About

Xelio

Xelio is a Solana-based stablecoin payments platform enabling anyone with a mobile phone to send and receive digital dollars over SMS or WhatsApp — no smartphone, no app, no seed phrase, and no internet connection required. It targets underbanked populations holding feature phones who are shut out by conventional crypto wallet requirements, addressing the roughly 1.4 billion adults worldwide who remain unbanked. The founding story is direct: a founder trying to send stablecoins from Sweden to India hit the wall of wallet setup friction and concluded that tieing wallets to phone numbers rather than devices was the only realistic path to global stablecoin adoption at the base of the pyramid. StableChat is the core consumer product. Any phone number becomes a stablecoin wallet the moment a transfer is received. A user texts Xelio, receives a one-time passcode, authenticates, and can then send USDC, USDT, or USX to any other phone number worldwide. The recipient needs no existing account — the incoming transfer provisions their wallet via Para embedded MPC key generation, which runs server-side and produces no seed phrase. OTP is the only required credential; no app, browser, or crypto knowledge is needed. Cash off-ramps use local agent networks in Nigeria, allowing recipients to convert stablecoin balances to physical cash without a bank account. Direct bank transfer integration covers users who do have accounts. The platform currently pilots in Nigeria and targets EMEA and US expansion. Circle Alliance Directory confirms geographic coverage. Supported stablecoins include USDC and EURC via Circle, USDT, and USX from Solstice — a Solana-native yield stablecoin integrated in mid-2025. The Solstice integration was notable as one of the first real-world SMS-accessible yield products on Solana. StableCorp at mystablecorp.xyz is the second product. It gives founders stablecoin-native business infrastructure: Delaware C-Corp or Wyoming LLC formation completing in roughly 48 hours, compliant banking accounts with ACH and SEPA, stablecoin invoicing with instant settlement in USDC, EURC, and USDT, and automated compliance covering tax filings. Singapore and Dubai are listed as launching soon. Bridge provides fiat-crypto rails; Circle provides USDC and EURC; Para provides wallet infrastructure. Over ten companies have incorporated through StableCorp as of mid-2025. Technology: all transactions settle on Solana with fees typically under a cent per transfer. Para SDK handles OTP authentication and MPC key management without exposing a blockchain interface. Neither StableChat nor StableCorp shows users a crypto UI — everything happens through familiar messaging channels. Xelio is a Turbin3 alumni, having completed Solana developer training. At the Solana Breakout Hackathon in April 2025, organized by Colosseum with up to 250,000 USD pre-seed funding available for top finalists, Xelio placed fourth in the Stablecoins track. Solana official account highlighted the result. Para published a dedicated case study on the integration. Circle accepted Xelio into its Alliance partner program. Solstice selected Xelio for the USX launch integration. The partner roster — Para, Circle, Solstice, Colosseum, Bridge — reflects strong ecosystem credibility for a pre-funding project. Founded early 2025, headquartered Nigeria. No venture funding publicly disclosed.
