CryptoRefills is a shop where you pay in crypto for everyday things: gift cards, mobile top-ups, travel eSIMs, flights and hotel stays. It lists more than 6,600 brands, according to its homepage. You can check out with just an email address, so there is no account to open for a normal purchase. It takes Bitcoin, stablecoins and many other coins, including SOL and USDC on Solana. CryptoRefills has run since 2018, from Amsterdam. It issues no token and runs no on-chain protocol. It is a regular business that takes your crypto and sends you the product.

How CryptoRefills works: pay with crypto, get a code

You pick a product, pick a coin and network, then send the exact amount to the address or QR code on the payment page. Once the payment confirms, CryptoRefills delivers the gift card code, eSIM profile or booking.

For gift cards and eSIMs, delivery happens as soon as the payment confirms. Mobile top-ups reach the phone number within minutes, the company says on X. The about page claims that 96.6% of orders are delivered in under ten seconds.

Say you want a $50 Steam card. You choose the card, pick USDC on Solana, and send the amount shown from your wallet. The code then lands in your browser and your email inbox. The most common mistake is sending the wrong amount or using the wrong network. Under the terms of service, if you underpay, you can either send the rest or ask for a refund of what you sent.

CryptoRefills also has iOS and Android apps. Both store listings describe paying "with Bitcoin, stablecoins and 20+ other cryptos".

CryptoRefills gift cards, mobile top-ups and eSIMs

Gift cards are the heart of the shop. You can buy cards for Amazon, including local stores like Amazon Japan. Game stores are covered too: Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. So are streaming, food delivery and lots of retail brands.

Mobile top-ups add credit to a prepaid phone number. CryptoRefills says it works with about 600 phone networks in 180 countries. In the UK, for example, you can top up O2, Lyca, Lebara and giffgaff.

A travel eSIM gives you mobile data abroad without buying a local SIM card. The shop also sells prepaid cards, such as a Visa card in US dollars and a virtual Mastercard in euros. You load one with crypto and use it anywhere that takes cards. These cards have lower spending limits than gift cards, as the KYC section below explains.

Book flights and hotels with crypto

CryptoRefills sells flights on more than 300 airlines and stays at more than one million hotels and other properties. Flights were added in September 2024 and hotels in November 2024.

Travel is also what most of its partners promote. Bitget Wallet, KuCoin Pay, Coinbase Pay and Krak by Kraken all joined in 2025 with flights and hotels as the headline, per the CryptoRefills press page. Krak users were offered 5% cashback at launch.

Not every payment option covers travel. The Robinhood Chain option, added in October 2026, covers gift cards, top-ups and eSIMs. Its announcement does not list flights or hotels.

Paying with SOL and USDC on Solana, and the Seeker dApp Store

On Solana, you can pay with SOL or USDC. CryptoRefills has taken USDC on Solana since November 2023, per its Solana dApp Store announcement. Solana's low fees suit small buys like a $10 top-up. On a costly network, the fee would eat into the value.

On 15 September 2026, CryptoRefills launched in the Solana Mobile dApp Store. Seeker and Saga phone owners can now buy gift cards, top-ups and travel with SOL and USDC. They pay from the phone's built-in wallet, with no extra wallet app needed.

"A phone with a wallet built into it aims to close the gap, and Cryptorefills intends to be what people open when they get there," said founder and CEO Massimiliano Silenzi in the announcement.

Other ways to pay: Binance Pay, Coinbase, Robinhood Chain and more

You don't have to pay from a self-custody wallet. CryptoRefills also takes payment straight from several exchange and wallet balances:

Network support keeps growing. Recent additions include Plasma for USDT (March 2026), Sky's USDS stablecoin (April 2026), OKX's X Layer for USDT and USDC (August 2026), and Robinhood Chain for USDG and ETH (19 October 2026). Other accepted stablecoins include PYUSD, EURC and DAI. Bitcoin can be paid over Lightning.

CryptoRefills KYC and spending limits

You don't need to verify your identity (KYC, or "know your customer") for a normal purchase, but there are limits. The terms set three tiers, based on how much you have verified:

Prepaid card products have lower caps, such as €2,000 a day for Tier 2 users. CryptoRefills can also ask for Tier 3 checks, or suspend an account, if it flags a purchase pattern as suspicious. The account stays locked until the full KYC check is done. So "no KYC" holds for typical gift card and top-up orders, but it is not guaranteed.

CryptoRefills points, API and AI agent tools

CryptoRefills Points is a small rewards scheme. You earn points for set tasks, not for every order. The points page pays most for referrals, at up to 500 points per friend, with smaller amounts for a survey or an ID check. You spend points in a catalogue for crypto. To earn them, you need an account with at least one purchase.

CryptoRefills has also built tools for AI agents. In October 2025 it added support for MCP, a standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT use outside tools. With it, an agent can search the shop, check prices and place orders for you. The about page dates the full agent buying feature to January 2026. In May 2026, CryptoRefills added x402, a way for agents to pay in USDC on Base with no account or API key.

Is CryptoRefills legit and safe?

CryptoRefills is a real, registered company that has run since 2018. It is a member of the Holland Fintech Association and Blockchain Netherlands. Your main risk is the one you take with any crypto shop: once you send the payment, getting it back depends on the company's refund process.

You trust the company with your payment. Crypto sent to the payment address belongs to CryptoRefills, with no smart contract or escrow in between. Refund claims must be made within 30 days, and CryptoRefills can take up to two weeks to investigate. Once a code has been delivered, it will not refund it. Codes that fail because of the brand's own rules, such as using a VPN, are not covered either.

Orders can be held for checks. The most common complaint on Trustpilot is a payment taken and an order rejected, with the refund still pending. In its replies, CryptoRefills has said these refunds came from security checks.

The Trustpilot score is suspended. Trustpilot shows no rating for CryptoRefills because of a guidelines breach, after it removed fake reviews from the profile. Of the 460 reviews left in October 2026, 82% were five stars and 11% were one star.

Regional limits apply too. A gift card bought for one country's store often won't work in another, so check the region before you pay.

CryptoRefills runs no on-chain program, so there is no smart contract audit or upgrade authority to check. The risk is about trusting a company, not a contract.

Who CryptoRefills suits

CryptoRefills suits you if you hold stablecoins or SOL and want to spend small to medium amounts without cashing out to a bank first. It works well for travellers buying eSIMs, gamers buying store credit, and Seeker owners spending from the phone's wallet.

It suits you less if you need to move large sums without ID checks. The guest tier stops at €5,000 a month. It is also a poor fit if you can't wait out a refund when an order gets flagged. If you want to turn crypto into a bank balance, a regulated exchange off-ramp is the more direct route.

CryptoRefills vs Bitrefill and other alternatives

Bitrefill is the closest alternative and the bigger, older name. It was founded in Sweden in 2014, while CryptoRefills was founded in the Netherlands in 2018. Both sell gift cards, top-ups and eSIMs for crypto, with guest checkout for most orders. Which shop is cheaper or better stocked depends on the brand and country, so compare the price of the card you want on both before paying.

In March 2026, Bitrefill said hackers had taken about 18,500 purchase records and drained funds from its hot wallets, The Block reported. We found no public report of a breach like that at CryptoRefills.

CryptoRefills stands apart on travel, with flights and hotels in the same checkout. It also has an app in the Solana dApp Store and lets you pay from many exchange accounts. Other crypto gift card shops include CoinsBee and CoinGate's gift card store.

Company, founder and history

CryptoRefills is run by Big Dream Ventures B.V., a Dutch company based in Amsterdam (Chamber of Commerce number 63338149). Massimiliano Silenzi is the founder and CEO. Any legal dispute goes to the Dutch courts. There is no CryptoRefills token, and no DAO or voting.
