Excoino
Excoino was an Iranian cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2017, operated by Tofad, a subsidiary of Ernica Holding in Tehran. The platform served over one million Iranian users with spot trading, P2P exchange, OTC, staking, and investment products across more than 400 cryptocurrencies including SOL, BTC, ETH, and USDT. It held a knowledge-based license from Iran's Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, though the Central Bank of Iran stated it lacked an official financial services license. Excoino's exchange became inaccessible in March 2026. No support channels remained active, user funds were frozen, and thousands of customers pursued legal remedies. As of July 2026 the platform is defunct with no recovery timeline announced.
