Galxe

Galxe is an all-in-one Web3 growth platform that gives blockchain projects the tooling to acquire, engage, and retain users at scale. Originally launched in March 2021 as Project Galaxy, Galxe rebranded and expanded from a credential data network into a comprehensive growth stack spanning community campaigns, token distribution, on-chain identity, reputation scoring, and marketing analytics. As of 2025-2026 the platform serves more than 36 million total users and 7,700 partner projects across more than 34 supported blockchains, including Solana.

How It Works

Galxe's platform is modular: projects can adopt individual products or run coordinated campaigns across the full suite. The core mechanic is credential-based engagement. A credential is a verifiable attestation of a user's on-chain behavior, social activity, or identity — for example, having bridged assets to a specific chain, held a particular token, or completed a testnet task. Projects define task conditions, Galxe verifies completion through its oracle and API layer, and qualifying users earn rewards (tokens, NFTs, or points) automatically.

This credential model underpins all of Galxe's products and creates a closed loop: projects get verified, segmented audiences; users accumulate a portable reputation; and the platform accumulates aggregate data that feeds its analytics products.

Core Products

Quest is Galxe's flagship no-code campaign builder and the primary product most users encounter. Projects create quest series — sequences of tasks tied to onchain actions, social follows, or educational content — and Quest handles verification, reward distribution, and leaderboard mechanics. Quest supports multi-chain token rewards across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Sui, Sei, Arbitrum, Base, and others. In 2025 the platform ran over 783 billion total quest completions by its own count.

Earndrop is Galxe's purpose-built token distribution product, introduced in January 2025 to standardize how projects run airdrops and token generation events. Rather than one-off snapshot distributions, Earndrop ties token allocation to verifiable on-chain and off-chain contributions recorded through the credential system. Earndrop supports distributions across Solana as well as Ethereum, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Gravity Alpha Mainnet, and others. By early 2026 the product had served 30 million Earndrop recipients.

Galxe Passport is a privacy-preserving digital identity product built on the Galxe Identity Protocol. Passport stores identity data — KYC attestations, wallet verifications, social proofs — in user-controlled, ZK-encrypted form, allowing holders to selectively disclose credentials across applications without re-exposing raw data. Passport V3, launched in May 2025, added a compliance-ready layer targeting institutional and regulated platforms. The product had issued credentials to over 217 million verified holders as of 2025.

Galxe Score translates a user's accumulated credentials, on-chain activity, and asset holdings into a single numeric reputation score. Scores are composable: partner projects can gate access, adjust rewards tiers, or prioritize early participation based on Score thresholds.

Starboard is a data-driven analytics and growth intelligence layer introduced in 2025. It tracks the real impact of campaigns by linking social engagement and on-chain behavior, giving project teams measurable return on their quest and Earndrop spend rather than raw participation numbers.

Galxe Identity Protocol is the underlying infrastructure powering Passport and Score. It uses zero-knowledge proofs to issue revocable, on-chain-managed credentials that users control. The protocol is designed to be interoperable across platforms and chains, enabling the same verifiable attestation to be consumed by any application that integrates the protocol.

Solana Integration

Galxe treats Solana as a first-class supported chain. The platform ran a coordinated Solana ecosystem campaign in which 27 different Solana protocols participated, helping projects across DeFi, gaming, and infrastructure reach shared user acquisition goals through Galxe's Quest infrastructure. Multi-chain token reward support extended to Solana in 2025, allowing Solana-native project teams to denominate and distribute rewards in SPL tokens. Earndrop distributions are also live on Solana. Galxe's 2025 year-in-review reported 177 million on-chain transactions across major networks including Solana.

Gravity: The Layer 1 Extension

In May 2024 Galxe announced Gravity, a proprietary Layer 1 blockchain designed to serve as high-throughput settlement infrastructure for the Galxe ecosystem and third-party applications. Gravity Alpha Mainnet launched in 2025, processing over 90 million monthly transactions by mid-year. In July 2026 Galxe completed the full transition to Gravity L1, making the chain the primary settlement layer for platform-native activity. The chain targets 60,000+ TPS with optimizations including pipelined execution and parallel merklization.

Token: G (formerly GAL)

Galxe originally issued the GAL token (ERC-20 on Ethereum, BEP-20 on BNB Chain) with a fixed total supply of 200 million tokens. GAL served as the governance token for Galxe DAO, as the fee currency for developers accessing Application Modules and the Credential API, and as the payment token for the Galxe Oracle Engine.

In July 2024, following approval of DAO proposals GP-25 and GP-30, GAL was upgraded to the G token — the native currency of Gravity L1 — at a fixed conversion rate of 1 GAL to 60 G tokens. G inherits GAL's governance utility while also functioning as the gas token for Gravity transactions, the staking token for network validators, and the primary incentive currency across Galxe and Gravity products. A migration portal was deployed and will remain active for at least one year to allow all GAL holders to convert.

Team and Background

Galxe was co-founded in 2021 by Charles Wayn, Harry Zhang, and Xinlu Chen. Harry Zhang previously co-founded Lino Network and the streaming platform DLive.tv, and held a data product role at Club Factory. The project raised early funding from investors including Multicoin Capital, Dragonfly Capital, and Spartan Group, among others. The platform operates a decentralized governance model through the Galxe DAO for major protocol decisions.

Security and Privacy Architecture

Privacy across Galxe's identity and credential products relies on zero-knowledge proof technology, preventing raw personal data from being exposed when credentials are shared or verified on-chain. Credentials in the Identity Protocol are revocable and managed on-chain, giving users a mechanism to withdraw consent without destroying the underlying record. Galxe Passport V3 added compliance infrastructure for regulated use cases, including KYC-linked identity attestations that remain privacy-preserving through selective disclosure.
