Boop
Boop is a memecoin launchpad on Solana that lets anyone create a community token — called a cult — for free in seconds, earning ongoing BOOP rewards once that token crosses a bonding-curve graduation threshold. The platform launched on May 1, 2025 after a snapshot on April 30, and within 1.5 hours of launch Boop reported $63.9 million in trading volume while the BOOP token reached a market capitalization above $500 million. Boop was built by Dingaling (Dinghua Ziao), an Australian crypto entrepreneur previously known for founding PancakeSwap, the Binance Smart Chain AMM, and co-creating LooksRare, an NFT marketplace that competed with OpenSea through token incentives. Creating a cult requires no coding and no gas fees: a user submits a token name, ticker, image, and a short description called lore, and the token immediately enters a bonding curve. Users can also post the concept on X/Twitter by tagging @beeponboop and the Boop bot deploys the token on-chain directly from that post. Approximately 75% of each cult token supply is locked in a smart contract governing the bonding curve, with price adjusting dynamically to rising and falling demand in a model structurally similar to the original pump.fun mechanism. The key milestone is graduation: when a cult reaches approximately 400 SOL in bonded liquidity it moves to a Raydium liquidity pool. At graduation, the cult creator receives 10% of the daily BOOP platform emissions tied to that token, holders receive 90% of those emissions, and BOOP stakers receive 5% of the graduated cult total token supply distributed at the moment of graduation; graduated tokens also receive a Hall of Fame listing on the platform. BOOP, the native reward currency, has a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens allocated as 50% for platform rewards distributed over time as graduation incentives, 15% for the launch airdrop, 12% for liquidity, 10% for the team subject to a 6-month cliff and 24-month linear vesting, 10% for treasury, and 3% for angel investors. The platform charges a 1% fee on all SOL-denominated trading volume, split 60% to BOOP stakers, 30% toward platform buybacks, and 10% to the team. To access staking rewards a user must hold and stake a minimum of 10,000 BOOP, earning both the 60% SOL fee share and 5% of each graduating cult token supply at graduation — effectively making staking an index position across every memecoin that clears the bonding curve on the platform. The designed incentive loop: cult creators launch tokens and drive volume toward graduation; trading generates SOL fees distributed to BOOP stakers; graduating cults airdrop 5% of their supply to stakers and emit daily BOOP to creator and holder communities; BOOP demand rises as it becomes the reward currency for successful cults; higher BOOP value increases the attractiveness of the staking position, bringing in more stakers and cult creators. Boop differentiates from pump.fun primarily through the BOOP token layer: pump.fun is a pure launchpad where the platform retains trading fees, while Boop routes 60% of fees to BOOP stakers and adds graduated-token daily emissions creating ongoing financial ties between the platform, launched tokens, and token holders. The on-chain program address is boop8hVGQGqehUK2iVEMEnMrL5RbjywRzHKBmBE7ry4. In mid-2025 the platform ran a Temple of Moon incentive campaign extending BOOP and SOL rewards to holders of affiliated tokens, and while press coverage and trading volume declined substantially after the May 2025 launch spike — a typical pattern for launchpad tokens following an initial airdrop event — the platform and its smart contracts remain active on Solana mainnet.
