Confirmo is a crypto payment gateway and processing infrastructure provider that has operated since 2014, making it one of the older institutional-grade platforms in the space. Founded in the Czech Republic and now operating through its Irish entity Confirmo Limited, the platform specializes in stablecoin-based money movement for enterprise clients — payroll processors, prop trading firms, iGaming operators, e-commerce merchants, and forex platforms among them. The company processes more than $80 million in monthly volume across over 800 enterprise clients in 141 countries, with 99.97% reported uptime and a sub-1% customer churn rate.

Core Products

Confirmo is organized around three primary payment operations: Checkout for merchant payment acceptance, Deposits for receiving crypto into business accounts, and Payouts for batch disbursement automation. Each maps to a distinct enterprise workflow: Checkout handles inbound customer payments, Deposits support treasury and B2B inflows, and Payouts cover mass outbound transfers such as employee salary disbursements or affiliate payouts. The platform integrates via API and also offers a WooCommerce plugin and POS terminal support for less technical deployments.

The Payouts product supports one-time and recurring scheduled disbursements. Businesses can send thousands of payments simultaneously in a single batch operation, with scheduled cadences ranging from daily to custom intervals. Reporting tools integrate with CRMs and accounting systems, and the platform eliminates chargeback risk by settling on-chain rather than through card networks.

Confirmo supports a broad set of assets and chains reflecting its multi-chain positioning. Supported stablecoins include USDT across Ethereum, Tron, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and BNB Smart Chain; and USDC across Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, and Solana. Native token support includes Bitcoin (mainnet and Lightning Network), Ethereum, Solana (SOL), Polygon (POL), Litecoin, and Tron (TRX).

Confirmo is a member of the Circle Alliance, the partner network surrounding USDC issuer Circle.

Solana Integration: Confirmo Subscribe

The platform's most direct Solana-specific product is Confirmo Subscribe, launched on July 14, 2026. Subscribe enables automated recurring stablecoin billing for enterprise merchants and is built on Solana's Subscriptions and Allowances program, a native protocol that launched on June 2, 2026.

The mechanism works by having a customer approve a spending allowance for a merchant. Once the allowance is set, the merchant can automatically pull the agreed USDC amount at regular intervals without requiring the customer to manually approve each transaction. This differs from traditional card-based subscription billing, where processors charge approximately 2.9% plus per-transaction fees and failed card charges are common. On Solana, settlement costs a fraction of a cent per transaction.

At launch, Subscribe supports USDC (Circle) and USDG — the Global Dollar issued by Paxos — on both Solana and Polygon. It handles SPL tokens and the Token-2022 standard, which includes confidential transfer capabilities, useful for enterprise clients processing financially sensitive transactions. WalletConnect integration means merchants can accept recurring payments from more than 700 compatible self-custody wallets in addition to supported exchange accounts, addressing a historically significant limitation of on-chain subscription products: wallet compatibility.

The first commercial deployment of Subscribe was with FTMO, a proprietary trading firm that served as both design partner and early customer, validating the product against real-world enterprise billing requirements before broader release. By September 2026, Confirmo had also deployed Subscribe on Arbitrum, extending the recurring billing infrastructure beyond Solana and Polygon.

Regulatory Status and Compliance

Confirmo's regulatory standing is a differentiator from many crypto payment processors. On December 23, 2025, Confirmo Limited — the Irish group entity — received dual authorization under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework and as a Payment Institution from the Central Bank of Ireland. This made Confirmo the first Czech-founded company to secure MiCA authorization and one of the earliest recipients in Europe. The MiCA license permits the company to operate across all 27 EU member states under a single regulatory regime, a meaningful advantage for enterprise clients operating in European markets.

In February 2026, Confirmo also partnered with Paxos to extend U.S. dollar stablecoin coverage, expanding its geographic reach beyond the EU. CEO Anna Strebl, who leads Confirmo Group, has noted that the company built its compliance architecture to exceed regulatory requirements even before they were formally codified — positioning the platform ahead of MiCA rather than scrambling to comply after the fact.

Security

Confirmo describes its security posture as including two-factor authentication, strict access controls, transaction policies, and cold wallet custody for client assets. The platform claims enterprise-grade custody aligned with MiCA's custody requirements. No specific third-party smart contract audits were disclosed in publicly available sources as of the time of writing.

Ecosystem Fit on Solana

Confirmo's Solana integration is primarily shaped by the Subscribe product rather than a general-purpose Solana payment gateway. The choice of Solana as the first chain for Subscribe reflects a deliberate technical decision: Solana's transaction throughput and near-zero fees make on-chain recurring billing economically viable at scale in a way that is impractical on higher-fee networks. The use of Solana's native Subscriptions and Allowances program rather than a custom smart contract approach also reduces security surface area and aligns with protocol-level standards.

For businesses running subscription billing at volume — SaaS platforms, trading tools, payroll services — the combination of USDC on Solana, WalletConnect wallet compatibility, and Confirmo's existing enterprise integrations and compliance infrastructure offers a path to on-chain recurring billing without requiring internal blockchain development capacity.
