On-chain activity
MathWallet
MathWallet is a non-custodial multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet supporting asset storage and management across blockchain networks through mobile applications, browser extensions, and web interfaces, providing users with private key control and decentralized application access.
MathWallet
MathWallet is a non-custodial, multi-platform Web3 wallet designed to give users a single point of access across more than 200 blockchains. Founded in December 2018 and operated by MATH GLOBAL FOUNDATION LTD in Singapore, MathWallet functions as a broad-based Web3 infrastructure hub, combining wallet functionality with a dApp marketplace, staking tools, NFT features, a native utility token, and—as of 2026—an AI agent-compatible command-line interface.
Problem and Purpose
The fragmented nature of the blockchain ecosystem means users who interact with multiple networks must manage separate wallets, seed phrases, and application interfaces for each chain. MathWallet addresses this by consolidating assets and dApp access across chains into a single application, reducing the overhead of operating across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON, Polkadot, Cosmos, TON, and more than 200 other networks under one seed phrase. The wallet's core premise is that complexity is one of the primary barriers to Web3 adoption, and reducing that friction broadens the accessible user base.
How It Works
MathWallet is a hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet that generates chain-specific accounts from a single mnemonic phrase stored locally on the user's device. The application is non-custodial: private keys never leave the user's hardware, and MathWallet has no server-side access to account credentials. The wallet is available as a mobile app (iOS and Android), a browser extension (Chrome), and a web wallet, and it supports hardware wallet integration via Ledger. Users can import accounts using seed phrases or private keys; the wallet auto-derives chain-specific addresses for each supported network.
For on-chain interaction, MathWallet includes a built-in browser connected to the MathDAppStore—an in-app marketplace of over 2,000 decentralized applications organized by chain and category. The dApp browser routes signed transaction requests through the wallet, allowing users to approve on-chain actions without leaving the MathWallet interface.
Key Features and Ecosystem Products
MathWallet ships a suite of products beyond the core wallet:
- MathVault / VPOS Pool: A virtual proof-of-stake mechanism where users lock assets to earn staking rewards across supported PoS chains.
- MathStaking: Validator delegation tooling allowing users to assign stake to validators and earn yield without running node infrastructure.
- MathSwap: A built-in DEX aggregator for cross-chain and single-chain token swaps.
- MathPay: A QR-code-based payment gateway for cryptocurrency transactions.
- MathChain: A Substrate-based modular blockchain focused on smart wallet functionality, designed as a parachain layer bridging Web2 and Web3 application use cases.
- MathVerse / MathNFT: An NFT ecosystem with virtual lands and avatars.
- MATHGas: A gas fee tracker.
- MathCustody: An institutional-grade custody service.
In April 2026, MathWallet released MathWallet CLI, an interface built specifically for AI agent automation. Rather than targeting human users, the CLI allows AI agents operating on frameworks such as Claude Code, OpenClaw, and Hermes Agent to conduct multi-chain transactions autonomously under a single mnemonic. Supported chains for the CLI include EVM networks, Solana, Bitcoin, TRON, SUI, and TON, positioning MathWallet within the growing infrastructure layer for autonomous on-chain AI agents.
Supported Assets
MathWallet Extension version 4.0.0 supports over 200 blockchains, including all EVM-compatible chains, Bitcoin, Polkadot (Substrate-based chains), Solana, TRON, Aptos, SUI, TON, and Cosmos SDK chains. For Solana specifically, the wallet supports SOL and SPL tokens, and integrates with Solana-based dApps accessible through the MathDAppStore. Liquid staking via Bitget SOL is featured as a Solana ecosystem offering in the dApp store.
MATH Token
The MATH token is an ERC-20 utility and governance token launched in October 2019. MATH functions across MathWallet's product suite, enabling staking in the VPOS Pool, participation in governance, access to premium ecosystem features, and rewards distribution. Token holders can delegate assets to validators through MathStaking to earn yield. MATH is listed on major exchanges including Binance.
Security Architecture
MathWallet is non-custodial by design. Private keys and mnemonic phrases remain on the user's local device, and MathWallet states that staff will never request seed phrases or private keys through any channel. Protective features include URL blacklist blocking to prevent navigation to flagged phishing domains, integration with AvengerDAO's security scoring system for BNB Chain smart contracts, approval warnings when transactions involve token or NFT approvals, and support for hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor) for cold storage use.
One significant caveat is that MathWallet's application code is closed-source, meaning the security of the key management implementation is not independently verifiable. No third-party audit reports from major security firms have been publicly disclosed. Users relying on the software must extend trust to the developer rather than verify security claims through public audits.
Team and Background
MathWallet was founded in 2018 and is operated by MATH GLOBAL FOUNDATION LTD, based in Singapore. Co-founder and CTO Eric Yu previously served as CTO of Zhongtopia, described as China's largest mutual aid platform with more than ten million users. The project received investment from Binance Labs, Multicoin Capital, Fenbushi Capital, FundamentalLabs, and NGC Ventures, among others. The team maintains over 114 open-source repositories on GitHub, including chain-specific Swift SDKs (SolanaSwift, TronWebSwift, NearSwift, TonSwift, TezosSwift) and the Rust-based MathChain node implementation.
As of late 2024, MathWallet reported over two million users and a combined social media presence of approximately 925,000 followers on X/Twitter.
Solana Ecosystem Fit
MathWallet has supported Solana since the network's early growth phase and is listed in the official Solana Foundation ecosystem directory. The wallet enables Solana users to store and send SOL and SPL tokens, browse Solana dApps through the integrated marketplace, and access liquid staking products. MathWallet maintains a dedicated Solana developer documentation page and the SolanaSwift SDK, signaling ongoing developer commitment to the network.
The 2026 launch of MathWallet CLI adds a Solana-native programmatic transaction capability for AI agent use cases, placing MathWallet within the emerging on-chain automation ecosystem where Solana's high throughput and low fees provide a practical execution environment.
