Chainspot Router

Chainspot Router is a Dex aggregator that routes cross-chain asset transfers across Multiple bridges, DEXes, and chains for EVM and non-EVM networks. It uses a proprietary routing engine to compare paths and select the lowest-cost, fastest route for each transaction, combining bridging and swapping into a single step. Users can also deposit assets into omnichain yield vaults and top up wallets with native gas from any supported chain.

Chainspot Portal

Chainspot Portal is a data terminal providing on-chain analytics for blockchain networks and cross-chain bridge activity. It displays chain TVL, transaction volumes, bridge statistics, and community-written reviews for DeFi protocols. Users can explore multiple chains and compare bridge performance using real-time on-chain data.

About

Chainspot

Chainspot is a non-custodial, omnichain liquidity and yield aggregation protocol that enables users to swap, bridge, and manage DeFi positions across more than 36 blockchain networks through a single interface. Founded in 2021 and backed by seed funding from Blockchain Founders Fund, the project is headquartered in the British Virgin Islands and operates a small team of six people as of 2026. The platform serves both retail DeFi users seeking the best cross-chain swap rates and developers who need a routing API to power their own applications.

The Problem

Cross-chain DeFi fragmentation forces users to manage multiple wallets, track liquidity across dozens of bridges and DEXes, pay gas fees in each chain's native asset, and manually compare rates across protocols. Each step introduces friction, cost, and risk. Chainspot is built to collapse that complexity into a single routing layer that automatically finds the optimal path, token, bridge, and fee combination for any cross-chain transaction.

Core Mechanism

At the heart of Chainspot is a smart liquidity routing engine that aggregates more than 50 liquidity providers, 35+ DEXes, and 14+ bridge protocols. When a user initiates a swap or bridge, the routing engine evaluates available paths in real time and selects the combination that delivers the best output rate with the lowest fees. A single transaction signature on the user's current chain executes the full operation, including any intermediate bridge hops and destination-chain swaps.

The protocol integrates Asterizm's cryptographic cross-chain messaging infrastructure for the operational layer that coordinates cross-chain instructions. Off-chain components handle routing optimization and data aggregation only—they have no access to user funds or to proprietary liquidity pools.

The platform also includes a gas refuel feature that allows users to top up a wallet holding zero native coin balance on a destination chain, solving one of the more common failure points in cross-chain UX. As of the December 2024 update, Chainspot added Rango Exchange to its aggregation layer to expand routing options and provide access to additional liquidity sources across chains.

Key Features

Chainspot's router supports over 10,000 tokens across 36+ chains, including both EVM networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Optimism, Fantom, Manta) and non-EVM networks (Solana, TON, Tron). The platform claims up to 80% savings on blockchain fees and up to 1% transaction savings through routing optimization, though results vary by route.

A loyalty program adds a gamified layer: users earn cashback rewards, can refer others for payouts of up to 50% of referral fees, and access partner bonuses. The platform supports 176 wallets via WalletConnect, accepting both EVM and non-EVM wallet connections.

The protocol's documentation describes a forthcoming cross-chain yield farming module that will allow users to manage LP positions across multiple networks with one-click simplicity and single-chain gas payment.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Chainspot added Solana support in November 2024, initially through an updated Wanchain API integration that enabled routing into and out of the Solana network. This gave EVM users direct access to Solana's DeFi ecosystem—including protocols such as Jupiter, Orca, and Solend—without requiring them to manually select a bridge or hold SOL for gas before arriving.

The November 2024 update also brought a partnership with LevelQ to integrate TONYield, enabling cross-chain messaging across more than 20 chains including Solana. Bridging to Solana via Chainspot is supported through Phantom and Solflare wallets on the destination side, while EVM wallets (MetaMask and compatible) are used on the source side. The platform handles route selection automatically, abstracting away the manual bridge comparison that previously made EVM-to-Solana bridging cumbersome for casual users.

The team attended Devcon Bangkok in November 2024, presenting Chainspot's cross-chain technology to the Ethereum developer community.

No Native Token

Chainspot does not operate a native governance or utility token. The platform earns revenue through fees on routed transactions and shares a portion with users through its loyalty and referral programs.

Security and Audits

Chainspot's smart contracts have been audited twice by independent blockchain security firms. HashEx conducted an audit in Q4 2022; Decurity conducted a second audit in Q3 2024. Both reports are published—the HashEx report is at hashex.org/audits/chainspot and the contracts are open-source on GitHub at github.com/Chainspot-router/contracts.

The protocol's architecture is explicitly non-custodial: user funds cannot be moved without a transaction signed by the user's private key. Yield management contracts are non-upgradable, removing the risk of a malicious or compromised admin altering contract logic after deployment. Proxy-based liquidity contracts require signed user authorization before any fund movement. Additional protections include multi-signature governance, Cloudflare and anti-DDoS layers on the frontend, and XDR monitoring tools on off-chain components to detect unauthorized code changes.

Team

Chainspot was co-founded by Alex Gotovets and Artem Avdeev, with Denis Polulyakhov also listed as a co-founder. The company maintains a small, focused team of approximately six people and has a single disclosed funding round from Blockchain Founders Fund. The team publishes bi-weekly development updates on news.chainspot.io signaling ongoing active development as of mid-2026.
