Claynosaurz Brings Its Solana NFT Characters to Amazon Prime Video
Claynosaurz Season 1 is now on Amazon Prime Video, placing the Solana NFT project's clay dinosaur characters in front of 245 million global subscribers.
Three years after selling out a Solana SOL$75.09-2.6% NFT mint in three minutes, Claynosaurz has placed its animated characters on one of the world's largest streaming platforms. Season 1 of the Claynosaurz series began streaming on Amazon Prime Video on July 14, giving the clay-inspired dinosaur brand access to the platform's more than 245 million subscribers globally.
Three Micro-Episodes Set in Claynotopia
Season 1 consists of three micro-episodes, each running two to three minutes, following Flea, Bex, Trix, and Milo (four dinosaur friends navigating everyday chaos in Claynotopia, a world shaped by clay and imagination). Amazon Prime Video's listing describes the episodes as previews of a full animated series and frames the show around friendship, loyalty, and adventure.
The series is produced under Heeboo, the entertainment studio built around the Claynosaurz IP, and directed by Daniel Jervis. Griffin Burns, Jeannie Tirado, Aubrey Matalon, and Afi Ekulona form the voice cast. Per Amazon's genre tags, the show targets younger audiences in the animation and kids categories.
From a November 2022 Mint to a Global Platform
Claynosaurz launched as a 10,222-piece Solana NFT collection on November 22, 2022, according to SolanaFloor. The mint sold out in three minutes and raised approximately $1.34 million. Six dinosaur species populate the collection: Rex, Trice, Stego, Ankylo, Bronto, and Raptor, each rendered in the clay-stop-motion aesthetic the founders had been developing since late 2021.
Co-founders Nicholas Cabana and Daniel Cabral are animation industry veterans, not Web3 natives. The production team they assembled includes backgrounds from Sony, Disney, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., Marvel, and Industrial Light and Magic. Phil Cabana, Nicholas's brother, brought the concept into Web3 when NFTs took off in 2021. That founding dynamic shaped how Claynosaurz approached the space: building actual animation content from the beginning rather than treating the IP as a future promise attached to a mint.
The Real Asset Is Fandom
Co-founder Nicholas Cabana put his commercial thesis to SolanaFloor plainly: "The real asset is fandom."
The argument is that an established audience lowers the discovery risk for any distribution partner: a streaming platform, a retailer, a licensing deal. Most entertainment IP has to earn its audience from scratch; a brand with an existing community arrives with the hard part done. Claynosaurz spent three years building that community on Solana before the Amazon streaming deal materialized.
The micro-episodes are a proof of concept for the larger series. They demonstrate the characters, the world, and the visual style to both audiences and potential production partners, showing what the full show will look like before committing to a full episode run.
How Heeboo Got Claynosaurz on Amazon Prime Video
Other NFT collections have crossed into mainstream media, though not through the same route. Pudgy Penguins PENGU$0.00609-2.8% expanded into physical toys at retail; Doodles partnered with McDonald's on a brand campaign; Azuki developed anime-style content. Each conversion made the same underlying argument: a community-native brand carries built-in marketing leverage that a studio-developed IP has to buy.
Reaching a streaming platform like Amazon Prime Video requires production infrastructure that most NFT projects could not assemble: finished content, production credits, distribution clearances, and studio relationships. Heeboo was built to be exactly that infrastructure. The studio structure, with Claynosaurz as its flagship IP, is what gave the project the production credibility to negotiate a platform deal.
The official @Claynosaurz announcement drew more than 960,000 views on July 14 and generated broad engagement across Solana and mainstream animation communities alike.
Holders, Equity, and What Comes Next
The streaming debut arrives as part of a broader entertainment company structure the team has been building under the Heeboo brand. When Heeboo launched, Claynosaurz announced equity options for eligible collection holders, linking NFT ownership to corporate upside as the entertainment revenue side of the business develops. The project described Heeboo as "an entertainment launchpad built for superfans," with Claynosaurz as the flagship brand and other IPs planned behind it.
Claynosaurz has expanded beyond the original Solana collection; the project launched NFTs on the Sui blockchain and has a mobile game in development with Gameloft.
The micro-episodes on Amazon Prime Video are the first concrete evidence that the entertainment thesis is operational rather than aspirational. Whether the full series follows depends on what the platform's audience does with the preview.
