Advanced Payment Solutions

Advanced Payment Solutions, operating under the brand APS Money, is a payment service provider (PSP) founded in 2021 and headquartered in Astana, Kazakhstan. The company describes its offering as borderless payment infrastructure that bridges traditional finance and blockchain ecosystems through a single integration point. Businesses connect to APS once and gain routed access to card networks, alternative payment methods, crypto exchange platforms, digital wallets, and on-chain settlement layers spanning more than 60 blockchains. APS operates a second office in Fernie, British Columbia, covering the North American market, and supports transactions across 150 or more countries.

The business targets international merchants, licensed brokerages, e-commerce operators, and financial platforms that need to accept or disburse funds across multiple payment rails without building and maintaining separate integrations for each.

Core Mechanism

APS provides a hosted payment page and API layer that unifies payment routing across card, alternative payment method, and on-chain rails. When a merchant integrates the API, they gain access to all supported payment methods through one connection. APS handles authentication, routing decisions, settlement conversion, and reporting on the back end. Merchants receive funds in their preferred currency with no requirement to hold or manage digital assets. The platform promises real-time settlement and states that it holds no client balances.

Onboarding follows a four-stage flow: Enquiry, Verification, Integration, and Launch. Merchants work with a dedicated account manager throughout. The merchant dashboard provides instant statements, downloadable reports, and monitoring of transaction status across all active payment channels.

Online Payments

The Online Payments product covers card-based and crypto-platform-based acceptance. Supported card schemes include Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and UnionPay, with multi-currency settlement across major fiat currencies. On the crypto side, APS has integrations with Binance Pay, Binance Connect (which handles digital asset-to-fiat settlement), KuCoin Pay, Bybit Pay, Coinbase, OKX, and Bitget. MetaMask and Trust Wallet are supported on the user wallet side.

APS also supports embedded payments inside MetaTrader 5 (MT5), the widely-used trading platform, making it relevant for brokers who need to accept client deposits and process withdrawals within the trading interface. This has made the product a recurring presence at trading industry events: APS participated in iFX EXPO Dubai in January 2025, where the company focused on alternative payment methods for the MENA region and engaged with brokers and fintech providers seeking cross-border payment infrastructure.

On-Chain Payments

The On-Chain Payments product is the blockchain-native arm of the APS stack. The platform supports settlement across 60 or more networks, including Stellar, Solana, and Ethereum. Stellar is the primary on-chain focus: APS leverages Stellar Ecosystem Proposals (SEP protocols) to enable multi-currency interoperability and to improve payment flow for Web3 applications. The SEP-based infrastructure handles the conversion and settlement logic that allows funds to move between fiat and digital assets.

Solana is among the supported settlement layers in the 60-plus network catalogue. The platform does not publish Solana-specific routing details, and no native Solana program is documented. APS frames the on-chain gateway as enabling payers and payees to transact in their preferred digital currencies, with the underlying network selection handled by the platform rather than surfaced as a user configuration.

APS carries no native token. On-chain settlement relies on existing network assets and stablecoins rather than a proprietary token mechanism.

Corporate and B2B Payments

The Corporate Payments product targets businesses that process high-volume cross-border payments or require OTC (over-the-counter) desk services for large transactions. It offers multi-currency wallets with instant Web3 settlement and is positioned for use cases in B2B trade finance, travel companies, and emerging market disbursements. The April 2025 blog posts on multi-currency wallets and non-traditional business payment needs reflect this segment as an area of active product focus.

Regulatory Standing

APS holds two regulatory registrations. In Kazakhstan, the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) issued license AFSA-A-LA-2024-0015 on July 5, 2024, authorizing APS to conduct the regulated activity of "Providing Money Services in relation to Digital Assets." The AFSA operates within the Astana International Financial Centre, a jurisdiction that has established a dedicated regulatory framework for digital asset businesses. In Canada, APS is registered with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a Money Services Business under registration number M22483616, covering foreign exchange, money transfers, virtual currency dealing, money orders, and payment services.

At the infrastructure level, APS is PCI-DSS compliant and deploys automated Know Your Transaction (KYT) and Know Your Business (KYB) screening across its processing stack.

Company Background and Solana Ecosystem Fit

APS was incorporated in 2021 and has grown its infrastructure coverage to 150 or more countries since then. Its dual regulatory registrations across Kazakhstan and Canada give it a compliance footprint across Eurasian and North American jurisdictions—relevant for merchants that serve clients across both regions or that need to operate in markets where digital asset licensing is a prerequisite.

Solana enters the APS stack as one of more than 60 settlement networks available through the On-Chain Payments gateway. The platform's primary on-chain orientation is Stellar/SEP, and the broader network catalogue provides coverage of Solana-native assets alongside Ethereum, Stellar, and others. For Solana ecosystem participants operating as merchants or payment processors, APS offers a compliant, licensed entry point to multi-rail payment acceptance with card, crypto-platform, and on-chain settlement options under one API—without requiring a bespoke on-chain integration or a dedicated compliance team to handle the regulatory requirements that APS itself maintains.
