Project Plutus is a no-code automation platform built on Solana that enables users to create, deploy, and monetize AI-powered agents for trading, analytics, and broader on-chain workflow automation. Launched in late 2024 after winning first place in the Trading Agents track of the SendAI × Solana AI Hackathon, the project has evolved from an AI-powered trading hub into what its team describes as "the Web3 equivalent of an automation OS" — a modular system for composing and running AI agents without writing a single line of code.

How It Works

At its core, Project Plutus operates as an agent-based automation layer on top of Solana's blockchain infrastructure. Users can generate agents in two ways: through a visual workflow builder using drag-and-drop nodes, or by describing desired behavior in plain natural language, which the platform translates into a deployable agent configuration.

Once deployed, agents run autonomously and can interact with Solana's DeFi ecosystem to execute a wide range of on-chain activities. The platform is deliberately modular — individual agents can be combined, remixed, or published to a shared marketplace where other users can discover and deploy them.

Agent memory capabilities allow the system to retain context across sessions, enabling more nuanced decision-making informed by historical portfolio data, wallet behavior, and on-chain analytics.

Agent Types and Capabilities

Project Plutus supports two primary categories of agents:

Trading Agents execute financial strategies on behalf of users. These include dollar-cost averaging (DCA) schedules, spot token purchases, liquidity provider (LP) position optimization, portfolio rebalancing, and automated profit-taking based on user-defined thresholds. The agents continuously monitor market conditions and adapt to price movements, removing the need for users to watch charts manually. Copy trading and wallet cluster analysis were among the specific capabilities showcased during the hackathon demonstration.

Analytic Agents focus on data extraction and insight generation. These agents can analyze on-chain data from token contracts, individual wallet histories, and GitHub repositories associated with blockchain projects. The goal is to surface actionable intelligence — whether about a token's on-chain activity, a wallet's trading patterns, or the development activity of a protocol — without users needing to manually query blockchain explorers or parse raw data.

Beyond these two core types, the platform's broader automation layer handles DeFi operations such as staking, liquidity provision, and reward claims. Users can set objectives — a yield target, a token accumulation goal, a risk limit — and let agents work toward them automatically.

The On-Chain Agent Marketplace

A central component of the Project Plutus ecosystem is its on-chain agent marketplace. This functions as a public registry where users can browse agents created by others, deploy pre-built configurations, and remix existing workflows to suit their own needs. Agents can also be listed for monetization, allowing their creators to earn from others who deploy their strategies or tools. This positions Project Plutus not merely as a consumer tool, but as an infrastructure layer where sophisticated users can package and distribute their expertise.

$PPCOIN Token

The platform's utility token, $PPCOIN, powers three core functions within the ecosystem: platform access (unlocking agent capabilities and premium features), agent runtime costs (paying for the computational resources consumed by deployed agents), and marketplace transactions (purchasing or monetizing agents through the agent store).

The token launched alongside the platform in late 2024, with a total circulating supply of 1 billion tokens. Project Plutus applies a deflationary mechanism: 20% of all platform fees collected are allocated to buy-and-burn events, systematically reducing the circulating supply over time. Looking ahead, the roadmap includes the ability for $PPCOIN holders to convert their tokens into NFTs that function as access passes to advanced AI agent tiers, adding another dimension to the token's utility.

Hackathon Origins and Validation

Project Plutus emerged from the SendAI × Solana AI Hackathon, which ran from December 10 to December 23, 2024. The event attracted over 400 projects across seven specialized tracks. Project Plutus applied across three of them — the Main Track for overall AI agent products, the DeFi Agents track, and the Trading Agents track — and won in two:

  • First place, Trading Agents Track — earning a $15,000 prize for its AI-powered trading agent implementation on Solana.
  • Top five, Solana Agent Kit Track — recognized with a $3,000 award specifically for implementation quality and code contributions to the open-source Solana Agent Kit repository.

The Solana Agent Kit recognition is notable because it signals the team's engagement with Solana's broader developer ecosystem, not just their own product. At least one team member, identified by the handle Ycry, contributed directly to the Send AI Solana Agent Toolkit's public repository.

Team

The founding team claims over 40 years of combined development experience, though individual team members have not been prominently named in public documentation beyond the hackathon context. The project's participation in SendAI's ecosystem and its open-source contributions to the Solana Agent Kit reflect technical depth beyond surface-level prototyping.

Security and Audits

As of the time of writing, Project Plutus has not published details of a formal third-party security audit in its public documentation. The platform was in an alpha phase with whitelist-only access, meaning broader deployment and the associated security scrutiny that typically follows a public mainnet launch had not yet fully occurred.
