Lomen

Lomen is a non-custodial investment platform built on Solana that lets users invest in curated baskets of assets organised around themes, narratives, and investment convictions. Founded in December 2024, the project addresses a practical gap in how crypto investors translate market opinions into diversified positions: most people have a thesis, but converting that thesis into a well-allocated portfolio across multiple assets is technically demanding and time-consuming. Lomen collapses that process into a single click.

The platform tagline — "Find AI-enabled strategies" — captures its approach. Rather than offering generic index funds or managed vaults, Lomen surfaces strategies shaped around specific narratives: geopolitical shifts, political stock disclosures, sector rotations, and crypto-native themes. An investor who believes defence spending is rising, or that smart money is rotating out of tech mega-caps, can find a basket built around that conviction and deploy capital into it immediately.

How Baskets Work

A Lomen basket is a curated portfolio built around a specific theme or strategy. Each basket contains a transparent breakdown of every asset it holds, the weight allocated to each position, and the thesis behind the allocation. There are no black boxes: investors can inspect the full composition before committing capital.

Baskets combine crypto tokens, tokenised real-world assets (RWAs), and protocol positions. Available categories span political trading (tracking Congressional stock disclosures), geopolitical themes (defence contractors, reshoring plays), market theses (AI infrastructure, momentum strategies), and crypto-native strategies (Solana ecosystem tokens across DeFi, liquid staking derivatives, and memecoins). Performance figures shown on basket pages are based on backtested historical data, a distinction the documentation makes explicit.

One-Click Execution, Non-Custodial by Design

Lomen's defining technical characteristic is that investing never moves assets into a platform-controlled vault or escrow. When a user deploys capital into a basket, the underlying assets are held directly in the user's own wallet at the basket's target weights. What lands in the wallet is not a receipt token or a synthetic position representing the basket — it is the actual underlying assets. There is no intermediary, no lock-up period, and no custody risk.

Users can sign in with a Google account, in which case the platform creates a non-custodial embedded wallet on their behalf — one they can export at any time — or connect an existing Solana wallet directly. Either path results in full user control. The platform cannot move or spend the wallet's assets without explicit user authorisation.

Funding is denominated in USDC. The platform also supports cross-chain deposits: users can bridge USDC from Base to Solana using Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol, signing once on the source chain and receiving funds on Solana after attestation.

Portfolio Tracking and Rebalancing

Markets move, and basket compositions are actively maintained by their creators to reflect the latest strategy. When an underlying allocation updates, Lomen notifies users and gives them the tools to realign their position in a single tap. Users who prefer a hands-off experience can enable auto-rebalance for individual baskets, pre-authorising the platform to realign that specific position when the strategy is updated. Auto-rebalance is off by default and can be turned off at any time.

The portfolio dashboard shows each open position, its current allocation versus target weights, and overall performance over time.

Community Strategy Discovery: Cesto Labs

One layer above the curated baskets sits a community feed — called Cesto Labs within the platform — where any user can publish a basket idea. Publishing requires a title, a short thesis, and a token allocation that sums to 100%. Once live, ideas appear on a feed sortable by recency, trending activity, or the historical performance of the proposed allocation. Community members upvote the ideas they find strongest, and a creator leaderboard ranks authors by accumulated votes.

Labs posts are distinct from the platform's fully managed, investable baskets. They are idea submissions rather than executable products. However, the creator programme provides a path from Labs submission to managed basket: external analysts, traders, and strategists can apply to build and maintain their own investable baskets on the platform.

Developer Ecosystem

Lomen has built a developer layer on top of its basket infrastructure. Three integration paths are available: embeddable iframe widgets, a Web SDK that enables an in-place invest flow inside any third-party site, and a Server SDK for programmatic access from a backend.

The Web SDK lets external sites add an Invest button that opens the full Lomen flow — sign-in, funding, and position opening — inline on the host page without sending the user to a separate domain. It exposes events for each stage of the flow and supports theming to match the host site's design. The Server SDK is a typed TypeScript client covering basket reads, position management, user provisioning, and managed wallet operations, with support for both Privy-backed managed wallets (signed server-side) and bring-your-own-wallet flows.

The platform also ships an AI agent skill — a natural-language interface that turns compatible AI coding agents into full Lomen clients. The skill can browse community baskets, create posts, simulate portfolio allocations, and pull live market data through conversation, without requiring the agent to handle raw API calls.

Status and Trajectory

Lomen launched on Solana in December 2024, part of the early wave of AI-enabled DeFi tooling on the network. The team appeared in the Colosseum hackathon ecosystem. Through 2025, the platform expanded significantly: the product documentation and tooling matured under the Cesto brand (docs.cesto.co), while the core basket investing application continued to operate. The getlomen.com domain remains the project's public entry point.
