BeycanPress

BeycanPress is a WordPress development studio based in Sheridan, Wyoming, specializing in blockchain and Web3 plugins that let merchants and project teams bring decentralized finance functionality to their existing WordPress websites. Founded in 2021, the company has built a portfolio of more than 21 plugins spanning cryptocurrency payment gateways, token launchpads, and wallet authentication — all architected around a self-custody, peer-to-peer philosophy that avoids the intermediaries and compliance overhead typical of traditional payment processors.

The Core Philosophy: Own Your Payments

BeycanPress built its product line around a straightforward premise: merchants should receive cryptocurrency payments directly into their own wallets without routing funds through a third-party processor, paying platform commissions, or submitting to KYC requirements. This decentralized application (DApp) architecture means every transaction is a direct on-chain transfer between the buyer's wallet and the merchant's address. The only fees involved are the blockchain network's own transaction costs — there is no BeycanPress cut on top.

This approach positions the studio squarely in the self-sovereignty corner of the crypto payments space, appealing to merchants who want the cost efficiency of crypto rails without handing custody or fee income to a centralized gateway.

CryptoPay: The Flagship Plugin

CryptoPay is BeycanPress's most prominent product and its primary commercial driver. It functions as a full-featured cryptocurrency payment gateway for WordPress and WooCommerce, allowing online stores and membership sites to accept digital currency at checkout.

Out of the box, the plugin supports all EVM-compatible blockchain networks and their tokens — meaning Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and dozens of other compatible chains are available without any additional purchase. Merchants can accept both the native gas token of any EVM chain and any ERC-20 (or equivalent) token running on those networks.

Solana and other non-EVM networks are supported through separately purchased add-ons priced at $49 each. The Solana add-on unlocks payments in SOL and any SPL token on the Solana network, with transaction signing handled through the Phantom wallet. Other available add-ons cover Bitcoin, Tron, Sui, XRP Ledger, and TON.

Supported wallet connections include MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom, Binance Wallet, and any WalletConnect-compatible wallet. For customers who prefer not to connect a wallet directly, CryptoPay also offers a manual "Pay by Transfer to Address" flow with a QR code — a practical concession to the reality that some crypto holders remain cautious about dApp wallet prompts.

The plugin integrates with a wide range of the WordPress ecosystem beyond WooCommerce, including Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, LearnDash, Restrict Content Pro, Paid Memberships Pro, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms, WP Forms, Contact Form 7, Dokan, myCred, and GiveWP. This breadth of integration means the peer-to-peer payment model is available not just to product stores but to online courses, membership communities, form-based services, and donation platforms.

Pricing:

  • Lite: Free, permanently available with EVM support
  • Yearly license: $89 for one domain
  • Lifetime license: $239 for one domain
  • Lifetime Extended: $489 for five domains
  • Each non-EVM network add-on: $49

The Lite version on WordPress.org has over 100 active installations and carries a 4.3-star rating. The premium plugin is also available through Envato's CodeCanyon marketplace.

TokenICO: Token Presales on WordPress

TokenICO addresses a different segment of the Web3 market: teams launching a new token who want to run a presale, ICO, IDO, or airdrop directly from their project website rather than relying on a third-party launchpad platform.

The plugin handles presale creation, sales tracking, and bulk airdrop distribution. It supports all EVM-compatible networks alongside Solana — including the newer SPL Token 2022 standard — and Tron. On the Solana network specifically, users connect with Phantom and pay a 0.5 SOL presale creation fee in the free commission-based version.

The free tier operates on a commission model where BeycanPress retains a percentage of presale proceeds and displays its branding on the presale interface. The premium version ($489 one-time for a single domain, reduced from $989) removes commissions and branding entirely, giving teams a white-label presale tool they control completely.

TokenICO has over 50 active installs on WordPress.org and holds a 5-star rating, reflecting a smaller but apparently satisfied user base of token project teams.

Chainium: Web3 Wallet Login

Chainium extends the Web3 experience to user authentication. Rather than requiring email-and-password registration, it allows visitors to log in or register on a WordPress site using their Web3 wallet — a "sign in with wallet" flow analogous to social login but anchored to on-chain identity. This positions it as an onboarding tool for crypto-native communities building around WordPress.

Open Source and Development Services

BeycanPress maintains 29 public repositories on GitHub under a GPL-3.0 license, including a fully open-source Lite version of CryptoPay, gateway integrations for individual form builders and LMS plugins, and utility libraries like a PHP currency converter that handles both fiat and crypto exchange rates.

Beyond its plugin products, the studio offers custom development services for clients needing bespoke WordPress plugins, themes, or blockchain integrations. Supported blockchain environments for custom work include Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Bitcoin, Solana, and Tron. The company lists over 167 completed projects and more than 482 cumulative plugin sales across its portfolio as of mid-2026.

The blog, updated regularly through 2026, covers practical topics for WordPress operators adopting crypto: payment gateway fee comparisons, migration guides from discontinued services like Coinbase Commerce, and step-by-step tutorials for creating Solana SPL token presales or ERC-20 presales through TokenICO.

Market Position

BeycanPress occupies a niche that sits at the intersection of two established ecosystems — WordPress, which powers roughly 40% of the web, and cryptocurrency payment infrastructure. Its distinguishing angle is the removal of intermediary custody and fees: where most crypto payment services still act as processors that settle in fiat on the merchant's behalf, BeycanPress routes directly to merchant wallets.

The studio's Solana-specific tooling — the CryptoPay Solana add-on for SPL token payments and TokenICO's support for Solana presales — makes it one of the few WordPress-native paths for Solana-based projects to deploy payment or fundraising infrastructure on existing websites without custom development.

The company's freemium distribution strategy (perpetual free tiers on WordPress.org, premium upgrades sold directly and via Envato) keeps acquisition costs low while funding continued development through license revenue and custom project work.
