When it detects a threat — whether a known phishing domain, a suspicious transaction structure, or an address poisoning attempt — it intervenes before the user's wallet is engaged. The extension claims a 99.9% detection rate and has reported zero asset losses among its protected user base since launch. Coverage extends to 1,000+ EVM chains and Solana (where support launched in February 2025 and was extended to full Sentinel3 integration by November 2025).

Acquisitions: Fire and Pocket Universe

Kerberus made two notable acquisitions within a 12-month span. In 2024, the company acquired Fire, a transaction simulation tool that helped users preview what a smart contract interaction would do before signing. In August 2025, Kerberus acquired Refract, the company behind Pocket Universe — a browser extension with approximately 200,000 active users focused on anti-fraud protection for Ethereum and Solana wallets. The Pocket Universe deal was a seven-figure acquisition and was described by Kerberus as a consolidation of two of the most trusted consumer security products in Web3. Kerberus was co-founded by Danor Cohen (CTO) and Alex Katz (CEO), who met within the Neo Tokyo community. Cohen brings 15 years of offensive security experience, including a leadership role as Head of Offensive Security at Salesforce, and is recognized in bug bounty programs at PayPal and Dropbox. Katz leads business and marketing with a background in global operations and financial markets. Sentinel3 was the first Chrome extension to earn VaaSBlock's Risk Management Authentication (RMA) badge, which independently validates the product's security claims. As of the end of 2025, the extension held a 4.8-star rating from over 200 reviews.

Ecosystem Presence

Kerberus has positioned itself within the Solana conference circuit as a security infrastructure provider. The company presented at Solana Breakpoint in Abu Dhabi in December 2025, where it also launched a co-branded Ledger x Kerberus hardware wallet.
