About

Hello Moon

Hello Moon is a blockchain infrastructure and developer data platform built primarily for Solana, offering RPC node access, a specialized transaction acceleration service, real-time on-chain data feeds, and staking infrastructure for institutional and retail participants. Founded in October 2021 and headquartered in New York City, Hello Moon raised 19.1 million dollars from investors including Blockchain Capital, CoinFund, ParaFi Capital, Asymmetric Financial, and Future Perfect Ventures. The platform was built by a team led by Walker Guffey, described as crypto veterans who have engineered solutions processing significant daily transaction volumes across multiple market cycles. Hello Moon maintains partnerships with Messari, The Block, Solana Foundation, Solana Ventures, Frakt, Hades, and Portals, positioning the platform within the established Solana ecosystem. The company has no native token; access is gated by API keys issued through the Hello Moon dashboard. Hello Moon provides four core infrastructure products serving different parts of the developer stack. The first is an RPC node network operating shared and dedicated endpoints for Solana, Sei, and Movement blockchains. Shared nodes are accessible at rpc.hellomoon.io, sei.hellomoon.io, and movement.hellomoon.io, while dedicated nodes provide isolated infrastructure for teams requiring guaranteed latency and throughput. These RPC nodes serve trading bots, wallets, portfolio dashboards, and decentralized application backends that require high-frequency, low-latency blockchain reads and writes. The second product is Lunar Lander, Hello Moon flagship transaction acceleration service, described as a high-performance Solana transaction landing infrastructure designed to accelerate transaction settlement. Developers integrate Lunar Lander by constructing a standard Solana transaction, adding a tip instruction of at least 0.001 SOL to a designated tip account, and submitting to one of Hello Moon 12 regional endpoints. These endpoints span Frankfurt, Amsterdam, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Ashburn, Los Angeles, Singapore, Sydney, London, Dubai, and Tokyo, providing global coverage for latency-sensitive use cases. Transactions are routed through Hello Moon infrastructure using the QUIC protocol, which offers lower latency compared to traditional UDP transport. Lunar Lander supports four submission modes: standard submission for individual transactions, bundle submission for grouping multiple transactions into an atomic unit that lands together or not at all, batch submission for high-throughput scenarios minimizing round trips, and binary transaction format to reduce payload size and serialization overhead. The pricing model is success-based, meaning developers only pay when a transaction successfully lands on-chain; failed submissions incur no cost. During network congestion, transactions with higher tips receive priority routing. The third product is the data API suite, providing real-time feeds of on-chain activity across Solana. Feeds cover DeFi events, NFT activity, and token transfers, available through REST API calls, webhook push notifications, or WebSocket subscriptions. Hello Moon also publishes OpenAPI specifications and Markdown documentation compatible with LLM-based agent integrations, indicating interest in serving AI-native tooling alongside traditional developer applications. The fourth product is staking infrastructure for both Solana and Avalanche, allowing token holders to participate in network security while delegating validator management to the platform. In terms of ecosystem fit, Hello Moon occupies the infrastructure layer of the Solana developer stack alongside other RPC and data providers. Its differentiation rests on combining RPC access, transaction acceleration, structured data APIs, and staking under a single authentication surface, reducing the vendor count for teams building production applications. The company supported its data platform with a Flow of Funds blog series in 2023 analyzing the financial mechanics of Jupiter, Lido, Marinade, Orca, and Tulip Protocol, demonstrating analytical depth in Solana decentralized finance. No third-party security audits of Hello Moon infrastructure have been publicly disclosed; as an off-chain infrastructure and data platform rather than an on-chain program, its security depends on API key management, node uptime, and data pipeline integrity rather than smart contract audits. With 19.1 million dollars raised from leading crypto funds and a global endpoint network spanning 12 regions, Hello Moon is positioned as a professional-grade infrastructure provider for developers and teams building performance-sensitive applications on Solana and across supported multi-chain networks.
