iMe App
iMe App is a Telegram-based messaging application that bundles self-custodial crypto wallet functionality, AI assistants, and DeFi tools into a unified interface. The platform supports multiple blockchains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Bitcoin, Polygon, and TON, enabling users to store assets, execute DEX swaps through 1inch and Symbiosis integrations, and interact with Binance Pay for zero-fee transfers. AI capabilities include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok for text generation, message translation, voice transcription, and image creation. Users authenticate through Telegram, maintaining their existing contacts and chats while accessing crypto wallet features through seed phrase-based non-custodial storage. The application is available on iOS, Android, and desktop platforms.
iMe
iMe is a super-app messenger built on Telegram's open-source codebase that layers artificial intelligence, a self-custodial crypto wallet, and decentralized finance tools directly into a familiar chat interface. Founded in 2019 and originally launched as an enhanced Telegram client, iMe has grown into a platform with more than 17 million downloads and over 500,000 daily active users. The project positions itself at the intersection of social communication and Web3, allowing users to send cryptocurrency to any contact using only their Telegram handle rather than a wallet address.
How iMe Works
iMe runs on Telegram's infrastructure — user authorization, data transmission, and storage all occur through Telegram's servers, and all contacts, chats, groups, and channels stay synchronized between the two apps. Standard Telegram functionality is fully preserved, including text, photos, videos, file sharing, and end-to-end encrypted voice and video calls.
On top of that base, iMe adds its own stack of features. A built-in Google Translate integration provides real-time chat translation. Album and cloud storage enhancements extend the default Telegram experience. iMe Premium unlocks voice-to-text and image-to-text conversion, chat passcodes, a message filter, and the ability to run up to ten connected accounts simultaneously — all synchronized across mobile, desktop, and web.
AI Features
The platform's AI layer centers on Neurobots — AI assistants trained on a neural network using user-defined data sets. Neurobots can suggest phrases and GIF responses, answer questions, or be trained as a personal assistant. Users can create Neurobots for private use or publish and sell them on the iMe AI marketplace. A general AI assistant built into the app draws on models including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and others, giving users access to large language model capabilities directly within their chats without geographic restrictions.
Crypto Wallet and iMe Wallet 2.0
The built-in iMe Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, meaning users hold their own private keys. In November 2025, the project launched iMe Wallet 2.0, described as a next-generation self-custodial wallet embedded in both the iMe app and a Telegram Mini App. The Mini App version means any Telegram user can access wallet functionality without downloading anything extra.
iMe Wallet 2.0 supports DEX swaps, token price charts, portfolio analytics, NFT management, fiat on-ramps and off-ramps, QR code transfers, and AI-powered trading agents that provide real-time market insights. Multi-seed security with advanced encryption protects user funds. The wallet spans 17 blockchains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Bitcoin, Blast, Celo, Fantom, Manta Network, Optimism, Ronin, Scroll, TON, TRON, and zkSync.
LIME Token
LIME is iMe's native utility token. The token has a maximum supply of approximately 996 million LIME and a circulating supply of around 754 million. A deflationary mechanism burns a portion of transaction fees, gradually reducing total supply over time; the first scheduled burn occurred in June 2024.
LIME holders unlock a "Power Mode" within iMe Wallet 2.0 that reduces transaction fees, enables free internal transfers between iMe users, and provides access to exclusive AI-enhanced DeFi tools. Token holders can also participate in staking alongside other supported assets.
LIME raised capital through a sequence of rounds in mid-2021: a seed round at $0.0055 per token raising $260,000, followed by two private rounds totaling approximately $1.2 million, a strategic round raising $370,000, an IDO on A2DAO at $0.02 per token, and an IEO on Gate.io at the same price. The token's market capitalization sat around $1.6 million as of mid-2026, down substantially from its all-time high of $0.40.
Solana and the LIME Migration
iMe's connection to Solana is historical. LIME originally had a token contract deployed on Solana (contract address: LimeYH1PCoDMoUqfY1bUnp8ZdZrPN5nFTW3iofkdzCU), and the iMe wallet continues to support Solana as one of its 17 chains, allowing users to manage Solana-based assets from within the app.
However, the project officially migrated the LIME token off Solana to BNB Chain. In announcing the move, the team stated that Solana's ecosystem was dominated by short-lived meme projects and that BNB Chain offered a more stable environment for LIME's DeFi utility, exchange listings, and long-term development. Users holding LIME on centralized exchanges had their balances converted automatically; self-custody holders were directed through an official migration process, after which the Solana LIME supply was burned. The current canonical LIME contracts are on Ethereum (ERC-20: 0x9d0b65a76274645b29e4cc41b8f23081fa09f4a3) and BNB Chain (BEP-20: 0x7bc75e291e656e8658d66be1cc8154a3769a35dd).
Audits and Security
LIME has undergone two third-party security audits. CertiK issued a rating of 4.4 (audit dated May 2025) and Cyberscope issued a rating of 3.2 (audit dated November 2025). The non-custodial wallet architecture means iMe itself does not hold user funds.
Team and Background
iMe was founded in 2019. The project operates publicly as iMe Lab, with a presence on X at @iMePlatform. The GitHub organization at github.com/imemessenger hosts open-source components of the project. Individual founders are not prominently disclosed in public documentation.
Solana Ecosystem Fit
iMe's direct Solana footprint has contracted since the LIME token migrated away from the chain. The wallet retains Solana support as one of its multi-chain capabilities, so iMe users can store, send, and receive Solana-based tokens through the app. The project's core token economy now operates on BNB Chain and Ethereum, with Solana functioning as one of many supported networks in the broader multi-chain wallet layer.
