription operations, reflecting the platform expansion into emerging on-chain asset formats.

Solana Integration

Transit Finance deployed a smart contract to Solana Mainnet at program address 5ZKhigaUWXa7GGhae8UdUjJtNJiMBLi3igGVstef3tHf, classified as a live DEX aggregator product. Solana is one of the 16 chains supported in the platform cross-chain routing layer, meaning users can swap into or out of Solana-based assets or bridge SOL and SPL tokens to other supported networks directly within the Transit interface.

In the broader Solana DEX aggregator landscape, Transit competes alongside Jupiter, which commands the majority of aggregated Solana volume, as a multi-chain alternative for users who need to move liquidity across ecosystems rather than trade within a single chain.

Security History

Transit Finance's security record is a defining part of its history and warrants direct discussion.

October 2022 Exploit: On October 1, 2022, attackers drained approximately 28.9 million dollars from user wallets. The root cause was insufficient input validation during token exchanges, which allowed an arbitrary external call vulnerability to be exploited. The attacker was able to invoke arbitrary code via Transit's approved token spend, effectively draining assets users had previously approved to the contract. In an unusual outcome, the attacker returned approximately 18.9 million dollars, leaving a net loss of roughly 10 million dollars across affected users. Transit Finance suspended the service immediately.

October 2022 Relaunch: The platform relaunched on October 21, 2022, three weeks after the exploit. Security upgrades included replacing the vulnerable contract with a fully open-source version audited by SlowMist, removing separate approval management modules, implementing whitelist restrictions on external call authority, and strengthening cross-chain bridge interaction logic. A security bounty program of up to 1 million dollars was established for responsible vulnerability disclosure. A Transit Security Fund was also created, allocating 10 percent of monthly revenue to an incident reserve.

December 2023 Exploit: A smaller incident on December 20, 2023 affected Ethereum Mainnet and BNB Chain contracts, resulting in approximately 115,000 dollars in losses due to a separate smart contract vulnerability.

May 2026 Exploit: A 1.88 million dollar loss occurred in May 2026, with stolen assets held in DAI on Ethereum. Transit Finance attributed the breach to vulnerabilities in an early-version TRON contract deprecated since 2022. The team stated current active contracts were unaffected and committed to compensating affected users. The incident underscores the persistent risk of residual token approvals on deprecated contract addresses.

Following each incident, Transit Finance maintained continuity of operations. The current live contracts have undergone continuous auditing, testing, and monitoring since the 2022 SlowMist audit.

Team and History

Transit Finance was founded in July 2021. The project does not publicly name individual team members. Its primary institutional relationship is with TokenPocket, one of the largest multi-chain mobile wallets by user count, which serves as the main distribution and promotional partner for the Transit Swap product. This relationship provides Transit Finance with access to TokenPocket's existing user base and enables the embedded swap feature within that wallet.

Scale and Activity

As of late August 2026, Transit Finance reported 219,352 active traders in a single week, with 8,544 new active traders onboarded during that period and 140.85 million dollars in weekly swap volume across all supported chains. The platform has operated continuously since its October 2022 relaunch, making it one of the longer-running multi-chain DEX aggregators in the space.

Ecosystem Position

Transit Finance occupies a specific niche: a multi-chain aggregator built around mobile wallet distribution. Rather than competing head-on with chain-native aggregators like Jupiter on Solana or 1inch on Ethereum, it targets users who operate across chains through the TokenPocket ecosystem and need aggregated swap access without switching between specialized tools. Its fiat on-ramp integration, analytics layer, and NFT features position it as a broader DeFi access point rather than a pure routing protocol. The Solana program represents one node in a multi-chain network rather than a Solana-first product, but it gives Solana users direct access to Transit's cross-chain routing for moving assets between ecosystems.
