BYDFi

BYDFi is a Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange that launched in April 2020 under the name BitYard and rebranded to its current identity in January 2023. The name is an acronym for "BUIDL Your Dream Finance." From BitYard to Dual-Engine Exchange

Perpetual Contracts. More than 500 perpetual futures pairs are available with leverage up to 200x — higher than most regulated competitors. Maker fees are 0.02% and taker fees are 0.055%. Both isolated and cross-margin modes are supported, with take-profit and stop-loss orders built in.

Copy Trading. Launched in January 2025, BYDFi's copy trading product lets users replicate the positions of top-performing traders with a minimum investment of $10. Traders share 10% of profits. Leaderboards display P&L, ROI, win rates, and maximum drawdown so followers can evaluate performance before committing funds.

Trading Bots. Three native automation tools are available without third-party integrations: a spot grid bot for automated buy-low/sell-high cycling, a Martingale bot for averaging down through dips, and a dollar-cost averaging (DCA) bot for scheduled accumulation. REST and WebSocket APIs support custom algorithmic strategies.

TradFi Instruments. A 2026 addition allows users to trade tokenized equities — including AAPL, TSLA, AMZN, and MSFT — alongside forex pairs and commodities such as gold (XAUUSD), all settled in USDT with zero trading fees.

MoonX: BYDFi's Solana Integration

MoonX is the platform's primary connection to the Solana ecosystem. Launched in April 2025, it functions as an embedded on-chain trading engine that routes orders through decentralized liquidity on Solana, BNB Chain, and Base without requiring users to manage external wallets or browser extensions.

On Solana, MoonX integrates directly with Pump.fun and Raydium, covering over 500,000 on-chain token pairs in real time. The engine uses API-level data exchange with Pump.fun to surface new liquidity pools as they are created, giving users early access to newly launched tokens. A "smart money following" feature tracks millions of on-chain wallet addresses, identifies high-probability traders and whale wallets, and lets users copy their Solana trades with a single click.

Token safety analysis is built into the trading flow: GoPlus security scans run automatically to flag honeypot contracts, concentration risk, and rug-pull indicators. Real-time holder distribution data and liquidity depth are surfaced before trade execution. Dynamic slippage optimization is applied to reduce front-running exposure. All of this runs inside BYDFi's existing interface, meaning users access Solana DEX depth using their exchange account balance rather than a separate self-custody wallet.

For traders focused specifically on memecoins, MoonX is the main draw. It handles Pump.fun launchpad token discovery, hot-trend surfacing, and position management in a single unified panel alongside the user's CEX spot and futures positions.

KYC Policy

BYDFi operates an optional KYC model with tiered withdrawal limits:

• Level 0 (Unverified): Up to 50,000 USDT equivalent per day
• Level 1 (Standard): Up to 5 BTC per day, requiring government ID and a selfie
• Level 2 (Advanced): Higher fiat on/off-ramp limits, requiring proof of address and income documentation

This tiered approach makes BYDFi one of the few exchanges with significant regulatory registrations that still permits meaningful no-KYC trading volume.

Security Architecture

User assets are held across a cold-warm-hot wallet custody structure. The majority of funds remain in offline cold storage, with multi-signature authorization required for withdrawals across custody layers. Proof of Reserves reports confirm greater than 100% asset backing and are audited by Hacken, a blockchain security firm.

An 800 BTC protection fund, launched in September 2025, acts as an insurance backstop for users in the event of unforeseen platform losses. BYDFi joined South Korea's CODE VASP alliance in November 2024, which enables Travel Rule compliance across member exchanges under FATF guidelines. In February 2025, a partnership with Ledger resulted in a co-branded hardware wallet offering for users seeking self-custody solutions alongside their exchange activity.

Perpetual futures access is geographically restricted for users in the United Kingdom (FCA rules) and is limited under ESMA regulations in the EU and EEA. US and Canadian users can access spot and copy trading but face restrictions on leveraged products and MoonX.

Solana Fit

BYDFi's relevance to the Solana ecosystem centers on MoonX. Rather than building a native Solana protocol, BYDFi acts as a CEX on-ramp into Solana's on-chain memecoin and DEX economy. Retail traders who are comfortable with centralized exchange interfaces but want access to Solana DEX token depth — particularly Pump.fun and Raydium pairs — can do so through BYDFi without setting up a Phantom wallet or managing SOL for gas fees. The exchange handles wallet abstraction and gas internally, making Solana DEX liquidity accessible to a broader audience than typically reaches native DEX interfaces.
