Xerai
An AI broker system that replicates expert trading strategies, utilizing HyperLiquid vaults for secure asset management and automated trade execution.
Xerox Player Agent
Xerox Player Agent, marketed under the brand name Xerai, is an autonomous AI-powered trading system focused on perpetual futures contracts on the HyperLiquid exchange. The project's native token, XERAI, was issued on the Solana blockchain via the Pump.fun launchpad and serves as the vehicle for profit distribution and deflationary buyback mechanics. The combination of an AI execution layer on HyperLiquid and a Solana-native token places the project in the growing category of AI agent coins — projects where an algorithmic trader is the product and the token captures a share of its performance.
The Problem
Retail cryptocurrency participants face a well-documented structural disadvantage. Professional trading firms deploy sophisticated algorithms, hold access to deep liquidity, and operate continuously across time zones — advantages individual traders cannot realistically match. At the same time, traditional brokerage-style access to managed strategies typically involves high management fees, opaque track records, and locked capital. Xerox Player Agent positions itself as a solution to both issues: an agent that never sleeps, charges no management commissions, and makes its trades publicly visible so anyone can audit performance in real time.
How It Works
The system is built on what Xerai's documentation calls the Xerox Framework — a distributed infrastructure designed to provide secure, scalable, and reliable automated trading. The framework is composed of three logical layers: a Trading Layer responsible for strategy execution and position management; a Risk Layer that handles exposure limits and portfolio constraints; and an Integration Layer that connects to exchange APIs and processes live market data.
At the center of the framework sits a core trading engine that coordinates multiple strategy modules simultaneously, manages order routing, enforces position limits, and maintains real-time portfolio tracking. The architecture is described as modular — strategy components, exchange connectors, and risk managers are designed to be pluggable so the system can adapt to different market conditions or incorporate new strategies over time.
Trading Strategy
Xerox Player Agent is distinguished by what its developers describe as a "schizo trading" strategy. Rather than following conventional technical analysis or trend-following algorithms, the agent specifically seeks to identify and exploit market manipulations, coordinated psyops, and hidden patterns that conventional bots and retail traders tend to overlook. The agent operates continuously — 24 hours a day, seven days a week — scanning HyperLiquid's perpetual markets for these asymmetric opportunities and executing positions without human intervention.
All open positions and historical trades are publicly accessible, with trade alerts broadcast through Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. This transparency is central to the value proposition: anyone considering depositing into the vault can examine the actual live track record rather than backtested simulations.
HyperLiquid Integration
Execution takes place entirely on HyperLiquid, a high-performance decentralized exchange built for perpetual contracts. Xerai integrates with HyperLiquid's vault infrastructure, which handles asset custody and provides the settlement layer for all trades.
The integration includes smart order execution features designed to minimize slippage: Immediate-or-Cancel (IOC) order logic, dynamic price calculation with slippage protection, and the ability to split large positions into smaller tranches using custom algorithms that account for prevailing market conditions. The system also supports a copy trading mechanism, enabling position mirroring across multiple accounts with size normalization based on each account's parameters. Entry and exit optimization based on aggregate position analysis is listed as a forthcoming feature.
XERAI Token and Tokenomics
The XERAI token lives on Solana at the contract address DKh7GZdmo9kNrv5RQcH1SPeQghCkhQso7KvMwhDEpump. Total maximum supply is one billion tokens, with nearly the full supply circulating at launch.
The token's utility is tied directly to the agent's trading performance through a two-part profit split:
- 50% of trading profits are used to purchase XERAI on the open market and burn those tokens, creating deflationary pressure that in theory increases scarcity as the agent generates returns.
- 50% of trading profits are retained in the treasury to fund ongoing operations and scale the agent's capital base over time.
Users who deposit funds into the Xerox vault earn a proportional share of profits based on their contribution relative to the total vault size. This creates a passive participation model — depositors are not actively trading themselves but are delegating capital to the agent and sharing in its outcomes.
Solana's Role
Solana is the issuance chain for XERAI but not the execution venue for trades. The token launched through Pump.fun, a permissionless token launchpad on Solana. This structure — Solana-native token paired with a cross-chain AI agent — became a common pattern in the AI agent narrative cycle during 2024 and 2025, where community building and speculative interest is anchored on the Solana token while actual algorithmic activity happens on a separate execution layer such as HyperLiquid.
Team and Transparency
Xerox Player Agent does not publicly disclose its founding team or development personnel. No third-party security audits of the smart contracts or the trading infrastructure have been published. The project describes reliance on HyperLiquid's vault system for custody security, but independent verification of the platform's code or operational controls is not available from public sources.
Current Status
The project's website (playerxerox.ai) and documentation site (docs.playerxerox.ai) remain live and accessible, with documentation covering the framework architecture and HyperLiquid integration in detail. The XERAI token carries an extremely small market capitalization and has recorded near-zero trading volume in recent periods, indicating that speculative community activity around the token has contracted sharply since launch. Whether the core trading agent continues to operate its HyperLiquid vault actively is not independently verifiable from public data.
Fit Within Solana
Xerox Player Agent represents the intersection of two narratives that gained traction in the Solana ecosystem: AI agents and perpetual trading infrastructure. By issuing on Solana's low-fee environment while routing actual trading through HyperLiquid, the project attempted to leverage Solana's community distribution advantages without being constrained by Solana's own DeFi liquidity depth. The "schizo trading" strategy and public trade log approach differentiate it from simpler copy-trading products, though the long-term performance of the strategy against liquid perpetuals markets remains unverified by independent parties.
