Uniramp API
Uniramp API is a universal onramp aggregator that connects multiple fiat-to-crypto gateways through a single interface, using the Hybrid-Ramp Engine to route transactions through optimal providers and DeFi protocols for best pricing.
Uniramp Widget
Uniramp Widget is a customizable onramp interface that businesses can embed in their applications, allowing users to purchase crypto with credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods through a white-labeled solution.
Uniramp
Uniramp is a fiat-to-crypto onramp and offramp aggregator that consolidates multiple payment gateway providers and decentralized finance protocols behind a single integration point. Founded in 2023 by Adam Ihsan and headquartered in Singapore, the project targets web3 developers and businesses that need to offer users a way to move between traditional money and cryptocurrency without building and maintaining direct relationships with individual payment processors.
The Aggregator Model
The core premise behind Uniramp is that no single fiat gateway serves every user optimally. Different providers offer different rates, accept different payment methods, hold different regulatory licenses, and cover different countries. A project integrating only Transak, for instance, may leave users in certain markets without a working payment path, or charge rates that a competing provider could beat.
Uniramp addresses this by acting as a routing layer. Developers integrate once—via a widget embed or a REST API—and Uniramp handles the selection of which underlying provider actually executes the transaction. The platform positions this as "one API to rule them all," replacing a series of individual fiat gateway integrations with a single contract and a single technical connection.
Hybrid-Ramp Engine
The routing mechanism Uniramp calls its Hybrid-Ramp Engine operates in three sequential stages. First, it evaluates whether a given transaction can be handled directly by one of its centralized onramp or offramp partners—processors such as Mercuryo, Transak, TransFi, Topper, Swapin, Unlimit, Kado, and Onramp.money. Second, if the token or destination chain is not supported natively by those providers, the engine identifies potential routes through decentralized liquidity sources including Uniswap, 0x, cBridge, Aave, Balancer, and Bancor. Third, it applies optimization logic across speed, cost, and transaction deliverability to select the best combination from the available paths.
This hybrid approach is what allows Uniramp to claim support for over 9,000 crypto tokens—far beyond what any single centralized gateway can accommodate—by supplementing traditional processor coverage with on-chain liquidity for the long tail of assets.
Integration Options
Uniramp offers three client-facing products. The Uniramp Widget is an embeddable interface that developers can drop into web applications with minimal configuration, and it can be themed to match a project's brand. The Onramp API provides a more flexible code-based integration for teams that need deeper control over the user experience or want to build custom flows. Uniramp Insights is an analytics layer that gives integrating businesses visibility into transaction activity and performance data.
Integration timelines are described as two to five working days for typical projects. The platform offers free integration, with a one-time listing fee required if a project wants its own token added to the selectable asset list.
Geographic and Payment Coverage
Uniramp reports coverage across more than 90 countries and more than 100 fiat currencies, with availability in the United States, European Union, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and other regions. Supported payment methods include credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayNow (the Singapore real-time interbank transfer system), SEPA bank transfers, and wire transfers. The specific availability of each payment method depends on which underlying partner handles the transaction and the user's country of residence.
Fees and Compliance
Because Uniramp routes through partner processors rather than processing transactions itself, the fee a user pays reflects the underlying provider's pricing. Fee ranges reported in Uniramp's documentation vary considerably across partners: Transak charges between 0.49% and 5.49%, Swapin between 0.8% and 1.35%, TransFi between 1.5% and 3.5%, Unlimit approximately 3.7%, Topper 3.9%, and Mercuryo around 3.95%. Additional costs from exchange spread and network fees apply on top of the processor's base rate.
KYC and identity verification are handled directly by whichever partner processes the transaction. Partners use different verification providers: Transak uses Jumio, TransFi and Mercuryo use Sumsub, Swapin uses Veriff and Onfido, and Topper uses Veriff. Regulatory licenses held across the partner network include UK Financial Conduct Authority registration, US Money Services Business licenses, and EU Virtual Asset Service Provider status, giving the aggregate network meaningful compliance coverage across key jurisdictions.
Solana and Multi-Chain Support
Solana is among the blockchain networks supported by Uniramp's routing. The platform's hybrid model means Solana-native tokens that are listed on centralized partners can be purchased directly through those processors, while unlisted SPL tokens may be accessible through decentralized routing if sufficient on-chain liquidity exists. Other supported networks include Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, and chains added through ongoing partnership expansions.
Recent Activity
Uniramp has maintained a consistent cadence of partnership announcements through 2024 and into early 2025. In December 2024 the project joined the Ston.Fi Grant Program to expand support for assets on the TON blockchain. In November 2024 it integrated with Sahal Wallet, a product focused on ethical finance. In September 2024 it announced a collaboration with Paribus to support interoperable DeFi assets. In February 2025 it announced a partnership with Takadao, a community-owned financial platform.
The blog record spanning these months indicates an active product that continues to add networks and client integrations. As of the most recent available data, Uniramp operates with a small team of approximately four to seven people and has not raised external funding, operating as a bootstrapped company.
Context Within the Onramp Aggregator Category
The onramp aggregator space includes a small number of established players—Onramper is the most widely cited competitor in this model—alongside a larger set of direct fiat gateways that compete at the provider level rather than the aggregation layer. Uniramp's differentiation rests on its hybrid routing between centralized and decentralized liquidity, which expands the range of supported tokens beyond what a pure-aggregator model routing only through KYC'd processors can offer. Its free integration model lowers the cost of adoption for early-stage web3 projects, though the fee economics ultimately depend on which partner is selected for any given transaction.
