What Is Neglect?

Neglect is a non-custodial trading terminal built on Solana. It targets two audiences simultaneously: professional traders who need low-latency order execution and real-time analytics, and developers who need enriched on-chain data to build bots, dashboards, and AI-powered agents. The platform launched in 2024 and describes its purpose as "the fastest path to trading, building, and scaling on Solana."

All transactions are self-signed by users. Neglect functions as an interface layer — private keys are never stored on Neglect's servers, and the platform does not custody assets at any point.

Trading Terminal

The terminal is designed around bonded token trading on Solana, with a mobile-first interface intended for retail traders alongside the professional-grade execution tools. Core capabilities include:

• Token discovery: Tools to surface emerging assets before they trend across the Solana ecosystem
• Full launchpad coverage: The terminal covers Solana launchpad platforms comprehensively, giving traders access to newly graduating tokens
• Real-time analytics: Live market data, pricing, and on-chain metrics integrated directly into the trading interface
• Low-latency execution: Order flow optimized for speed and precision

Trading fees are structured on a leaderboard basis, scaling linearly from 0.25% for the top-ranked trader down to 1% for the lowest-ranked, with the leaderboard updating every 15 minutes.

Leverage via LavaOS

Neglect integrates with LavaOS, a decentralized margin infrastructure, to enable leveraged long positions on Solana tokens. The mechanism works as follows: users borrow liquidity from LavaOS pools to amplify buying power; purchased tokens serve as collateral held in smart contracts; and all position management — including loan-to-value monitoring, liquidation triggers, and interest accrual — is handled transparently by the LavaOS protocol rather than by Neglect directly.

Key parameters:

• Liquidation threshold: Positions are liquidated at or above 90% LTV
• Trading fee: 1% per leveraged trade (minimum 0.005 SOL or 1 USDC)
• Interest: Accrues continuously; payments are automatically deducted every 7 days when the balance reaches 0.1 SOL or more

Because Neglect acts as a UI layer over LavaOS for leveraged trades, users should understand that the execution and risk management logic lives in LavaOS smart contracts. Neglect is not registered with the CFTC, NFA, SEC, or equivalent financial regulators and does not operate as a regulated trading venue.

Referral and Rewards

A referral program runs alongside the leaderboard. Users who refer others earn 30% of trading fees generated by their referrals' activity. Referred users receive a 10% discount on platform fees. The combined system creates an incentive for both trading volume and network growth.

Developer Infrastructure

Beyond the terminal, Neglect exposes a public REST API at https://api.neglect.trade covering:

• Token data: Metadata, real-time market data, historical price and market cap snapshots, liquidity metrics, holder rankings, and audit data
• Wallet data: Holdings and per-token profit/loss calculations
• Pair data: Pair-level analytics and LP concentration metrics

Authentication uses API key bearer tokens. These endpoints are designed to power bots, portfolio trackers, research tools, and alert systems that other developers build on top of Neglect's data infrastructure.

MCP Server for AI Agents

Neglect ships a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that allows large language models and AI agents to query token and wallet data through natural language. This positions the platform at the intersection of on-chain data infrastructure and the growing AI agent ecosystem on Solana. The MCP server uses the same authentication system as the REST API (API key passed as a query parameter rather than a bearer token).

Automated Alert Bots

Neglect operates automated bots on both Telegram and Discord that broadcast real-time alerts on trending and newly graduated Solana tokens. Each alert includes market cap, volume, holder concentration, and social links. The @NeglectAlerts Twitter account is the public-facing alert channel on X; the main project account is @neglectapp.

Security

The platform has undergone two independent security reviews:

• Code4rena (May 2024): Competitive audit involving five top wardens
• Sec3 (July 2024): Full security audit of the protocol

Both audits focused on the smart contract and protocol layer that underpins the leveraged trading infrastructure.

Team

Neglect was founded by two builders:

• 609.sol: Product professional with experience across tech startups and web3 roles
• Rikisann: Developer with a background in traditional startup environments and Solana blockchain development

Why Solana?

Neglect is Solana-native by design. The platform's core features — bonded token trading, launchpad coverage, fast execution — depend on Solana's throughput and low transaction costs. The choice to build the leveraged margin layer on top of a Solana-native protocol (LavaOS) rather than bridging to other chains reflects this. The developer API and MCP server are also focused exclusively on Solana on-chain data, making the platform a vertical play on Solana's trading and developer ecosystem rather than a multi-chain aggregator.
