Notifi Network
Web3 notifications, real-time alerts, and growth marketing infrastructure for decentralized apps
On-chain activity
Notification Service
Notifi Notification Service is a unified API that sends messages across web2 and crypto-native channels including Discord, Telegram, email, SMS, and XMTP wallet messages.
Notifi Network
Notifi Network is a Web3-native messaging infrastructure platform that lets decentralized applications send real-time notifications to their users across email, SMS, Telegram, Discord, and an in-app inbox—filling the communication gap that has historically forced crypto users to rely on fragmented, off-chain channels.
The Problem Notifi Solves
Blockchain applications have long struggled to reach their users when it matters most. A liquidation threshold is approaching, a DAO vote has opened, an NFT bid just landed—yet users typically discover these events only if they happen to check a dashboard or scroll a Discord channel. The result is missed positions, low governance participation, and poor user retention. Notifi addresses this by positioning itself as the notification and messaging layer between dApps and their users, analogous to what Twilio provides for Web2 but designed from the ground up for Web3's on-chain event model and multi-wallet, multi-chain user base.
Core Mechanism
Notifi provides three primary building blocks:
Notifi SDK. A developer-facing toolkit that lets any dApp integrate on-chain triggered notifications in days rather than months. Developers define alert topics—such as wallet activity thresholds, liquidation ratios, or governance proposal state changes—and Notifi's infrastructure listens for those events on-chain and fans notifications out to every channel a user has subscribed to. The SDK includes pre-built React components, so front-end integration is largely plug-and-play.
Admin Portal. A no-code interface for product and marketing teams at Web3 projects. It enables broadcast announcements, campaign messages, and targeted communications to token holder segments without requiring ongoing engineering involvement.
Notifi Hub. A consumer-facing Web3 inbox available at notifi.network/hub and as native iOS and Android applications. Hub aggregates cross-chain activity—transaction confirmations, DAO proposals, NFT bids, DeFi position alerts—into a single dashboard. Users connect multiple wallets from Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Aptos, Acala, and other networks, then subscribe to the specific dApps and alert types they care about. Additional features within Hub include xMS (cross-wallet messaging that supports both public on-chain and private off-chain communication) and Whale Watch (custom monitoring of specified wallet addresses for large transaction alerts on Ethereum and Solana).
Notification delivery channels span email, SMS, Telegram, Discord, and in-app, giving users the ability to receive alerts through whichever medium fits their workflow.
Solana Ecosystem Fit
Solana was Notifi's first supported chain and remains central to its ecosystem. The platform's earliest integrations were with Solana-native projects, and several of Solana's infrastructure primitives have adopted Notifi as their communication layer.
The integration with Solana's SPL Governance protocol—powering the Realms DAO platform—was a milestone. DAOs on Realms can deliver proposal alerts, vote reminders, and governance announcements directly via SMS and email to their community members, addressing the chronic low-voter-participation problem that affects most on-chain governance systems.
Beyond governance, Notifi powers notifications for several prominent Solana DeFi and NFT projects: Orca (the Solana DEX) uses it for LP and swap alerts; Hawksight (yield aggregation) delivers trading and portfolio updates through it; Hyperspace (NFT marketplace) uses it to connect creators with NFT holders; SharkyFi (NFT lending) sends loan status, repayment alerts, and default notifications; and Zebec has integrated it for streaming payment events.
Multi-Chain Reach and Scale
While Solana-native in origin, Notifi has expanded to 18+ chains including Ethereum, Polygon, NEAR, Aptos, Sui, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Cosmos, Injective, Osmosis, Base, and zkSync. As of its 2023 year-in-review, the platform had launched more than 40 integrations spanning DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, gaming projects, wallets, and DAO tooling. Notable multi-chain partners include Synthetix (its largest customer by TVL), Osmosis ($137M TVL), Levana (perpetuals), Scallop (SUI money market), and 0N1 Force (gaming/anime NFT community).
Team and Funding
Notifi was co-founded in January 2022 by Paul Kim (CEO) and Nimesh Amin (CTO), both of whom came from infrastructure roles at Amazon Web Services; Amin also has experience at Oracle Cloud. The team's background in large-scale cloud infrastructure informed the "Twilio for Web3" positioning and the emphasis on developer ergonomics and reliability.
In November 2022 the company closed a $10 million seed round—oversubscribed—co-led by Hashed and Race Capital, bringing total funding to $12.5 million. Additional investors include Struck Capital, HRT Capital, Wintermute (the market maker), and Superscrypt (founded by Temasek, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund). The investor mix reflects both crypto-native capital and institutional backing.
No Token
Notifi Network does not have a native token. Revenue comes from its infrastructure services to protocol and dApp partners rather than from a token model. There is no staking, governance token, or user-facing token economy at this time.
Security and Trust Model
Notifi's security posture centers on its role as an off-chain messaging relay rather than a custody or settlement layer—it reads on-chain events but does not hold user funds or execute transactions. The platform stores user notification preferences and contact information (email, phone, Telegram handles) off-chain, which creates standard Web2-style data handling obligations. No public third-party audits of the infrastructure have been announced, consistent with its positioning as a communication service rather than a DeFi protocol.
Positioning Within the Solana Ecosystem
User retention and engagement have historically been weak points in Web3 products: users arrive, do a few transactions, then quietly drift away because no mechanism pulls them back. Notifi tackles this at the infrastructure level, giving Solana dApps the same kind of lifecycle messaging capabilities—onboarding flows, risk alerts, re-engagement campaigns—that Web2 SaaS products take for granted. As Solana's user base has grown and competition among protocols for active users has intensified, reliable notification infrastructure has moved from a nice-to-have to a product requirement for serious teams. Notifi's early positioning on Solana, its deep integrations with key DeFi and governance primitives, and its cross-chain Hub all reinforce its role as foundational communication middleware for the broader ecosystem.
