MathWallet is a non-custodial multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet supporting asset storage and management across blockchain networks through mobile applications, browser extensions, and web interfaces, providing users with private key control and decentralized application access.
MathWallet
MathWallet is a multichain cryptocurrency wallet established in 2018 under the Singapore-based Math Global Foundation. It describes itself as "The Multichain Wallet for Web3" and supports more than 150 public blockchain networks across mobile apps for iOS and Android, a browser extension, a web wallet, and hardware wallet integration. The platform serves approximately four million users and functions as a combined custody solution, dApp browser, staking platform, and DEX aggregator within a single interface.
How MathWallet Works
MathWallet offers two wallet modes. The extension wallet is non-custodial: private keys are generated and stored on the user's device and never transmitted to MathWallet's servers. The cloud wallet is custodial, meaning the platform holds the keys on behalf of the user. MathWallet recommends the extension wallet for asset security; the cloud wallet does not support staking and imposes fees on inter-wallet transfers.
Across both modes, users interact with decentralized applications through an integrated dApp browser. The wallet reads on-chain state and submits signed transactions to the selected network, routing through standard public RPC endpoints for each supported chain. For Solana specifically, MathWallet implements the chain's standard wallet adapter protocol, allowing it to connect to the broad range of DApps that support Phantom-compatible wallet providers.

Solana Support
On Solana, MathWallet functions as a full SPL token wallet. Users can send, receive, and hold SOL and SPL tokens, browse Solana DApps through the integrated in-wallet browser, and access network-native features through MathWallet's dApp store. The project published dedicated Solana wallet guides covering both the mobile app and the browser extension. Solana is listed as an active network in MathWallet's monthly newsletters, most recently in the July 2026 issue, which noted ongoing activity across Solana and Base.
The dApp store has historically included Solana ecosystem projects. Early integrations listed Serum-based protocols; the current store reflects the broader Solana DeFi and NFT landscape as it has evolved.
MATH VPoS Staking
MathWallet operates a Proof-of-Stake staking pool called MATH VPoS Pool. Users can stake multiple assets through this infrastructure, with rewards distributed in MATH tokens. The pool serves two purposes: generating yield for holders who stake assets, and running validator nodes for the PoS networks MathWallet supports. The team has committed to directing 50% of new token issuance toward staking rewards.
Staking through MathWallet is available on the extension wallet but not through the cloud wallet variant.
MathSwap DEX Aggregator
In March 2026, MathWallet launched MathSwap, a DEX aggregator integrated directly into the wallet interface. MathSwap is powered by the OKX DEX Swap API and routes swaps across multiple blockchains to find competitive rates and low fees. Users access it through the mobile wallet or at swap.mathwallet.org on the web version.
The interface displays exchange rates, network fees, service fees, and slippage settings before a swap is confirmed. Transaction history is tracked within the wallet. The launch expanded MathWallet beyond pure asset custody into active DeFi utility -- a move toward competing with wallets that bundle swap functionality as a standard feature.
MATH Token
MATH is an ERC-20 utility token launched in 2019 that powers MathWallet's fee, governance, and staking mechanics. Key details:
- Total supply: 200 million tokens
- Circulating supply: approximately 185.9 million (around 93% of total supply)
- Use cases: transaction fees on MathDEX, staking rewards via VPoS, governance voting, dApp store access, fee discounts across platform services
The high circulating ratio signals a mature distribution phase with limited remaining unlock pressure. The token reached an all-time high near $3.15 in March 2021; as of late 2025 it traded significantly below that level, reflecting the broader trajectory of smaller utility tokens from the 2020-2021 cycle.
Quarterly Token Burns
MathWallet runs a deflationary burn program tied to platform revenue. Each quarter, 20% of income is used to repurchase and burn MATH tokens. Published burn figures:
- Q1 2025: 107,395 MATH burned
- Q4 2025: 58,164 MATH burned
- Q1 2026: 20,450 MATH burned
- Q2 2026: 10,453 MATH burned (completed July 15, 2026; transaction verifiable on Etherscan)
The declining burn volume across recent quarters reflects falling revenue or MATH's lower price making fewer tokens purchasable per dollar of income. The burn mechanism reduces circulating supply incrementally but at a modest pace relative to total supply.
Ecosystem Products
MathWallet has extended the core wallet into a wider ecosystem:
- MathChain: An EVM-compatible Polkadot parachain, allowing developers to build DApps that benefit from Polkadot's cross-chain architecture and lower fees. Live at mathchain.org.
- Math ID: A decentralized identity and KYC verification layer.
- MATH dApp Store: A curated marketplace of DApps across all supported chains. Developers can submit DApps for distribution to MathWallet's user base. Business development partnerships are available for promotional placement.
- MathVault: A staking yield platform with compounding functionality.
- MathGas: A gas fee tracking tool for monitoring network fee conditions across chains.
Team and Funding
MathWallet's leadership includes CEO Ke Qiao and CTO Eric Yu, who previously served as CTO at Zhongtopia, a Chinese mutual aid platform, and co-founded XunFang Tech. The Math Wallet Foundation is led by Frank Fu. The team is registered in Singapore.
The project raised a total of approximately $19.8 million across two rounds in late 2020:
- Series A (October 2020, $7.8 million): co-led by Alameda Research and Multicoin Capital
- Series B (December 2020, $12 million): led by Binance Labs

MathWallet is a multichain-first product that includes Solana as one of many supported networks rather than a Solana-native wallet. Solana-focused users who need deep integrations -- validator-level staking dashboards, full NFT collection management, or protocol-specific features -- will find wallets like Phantom, Backpack, or Solflare offer tighter native support.
MathWallet's value for Solana users is primarily breadth and consolidation. A user operating across Ethereum DeFi, Solana liquidity pools, Bitcoin holdings, and Polkadot validators can manage all positions through one interface and one recovery phrase. The recent addition of MathSwap via the OKX DEX Swap API extends this into in-wallet swapping across networks, reducing the need to leave the wallet environment for basic token exchange.
