- Your position keeps accruing and claiming trading fees
- Finds your position from the pool address automatically
What locking liquidity means, and why buyers check for it
Locking liquidity means permanently giving up your ability to withdraw the reserves you seeded into a pool. Meteora DAMM v2 supports a native permanent lock on the LP position; this tool applies it to your position, so the SOL and tokens in the pool are there for good — nobody, including you, can pull them.
Buyers check for this because pulling liquidity is the mechanics of the most common rug: a creator seeds a pool, lets people buy in, then withdraws the SOL and leaves holders with a worthless token. Locked liquidity removes that possibility entirely. And because Meteora's permanent lock still lets the position accrue trading fees, you keep the income — you only give up the ability to run.
How this tool finds your position
Paste the Meteora pool address and connect the wallet that owns the LP position. The tool looks up your position in that pool, reads its unlocked liquidity, and locks all of it in a single transaction you sign. If you just created the pool, you can lock it right there in the pool creation tool instead. If your LP is a fungible token rather than a Meteora position, burning the LP tokens is the equivalent permanent step.
Lock liquidity on Solana: FAQ
How do I lock liquidity on Solana?
Paste your Meteora pool address, connect the wallet that owns the LP position, and sign one transaction. The tool applies Meteora's native permanent lock to your position.
Do I still earn fees after locking?
Yes. The liquidity is frozen in place but the position keeps accruing trading fees, which you can continue to claim.
Can I unlock it later?
No. A permanent lock is irreversible — the liquidity is locked forever.
What does it cost?
A small service fee plus the Solana network fee, charged only when the lock succeeds. We don't keep the fee — see how this tool's fees benefit compassSOL stakers.
