Solana Daily Stablecoin Active Addresses Hit 888K in September, Up 269% Year-Over-Year

Solana SOL$111.06-4.1% daily stablecoin active addresses reached 888,000 in September 2026, up 269% from 333,000 recorded in the same month a year earlier, according to RWA.xyz data cited by the official Solana account on X on September 15. The figure counts unique wallets sending or receiving stablecoin transactions each day, tracking active stablecoin users rather than holders.
333K to 888K: A Year of Stablecoin User Expansion on Solana
The year-over-year comparison spans September 2025 to September 2026. Reaching 888K from a base of 333K required adding roughly 555,000 net daily participants over twelve months, reflecting consistent inflows of new stablecoin users rather than a temporary spike. The Visa Onchain Analytics Dashboard, which tracks stablecoin sending and receiving addresses across public blockchains, provides an independent view of the same metric and corroborates the growth trajectory the RWA.xyz data shows for Solana.
The growth also sits within a broader stablecoin environment on Solana. Total stablecoin supply on the network stood at approximately $16.3 billion, per RWA.xyz, at the time of the announcement. USDC accounts for approximately $8.2 billion of that supply, across 9 million holder wallets on Solana as of September 15, per Solana Compass data. A larger supply base, including more USDC and USDT in circulation on Solana, directly expands the pool of wallets that can participate in daily stablecoin activity. Earlier in September, Solana's total stablecoin supply had already reached $16.7 billion, growing 11x over three years to rank third globally behind Ethereum and Tron.
What Daily Active Stablecoin Addresses Measure
Daily active stablecoin addresses differ from two other commonly cited figures: total holders (wallets that contain stablecoins regardless of whether they transacted) and total addresses (all wallets that ever received stablecoins). The daily active measure counts wallets that sent or received at least one stablecoin transaction within a 24-hour period. It tracks actual usage: payments, DeFi interactions, and cross-border transfers, rather than passive accumulation.
The 269% year-over-year gain therefore signals that daily stablecoin activity on Solana has expanded well beyond the cohort of early users. A base of 888K wallets transacting every day points to stablecoin adoption reaching beyond DeFi-native participants into payments and broader on-chain commerce.
Supply Growth as the Foundation for User Activity
The September address figures follow a sustained build-up in USDC issuance on Solana throughout 2026. Circle USDC$1.000+0.0% minted $11 billion in USDC on Solana during August alone, the largest single-month issuance the network had received, pushing Solana's share of total USDC supply across all networks above 10% for the first time. That supply expansion feeds directly into address activity: more stablecoins in circulation on a network means more transactions, and more transactions register as daily active addresses.
The 888K figure in September is the first reported instance of daily stablecoin active addresses on Solana crossing that level. How the trend develops depends on both supply growth and how broadly stablecoin-native applications (payments, remittances, on-chain DeFi) continue drawing in new users.
