Interlace Platform
Interlace Platform is a B2B card issuing and banking infrastructure provider enabling businesses to launch branded physical and virtual card programmes across multiple card BINs & countries through a single API integration. Companies embed card issuance, multi-currency accounts, on/off ramp processing, and Banking-as-a-Service components into their own products via Interlace's licensed infrastructure spanning many countries.
Interlace CryptoConnect
Interlace CryptoConnect is an on/off-ramp service that facilitates cryptocurrency-to-fiat conversions and digital asset management for enterprise users and Web3 businesses.
Interlace
Interlace is a global fintech infrastructure provider that enables businesses to launch branded payment card programs and embed financial services through a unified API platform. Founded in 2019, the company operates under the tagline "Money Management Unified," reflecting its goal of consolidating card issuing, banking accounts, crypto wallet infrastructure, and payment acquiring into a single programmable stack. Its clients range from Web3 wallets and crypto exchanges to fintech companies, digital gaming platforms, marketplaces, and advertising agencies.
API-First Financial Infrastructure
Interlace delivers its services through four principal pillars, each exposed as an API-as-a-Service product:
Card as a Service (CaaS) is the company's flagship offering. Businesses connect to more than 30 card BINs through a single API integration and can deploy physical or virtual card programs in as few as 14 days. The system includes wallet deposit address generation, KYT compliance screening for crypto deposits, cardholder KYC in both API-integration and hosted modes, built-in risk controls, and anti-fraud monitoring. Cards can be white-labeled with custom designs and are compatible with Apple Pay and Google Wallet.
Banking as a Service (BaaS) provides multi-currency business accounts denominated in USD, EUR, GBP, and HKD, along with fund transfer capabilities and embedded finance components. Businesses can integrate account management directly into their own platforms via the BaaS API.
Wallet as a Service (WaaS) handles cryptocurrency wallet operations and stablecoin settlement. The platform supports native USDC and native USDT on Solana, alongside native USDC on Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Optimism, and native USDT on Avalanche, Ethereum, TRON, and TON. Bitcoin and ETH are supported for withdrawals. This multi-chain wallet layer powers the crypto deposit and conversion flows that feed into Interlace's card programs.
Acquiring as a Service (AaaS) covers card payment processing and 3DS authentication, enabling clients to accept card payments within the same infrastructure that issues cards.
An emerging fifth service, Agent Card, addresses AI agent card issuance and management, positioning Interlace to serve autonomous software systems that require programmable spending controls.
Consumer-Facing Products
In addition to its B2B infrastructure, Interlace operates two end-user products built on its own APIs:
Infinity Cards are corporate expense management cards for employee spending. The product targets companies seeking branded cards with real-time controls and multi-currency settlement.
CryptoConnect is a crypto wallet with fiat on-ramps and off-ramps, allowing holders to spend crypto balances directly via card. The Infinity Card underpins CryptoConnect's spending layer, enabling crypto-to-fiat conversion at the point of sale.
Yield Treasury offers businesses a 4 percent yield on treasury balances held through the Interlace platform, providing a passive return on operational capital.
Solana Integration and the PayFi Ecosystem
Solana sits within Interlace's supported chain set for both USDC and USDT settlement, making it one of the blockchains through which businesses can deposit stablecoins and fund card programs. This integration connects Solana's high-throughput, low-fee stablecoin settlement layer to real-world card spending rails.
In February 2025, Interlace CEO Michael Wu presented at the PayFi Summit held during Consensus Hong Kong alongside the Solana Foundation, Huma Finance, and DePHY. The event positioned 2025 as "the Year of PayFi" — a category referring to the convergence of decentralized finance and traditional payment infrastructure. Interlace's participation alongside the Solana Foundation underscores its relevance as a bridge layer between Solana-native stablecoin liquidity and conventional card networks.
Scale, Licensing, and Compliance
Interlace holds PCI-DSS Level 1 certification, the highest security standard in the card payments industry. The company is licensed across multiple jurisdictions: Hong Kong (TCSP), the United States (FinCEN MSB), Lithuania (VASP), and Canada (FINTRAC MSB). As of mid-2025, it has issued more than 6 million cards, serves 7,500 or more business clients, operates in 180-plus countries, and processes more than 60 million transactions annually.
The technical infrastructure separates production and sandbox environments, with IP whitelisting enforced at the API layer. Authentication follows an OAuth-style flow with 24-hour access tokens and refresh token support. Idempotency headers are supported throughout the API to prevent duplicate transaction processing.
Market Positioning
Interlace occupies the infrastructure layer of the Web3 payments stack rather than building end-user consumer applications. Its pitch to clients is the ability to eliminate the complexity of card program setup — BIN sponsorship, regulatory licensing, crypto compliance, and card network integration — and replace it with a single API contract. The 14-day deployment claim contrasts with industry norms, where launching a card program independently typically takes months of regulatory and technical work.
The company has presented at Token2049 and Consensus, two of the highest-profile crypto conferences, positioning its CaaS product as foundational infrastructure for the next generation of crypto-native payment companies, crypto exchanges seeking to add card products, and Web3 wallets looking to bridge on-chain balances to everyday spending.
