Roaster

Roaster is a Solana-native platform that merges AI music generation, prediction markets, and on-chain IP ownership. Launched in December 2024 as part of the ElevenLabs Startup Program, it is also available on Solana Mobile. Two AI-generated rap tracks compete over a live USDC betting pool; a panel of three large-language-model judges scores the winner with results verifiably anchored on-chain. A battle begins when a creator deposits 10 USDC, names two opposing sides, writes a topic, and selects a duration of 15 minutes, 6 hours, or 24 hours. The platform AI agent picks angles for each side, writes the bars, and uses ElevenLabs to produce a complete audio track, locking both tracks before betting opens. Supporters stake USDC in a time-weighted parimutuel pool; earlier bets carry more weight on final payouts. At deadline, both tracks go live and cross-post to X. Judging is performed by Claude, GPT-4o, and Gemini independently, each scoring on craft dimensions such as wordplay, flow, and topical relevance. Full panel transcripts store on Irys with SHA-256 commitment hashes recorded on-chain before verdict reveal, making results independently reproducible. Prompt injection safeguards include input delimiters and regex flagging. Winners split the losing pool proportionally; voided battles refund every staker. Rap creators receive 16 Metaplex Core IP Revenue NFTs per battle rather than a flat fee. Once the protocol reaches ten thousand dollars in cumulative revenue, distributions activate: 60 percent flows to traders on a time-weighted basis, 30 percent to bar creators via NFTs, and 10 percent to the protocol. Winning tracks are distributed to Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, and comparable platforms, creating an ongoing royalty stream extending beyond the settlement event. This structure separates betting performance from creative ownership: a creator whose track loses the battle still retains the NFT and earns from streams. The protocol charges 1.25 percent total fees on backing volume: 0.25 percent to battle creators, 0.60 percent to rap creators, 0.30 percent to the protocol, and 0.10 percent to referrers. USDC is held in program-owned PDAs; embedded Battle Wallets keep user funds separate from protocol funds. All on-chain handlers are formally verified using QEDGen spec and Kani bounded model checking under z3, with 842 of 842 harnesses passing. No third-party audit report was linked in available documentation at time of research. Agents can deploy through Claude Code or OpenClaw integrations for autonomous battle creation, song generation, and staking. Roughly 50 percent of battles reportedly feature autonomous agents. Roaster sits at an unusual Solana intersection: simultaneously a prediction market, a generative AI product, and a music IP platform. Unlike prediction markets that bet on external events, Roaster generates its own events, making each battle self-contained. USDC denomination insulates users from SOL price volatility during windows as short as 15 minutes. The embedded wallet auto-created at signup removes the need for a pre-funded Solana wallet.
