About

OrbitFlare

OrbitFlare is an enterprise-grade Solana RPC and data infrastructure provider operated by Orbit Blockchain Technologies LLC. Founded in May 2024, the company builds and operates shared and dedicated blockchain access points for developers, high-frequency traders, DeFi protocols, and analytics platforms that need reliable, low-latency connectivity to Solana at scale.

The Problem It Addresses

Solana's throughput model places steep demands on infrastructure. Applications processing thousands of transactions per second — trading bots, sniper tools, MEV strategies, and real-time indexers — need RPC endpoints that can sustain high request volume without throttling, and data feeds that deliver new information before it propagates through the gossip network. Generic multi-chain RPC providers that retrofit Solana support frequently fall short on latency, Solana-specific APIs, and shred-layer access. OrbitFlare is designed from the ground up around Solana's architecture to address this gap.

Core Products

Solana RPC Nodes are OrbitFlare's foundational offering: JSON-RPC endpoints distributed across 11 global regions with a stated sub-5ms average response time and a 99.99% uptime service-level agreement. Shared plans run from a free devnet tier (10 requests per second) through paid tiers up to 600 RPS at $999 per month. The nodes support the full Solana JSON-RPC specification and are Shredstream-optimized, meaning they are deployed in close network proximity to leading validators to minimize routing overhead.

Geyser gRPC Streaming gives subscribers real-time access to Solana's internal data pipeline. OrbitFlare offers two protocol flavors under this umbrella:

  • Yellowstone delivers full-fidelity account updates and transaction data including inner instructions and complete metadata, suited for indexers and analytics workloads.
  • Jetstream is OrbitFlare's proprietary low-latency streaming layer built on decoded shreds. Because it taps data before blocks are finalized, Jetstream reaches subscribers earlier than a standard Geyser feed — an advantage for applications detecting pool creations, swap opportunities, or arbitrage windows. Jetstream V2, released in July 2026, added enhanced metadata capabilities.

Shared gRPC access starts at $500 per month; dedicated gRPC channels are available from $1,800 per month.

Shredstream is a raw UDP shred-delivery product that forwards Solana shreds directly from top-of-turbine validators to a subscriber's infrastructure. With less than 1 millisecond of added overhead and coverage across nine global regions in premium and standard tiers, Shredstream is positioned for the most latency-sensitive workloads in the ecosystem — HFT bots and MEV operators that need to act on block data before it completes propagation.

Apex is OrbitFlare's transaction-landing service, designed to improve inclusion rates for time-sensitive transactions and MEV-aware strategies by routing submissions through optimized validator paths.

Dedicated Nodes provide isolated, single-tenant Solana nodes deployed to OrbitFlare's global infrastructure. Starting at $2,500 per month, they offer unlimited RPS and TPS, customizable rate limits, IP whitelisting, and sub-100ms proximity to major validators. The service supports three Solana client implementations: Solana Labs, Jito Labs, and Frankendancer (the Firedancer-derived client). Deployment takes 24-48 hours for standard configurations and up to five business days for custom setups. Dedicated customers receive priority 24/7 support and a dedicated account manager.

Validator Staking

OrbitFlare operates a Solana validator and offers staking through its staking product. The stated commission is 5%, with JITO MEV reward sharing passed to delegators, producing a blended yield the company describes as 5-7% APY. This extends the company's presence in the Solana ecosystem beyond pure infrastructure into network participation.

Additional Features

OrbitFlare has expanded its offering in several directions:

  • Historical Data: Access to archival Solana state for indexing and analytics use cases.
  • OrbitFlare NFT Pass: A tradable NFT-based access credential granting 1,500 RPS across OrbitFlare's shared infrastructure, allowing holders to transfer or resell their access tier.
  • Multi-chain RPC: Shared endpoints for BNB Chain and Polygon, enabling customers who operate on multiple networks to consolidate providers.
  • SDK: A Go SDK released in July 2026 covers RPC, Yellowstone gRPC, Jetstream, and WebSocket transports through a unified builder pattern with goroutine-safe clients, channel-based streams, auto-reconnect, and failover built in. The package is available at github.com/orbitflare/orbitflare-sdk-go.

Infrastructure Footprint

OrbitFlare's network spans 11 regions across three continents: four US locations (Ashburn VA, New York, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City), five European locations (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Dublin, Siauliai), and two Asian locations (Tokyo and Singapore). Customers are routed to the nearest point of presence automatically.

The company also operates OrbitServers, a companion bare-metal server service, and runs an affiliate program.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

OrbitFlare is built exclusively around Solana's architecture at its core, distinguishing it from multi-chain providers that adapt generic infrastructure to Solana. Its shred-layer products — Jetstream and Shredstream — require deep integration with Solana's Turbine propagation model and are not feasible to replicate on other chains without equivalent foundational work. The company's support for all three major Solana client implementations (Solana Labs, Jito, Frankendancer) and its JITO MEV integration reflect tight coupling with the network's evolving validator ecosystem. Independent analysis published on DEV Community ranks OrbitFlare as the top option for Solana trading, MEV, and sniping use cases as of 2026, noting that its single SDK covering the full transport surface — RPC, WebSocket, gRPC, and shred-layer — reduces integration complexity for teams operating across multiple data layers.
