Ondo Intelligent Portfolios Launch on Solana, Including Three Built on BlackRock Strategies
Ondo Intelligent Portfolios are live on Solana: seven single-token portfolios of tokenized stocks and ETFs, three on BlackRock model strategies, non-US only.
Ondo USDY$1.150.0% has made all seven of its Ondo Intelligent Portfolios available on Solana SOL$102.09+1.7%, the company said in a 29 October 2026 blog post. Each portfolio is a single token that gives exposure to a basket of tokenized stocks and ETFs, with rebalancing handled by smart contracts. Three of the seven are based on model strategies that BlackRock developed for Ondo. The tokens are open to eligible investors outside the US.
The official Solana account confirmed the launch on 29 October, describing "seven portfolios spanning income, growth, and thematic exposure, each one a single transferable token."
The seven Ondo Intelligent Portfolios on Solana
Ondo groups the seven portfolios into income, growth and thematic strategies. The three carrying "Powered by BlackRock" in their names use BlackRock's model allocations; Ondo designed the other four. Investors can hold one portfolio or combine several, according to the blog.
| Ticker | Portfolio | Type | Strategy from |
|---|---|---|---|
| BLKHIon | Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock | Income | BlackRock model |
| YLD5on | Ondo 5 Targeted Income TR Portfolio | Income | Ondo |
| YLD8on | Ondo 8 Targeted Income TR Portfolio | Income | Ondo |
| BLKGRWon | Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock | Growth | BlackRock model |
| BLKDIGon | Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock | Growth | BlackRock model |
| MAG7Xon | Ondo Magnificent 7 and Crypto Portfolio | Thematic | Ondo |
| BRAINon | Ondo AI Leaders Portfolio | Thematic | Ondo |
The positions inside every portfolio are Ondo Stocks, Ondo's tokenized equities and ETFs, which the blog describes as "backed by real securities." Neither the blog nor the press release lists each portfolio's constituents or the fee each one charges, and neither publishes Solana mint addresses for the portfolio tokens.
What BlackRock does and does not do in the Ondo portfolios
BlackRock supplies the allocation for three of the portfolios, and Ondo runs the products. The disclaimer in Ondo's press release is explicit that BlackRock Fund Advisors "is not the investment adviser, sub-adviser, portfolio manager, manager, sponsor, promoter, underwriter, marketer or distributor" of the portfolios or the tokens, and "exercises no discretion" over them.
BlackRock's role, the release says, "is limited solely to providing one or more nondiscretionary model portfolio strategies to Ondo Global Markets (BVI) Limited based on specifications provided by Ondo." In plain terms, BlackRock wrote a target mix of assets to Ondo's brief, and Ondo, through Ondo Global Markets (BVI) Limited, runs the portfolios built from it. The three tokens are Ondo products that follow a BlackRock model, and BlackRock does not sponsor or distribute them.
The same disclaimer flags a conflict of interest: where the portfolios hold funds managed by BlackRock affiliates, BlackRock entities earn more compensation.
How Ondo's single-token portfolios rebalance onchain
Ondo describes the product in three layers. A strategy provider, Ondo or a third party such as BlackRock, sets the allocation. The underlying positions are Ondo Stocks, and smart contracts encode the allocation, rebalancing and fee logic, "with rebalancing following preset rules on a defined schedule." The investor holds one token that represents the whole basket.
The practical difference from buying the stocks one by one is maintenance. A holder does not need to set target weights or trade back to them as prices move; the contract does that on its schedule. Ondo says holdings, weights and each rebalance are visible onchain, and that the tokens can move peer to peer around the clock and plug into DeFi apps that choose to support them. The blog suggests a portfolio token could serve as collateral in a lending market, though it names no Solana lending venue that accepts one yet. Ondo has not said how often each portfolio rebalances.
Who can buy Ondo Intelligent Portfolios
Access runs through app.ondo.finance and, per the press release, "leading Solana wallets and apps," none of which the release names. The tokens are not registered under the US Securities Act of 1933 and are unavailable to US persons.
Outside the US the rules vary by country. The release says that in the UK the portfolios are available only to investment professionals and high-net-worth companies, and in Switzerland and Singapore only to qualified investors or professional clients. In the EEA, some of the underlying Ondo Stocks are restricted to professional investors.
Ondo's $40 million launch figure and Solana footprint
Ondo first launched the three BlackRock-based portfolios on Ethereum and BNB Chain on 24 September 2026, according to the original launch release, and the lineup on those chains has since grown to seven. Ondo gives two slightly different figures for how they have done since. The blog says the portfolios "surpassed $45 million" in total value locked within their first few weeks, which Ondo calls the largest onchain portfolio product by TVL. The press release puts it at more than $40 million across Ethereum and BNB Chain in four weeks.
On Solana itself, the press release says Ondo already has more than $500 million in TVL across its tokenized assets, and that more than 1.6 million addresses on the network hold tokenized stocks. Ondo does not give a source or method for the address count.
John Hoffman, Ondo's managing director and head of portfolios, said in the release that "expanding to Solana puts that access in front of one of the most active onchain user bases, inside the apps they already trade on every day, and makes every portfolio composable across the Solana ecosystem." Nick Ducoff, GM of institutional at the Solana Foundation, said in the same release that "investors can move beyond single assets and hold a complete portfolio in one token."
Why Ondo built portfolios on top of Ondo Stocks on Solana
The portfolios sit on the same tokenized stocks Ondo has spent the year distributing on Solana. Ondo widened its 24/7 Solana stock lineup to 16 assets in July, and in October LI.FI began routing Ondo stocks and ETFs on Solana through its intents system, which lets the apps built on LI.FI offer them.
The portfolios package assets Solana users can already trade into a managed basket. Because each portfolio is one token, any wallet or app that can list an Ondo Stock can, in principle, list a whole BlackRock-modelled allocation alongside it. Hoffman's comments in the release point to that distribution, and Ondo says more portfolios are planned.
